I’ve seen other reviews of this place but the gals at the front desk are not “rude” or “unprofessional.” I think it’s them trying to remain objective because working with animals and their overprotective owners can be stressful. Give them a break! As a walk-in clinic, I showed up at 8 am behind others in line and was done with everything by 10:45. In that time I had 4 calls from the staff to ensure communication and to diagnose issues. My dog has a bad bladder infection. My total bill was $125 for exam, tests, and antibiotics. VERY REASONABLE!!! I also half expected my dog (who is neurotic) to be mentally messed up for the entire day afterwards but she was completely happy and her normal self—which says A LOT about the care while she was there ❤️

Had to bring in a cat and they refused to take care of his absess which could've killed him and he was pretty aggressive and they just refused to take care of him and kicked us out

More strict Covid guidelines than a real Dr office. I mean all stores and restaurants are open but not the vet. They were extremely slow and had no diagnosis for my dog after waiting forever.....in my car.

The lady at the front desk who has been there forever with the short reddish curly hair is rude every single time I’ve been there! I have been going there for years because of the pricing is better, but the front desk lady is completely rude every time I’ve been there! Today I called to see if they were open because the weather is not so good, she said yes and that they would be closed from 1130 to 1, I show up all the way from Estacada at shortly after one, and she tells me she’s not taking any more Clients! I tried to explain that I drove a very long way after I talk to her on the phone and she just got even more rude!

If you want to experience micro-aggressions while simultaneously worrying about your pet, the two elderly receptionists are perfect for the job. They’re both condescending, love to waste time and are extremely passive aggressive. I advise you to look elsewhere for better service.

I went in for my cat's 2nd shot & this is my first cat so I wasn't sure about how the shots work but the guy brought him back out to me after his 2nd dose & then told me he still needed the rabies vaccine, which he got 3 weeks prior, and I didn't know he only needed 1 shot per year for that. The guy gave him a 2nd dose of the rabies vaccine & told the front desk lady he got one a year ago but my cat is 8 months old!!! The front desk lady tried to act like they didn't give him the shot & I had to ask her twice about why she wasn't charging me for the rabies shot. Very unprofessional the vet didn't even say anything to me after they realized he didn't need the shot. He just walked away.

Time come , sadly , to put to sleep our 14.5 year old Border Collie. The staff at Companion is wonderful and compassionate in their approach. Thank you all - lady in reception,technician and Dr. Coolidge !

Terrible vet, honestly no idea how they are still in business!!! Rude, unprofessional and poor quality care of animals. My cat hasn’t been the same since getting neutered and an abscess treated at their clinic. They also don’t respond well to negative reviews and refuse service as well as delete reviews.

Don't recommend. If you say something negative online they drop you. Front desk lady was rude and unprofessional.

The wait was long, but it is first come first serve so I was not mad. The staff were great and the vet was very informative.

Called ahead of time to be sure my cat that had a stroke could be euthanized. When I showed up at 2:15 I was refused service after being assured over the phone that if I arrived before 3:30 he would be taken care of. The woman at the front desk was awful and not helpful at all while my cat was dying in the car!! left a review on Facebook which was deleted and received a letter in the mail that I am no longer welcome at this clinic due to me posting about my negative experience here. Since my experience I have heard so many more horrible stories about this place :(

I have had multiple issues with the staff. The vets have always been great but I will never take my dog back after the treatment myself and my dog have had. People like that should never be in customer service or handle animals

Don't trust this place. If you write an even remotely negative review they will send you a passive aggressive letter saying you cannot be a client anymore "due to posts you've made on social media." Front desk is horribly rude, even in times of your pet being in distress. They should honestly be embarrassed how they treat people. I would give 0 stars if I could.

They delete true reviews and complaints off social media and then send letters to the clients saying they can no longer be their vet due to the comments on social media…how about you guys do better and treat animals better. It’s your job to care for our furry friends not harm them. Disgusting that people can’t make an honest review or complaint.

This clinic has the most affordable prices and they are always attentive and friendly. The wait times vary, usually I’m in and out of there. But it’s mostly walk ins so they can get quite busy. I’ve been here several times and this is my favorite place to go. I wouldn’t trust the bad reviews, I’ve never had anyone be rude to me. It’s always been a pleasant experience. Keep smiling and wait your turn. :)

One person says to call to get on a wait list one day, next day it’s unfair to do that and I must come down. Poor customer service.

Had to get my kitten Bean Purrito checked out. They were fast, friendly and very efficient. Didn't try to push extra services and the price was very reasonable. They gave a total price to have my dogs spayed with no hidden costs and I plan to bring my animals back to this place.

I have had a great experience with the staff at the Gresham location. If you are willing to wait, due to first come first serve, it is worth the money you can save. You are able to schedule surgeries but that is on certain days. If you are crunched for time then I would look to a different vet that takes appts

Terrible experience. They charged me 60 too much and told me I was lying about what I was quoted. They were more than rude and told me not to bring the dog back because I was an irresponsible owner.

My current Veterinarian would not see my dog to X-ray and care for two broken toes, they referred me to the many emergency hospitals in the Metro area as standard procedures these days. I opted to take her to this clinic and I couldn't have been happier with the care that we received. She did require surgery and it was scheduled promptly. The staff provided the upmost care for her through the whole process; pre and post-op.

It's difficult to get in at times, so you need to go first thing I'm the morning. The staff is friendly and kind to the animals. The Dr's really take the time to convey everything to you without rushing. I like that and the price is fair.

I took my little one in due to a coughing and we couldn’t go in with her, three hours later when we picked her up she was in worse condition. She end up passing away that that night. The doctor didn’t say anything about if she was suffering. I wish I could have put her down instead of waking up and seeing her like I did. Please, spend a bit more money and take your love ones somewhere you can go in with your pet.
