Amazing team. Have been going there since our girls were pups. Caring and kind. If you're looking for a place to bring your animals where you don't have to worry. This is the place. My wife and I will be life long customers.

Daycare people helpful and amazing! Veterinarian caring and amazing! But I am so fed up with the handful of receptionist at this place! Every time either I or my partner calls they are very unprofessional and impolite. They always have a snarky attitude , treating the phone call like an annoyance to them. No customer service at all. You should be doing what's best for the pet and be caring and concerned. They do not even say good bye on the phone they just slam the phone in my ear! I wish I could talk to the veterinarian personally and tell him what's going on. Very disappointing, makes me want to search for a new vet office. People don't understand how important the front office staff are, it's critical to have good people skills and if you're not up for that then the job is not for you. You are essentially the first person of contact to clients. If you don't love your job or are not passionate about it please find something else!!!

I’m very, very happy with both the customer service and veterinary service at Halsey East. They are incredibly professional while still being friendly! I was very pleased with how they handled my dogs neuter ie the high quality, up-to-date medical care that they clearly provide, their thoroughness and even how he looked and behaved when I picked him up (not upset, or disheveled). I am always happy to do whatever is best for my pets, but I also have a lot of questions and want to understand why/what we’re doing and hear about the different options. I have never felt like I was annoying any of the techs, or the doctor with my questions which is honestly so refreshing! I’m looking forward to bringing my new kitten here and my pup for many years to come!

Parking lot is set up well. It serves as the waiting area too. You communicate with the front desk and the vet with your phone so you and your pet stay safe in your car. Very knowledgeable vets too.

been taking my fluffy little man to dr olson since i got him from Oregon humane society! she's great and he's the happiest cat i think I've ever seen! (don't be afraid to adopt! my last two kitties were adopted and they're the sweetest little angels!)????

There are no words that can express my appreciation. This clinic and its staff are amazing, very professional and friendly. They really have a love for their profession and their patients. They are the best.

Megan the surgical scheduling nurse has horrible bedside manner and they have no experience with big breed certifications like hip ex Ray's and the like

Got my dog Moka spaded here… and getting my male dog Felix Neutered… good service, and there very COVID awareness, as they don’t allow anyone to go inside so they doing good for the community while taken care of are dogs and have a doggy daycare and always. Pleasure to Talk to on the phone

I can always count on my pet receiving the best care.

My dog is usually a bit reactive so I expect a scene upon entering anywhere there might be other dogs. Not here though! The lobby is large with plenty of space to keep your dog away from others if they can't behave. The staff is friendly, the service is informative, and the final bill was a good bit less than I anticipated. I know we've been through a pandemic but the restrictions were lifted, vaccine cards can be shown, masks can be worn. But instead it's over 90 degrees and to NOT sit in a hot car, something you'd get in trouble for doing to a dog, this place is going to charge you and extra $35 if you leave their lot to try to find a shadier spot to wait. This seems like a manufactured way to make money on top of services.

They have gone out of their way to assist me in getting the special medication my cat needed when we moved out of state until I find a new veterinarian. Wonderful kind people I highly recommend them. They have cared for my cats and my mothers dogs for several years. Were compassionate and caring when my older cat crossed the rainbow bridge. I couldn't have been more pleased with the care we received.

Currently only doing pickup at car with no inside service. The team were able to admit my little corgi on a busy day and with minimal wait time. I believe I was sitting for 3 minutes. They were excellent in keeping me in the loop with regular calls. They got the exam done quick and checked his eyes, thankfully he was fine. He just had a mild irritation, but you don't mess around with eye health Always Get them Checked. The vet was super polite and sadly my little boy was anxious about nail trimming, they didn't even charge me for trying. I guess I'll need to learn how to trim, but I am glad they didn't stress him out. Super care, great service, very reasonable rate considering the very short notice. I would highly recommend them. Certainly my team for my foreseeable future. Thanks again team.

I like Dr. Vidoz, staff are nice. Ready for covid to be over to see/talk about what's going on in person (you have to wait in the parking lot). Took the pup for annual and forgot a bunch of topics(glands, nails etc.) now have to make another appointment ???? ugh

By far the best vet we have found in Portland! All the staff is super nice, communicates really well, and Dr. Olsen takes the best care of our cats.

We had a little female black and tan long hair dachshund that had breast cancer and her quality of life was real bad so I had called and had talked with a technician about her and had set up everything to have her put down. The veterinary that came in and gave her a shot then 45 minutes later I had to ask the technician to get the veterinarian to five her the 2nd shot. The veterinary comes in and tells me that he still had time if it was over a hour then he would have had to start over. REALLY the pain is bad enough losing our beloved girl but to let our dog lay there in limbo and then to tell me that I dont need to worry that he still had time and would not have to start over. I have lost many of my beloved dogs in my life but this was the worse that I have ever had a veterinarian so cold and uncaring to my feelings. I have now removed all of my dogs from this veterinarian clinic and will not be back after I pick up our girl that we just lost.

Excellent Vets, great techs, etc... But if you're paying cash you WILL be paying for it. I guess you yet what you pay for. Great care=????

I love this clinic! I've had several pets and had several vets through the years, and they're the best I've found. They treat our boys very well! We originally sought them out after our black and tan doxie was having seizures. Little did I know that the doctor loves dachshunds and specializes in dogs with seizures. It was meant to be. Through a series of tests, we found out our boy has epilepsy and he's now on meds to prevent them. They are kind, attentive, and they listen to your concerns.
