This was my first visit with Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital. I have 2 cats and a senior dog. The woman (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) was very nice and professional even though they were understaffed and it was VERY busy! I never saw her lose patience. The vet tech (once again so sorry I don’t remember her name either) was sweet and professional. Dr. Bailey was very nice and professional. He asked many questions to get to know my pets and answered all my questions. He even called personally the next day to let me know about my dog’s bloodwork. Based on this I would highly recommend them.

Dr Rick has been our vet for 2 dogs and 2 cats. He and his staff are very knowlegable and compassionate. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly.

Like many people, my pets mean a great deal to me and my family. The folks at Cedar Mill Vet care for our pets like they were their own. The staff is always courteous and diligent in returning calls and providing medication when needed. They take the time to give extra special care to our very geriatric dog. We will always take our furry family members to Cedar Mill Veterinary. No one else will be good enough for us.

Masters of wasted time & trips. Puppy had leg surgery at Cedar Mill two years ago, told us to drop her off early AM for AM app't... BUT surgery turned out to be scheduled for mid-afternoon, which they didn't tell us until we picked her up that evening and asked why it took so long. Their response was "we shouldn't have had you bring her in so early". Made an app't for Tuesday of this week to check out one leg that has gone south - spent over an hour driving to app't only to be told they had "migrated to a new system and we lost your app't... come back tomorrow." When we told them that was unacceptable, one receptionist immediately got extremely nasty with us, said it wasn't their fault. Whose was it, then? You changed to a new system and NO ONE VERIFIED appointments??? And it's OUR FAULT??? Will NEVER go back to this rude, uncaring clinic.

The quality of the veterinarian's is very high but the experiences I have had with the supporting staff has been awful on multiple occasions. In the past I have called in with the need for time sensitive information and it was very difficult to get responses back. When I did it was because I called back in and was told they had forgotten or were too busy to call me. Most recently I called with a serious issue, which they forgot to call back on, and when I called in again was told they could not offer me any support for almost a month. No medication to stop the issue, and no support in the meantime. Keep in mind my pets issue gets worse with time and spreads to all pets and humans. I get that their is a lot of demand on vets these days but this was an urgent issue. Thankfully our old vet which competes with this location and is also booked a month out recognized the urgency and fit us in as a critical case the next day. I will no longer be doing business with Cedar Mill Veterinary Hospital. They are just too difficult to work with.

This clinic came highly recommended and looks incredible. They were very responsive to my inquiry but unfortunately informed me they are no longer accepting new clients. This information has not yet been updated on their website. They unfortunately don't have a waiting list and instead suggested I check back periodically to see if they have been able to change their policy. Judging by the reviews from the past few months, this must be a very recent shift in their policies, perhaps because it looks like they were previously a bit over-extended. I empathize with the need to do so, but was very sad that I won't be able to utilize them for care of my cat near-term.

CMVH has been serving the community for more that 30 years and it shows. You will receive quality care and experienced staff who's focus is about getting your pet the right care at a fair price.

I've gone to Cedar Mill Vet Hospital for many years now. I am always happy with how they take care of my two cats, now 5 years old. The doctor is always friendly & so is the staff! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best in cat (or dog) care!

I've been taking my two feisty cats to CMVH for several years and I feel lucky to live so close to a reliable vet office. The staff is compassionate and efficient and all of the vets have seemed knowledgeable and capable in assisting me and my cats with their healthcare needs. The techs are particularly great. I've taken my guys to other places where the techs were rough with them, but at Cedar Mill the staff seem to be able to manage them without a lot of force, which I really appreciate. I also think the fees are very reasonable. I wish they still did cat grooming, but I know no office can be all things to all people and I'm grateful to Dr. White and his team for the wide array of services they do offer.

So disappointed with CMVH. My cat had a major after hours health emergency over the weekend, and we were at the emergency vets with him until 2am. We still don’t know what is wrong with him, or if he’ll pull through. We didn’t even know if he’d be coming home. They managed to comfort him in the end and sent us home with a referral back to CMVH for follow up. Unfortunately, their next emergency appointment is a week away. Routine care would be 3 weeks. The explanation I was given was they are short staffed. I asked if I could speak to anyone about his condition, and was told that because he hadn’t been seen by them since May, they wouldn’t do a telephone consultation. Unfortunately that doesn’t really help relieve his pain and suffering much. I am just stunned that we are at a point where I have to just sit and watch this unfold, and there is nothing CMVH can or will offer to help. UPDATE: While I was on the phone with CMVH, someone else from CMVH called and left a message that they had received the report from the emergency hospital, and we should call back with any questions or concerns. Interesting, because the first person said they wouldn’t answer anything. Anyway, she asked what the symptoms were, and relayed those to a vet. She then told me the vet recommends he be seen again, and they can’t see him until next week so I should take him back to the emergency vet. Great, I’ll get to pay another $1,000 to the emergency vet to be referred back to CMVH. At least this time I was told that they have a number of people out on vacation right now which is why they can’t see him. I will explain to my cat that he needs to quit being sick until after summer vacation, and see how that goes.

My dog Max had been limping. I took him and not only was Dr. White able to quickly diagnose the issue, he did a great job of explaining exactly what his injury was and what we need to do going forward. I'm completely confident in Max's treatment going forward. I definitely recommend this vet.

Dr. Bailey knew right away what was wrong with my Kitty. He gave her meds and its like she's a new Kitty and feeling so much better. I'm thankful for them making my girl happy and healthy.

Very disappointed with my visit here. I brought my cat in so he could get neutered only to receive my cat back soaked in his own urine several hours later. Very unprofessional. The smell of cat urine is very hard not to notice and I'm upset that they would give him back to me in this condition, considering he had a wound from surgery this brings concerns such as infections to mind. Also this makes me question if cats are kept in their carriers with no access to a litter box.

This clinic has adjusted to the current times very smoothly and we can get on get referred very timely. The staff is helpful and very good with dogs (and cats) of all demeanors. We’re glad they’re nearby.

Cedar Mill Vet has been providing wonderful service for our pets for over 20 years. We feel lucky to have them provide care for our dog and cats and Dr. Bailey is excellent!

I have always loved that this vet separates dogs and kitties, and has pheromones to calm them down, but I also want to add that they have also been great though the pandemic, providing curbside service and taking great care of my kitties with PPE. (I own 2 cats: 6 y/o F rescued stray & 11 y/o M. Both indoor.)

We finally had to pull the plug on that vet associated with PetSmart. Boy, are we glad we made the change! The vets are very thorough and communicative, especially during this weird pandemic time. We had a very difficult situation with our young dog and they were so very helpful - we are so grateful. The service is great, and our puppy is in really caring hands.

Dr Bailey and all the staff was polite and helpful during the whole process. We were new to the area and were referred to Cedar Mill from Tabasbourne Emergency. Cedar Mill was extremely accommodating given my circumstances. Dr Bailey made sure to explain and was very considerate of our financial situation. Our 13 year old pitt mix had a mass on her belly that started bleeding. When no other vet would help us until June, Dr Bailey and staff were able to get us taken care of much sooner. My pup is home and almost fully recovered already. I would highly recommend a Cedar Mill. We will be back to see Dr Bailey!

They took just great care of my sweet baby River. And continue to be brilliant with my other baby Storm who has a very big personality. I would highly recommend Dr. Chayse or any other Vet at this Hospital. They are always quick to get back to me when ever I have an inquiry.
