My cat is a new customer and needed shots, blood work, dental, etc. It has been a pleasure working with this clinic; they communicate very well and have been a joy to work with!

22 November 2021,had to have my 18yr old cat Princess euthanized. All the staff were very caring and compassionate. They let me have all the time I needed in the room with her before,during and after the procedure to comfort her and say my goodbyes. Prior to this visit they tried everything possible to keep her comfortable for her last few months.

After waiting for 6 weeks for the appointment we were pleasantly surprised by the service we received. Our cats, Brian and Becky, are almost 19 years old. They were born in Jiangxi China in our flat. Now, Brian is reaching the end of his life. Becky is, , ,well, Becky. We appreciate the care and concern shown by all the staff at Cathedral. Gil and Gloria

I cannot express how happy I am with the care from Dr. Kelly and Cathedral Animal Hospital. Dr Kelly is impressively knowledgeable, professional, and personable. What is also impressive is how every single person from reception to the techs and doctors knows my pet, and what’s going on with her that day. This is especially helpful in the era of COVID and not being able to be physically present in the office. Moreover, every conversation with each staff member has been informative and pleasant. It really seems like everyone at Cathedral enjoys their job and where they work.

First of all, I cannot say enough about our Doctor. Dr Grubb is the absolute best. Since joining the Cathedral Team, it has been spectacular. There has to be a truth of Great people attract great environments and team dynamics. I( am certain the rest of the Staff exemplify this tenor. Today, we interacted with Dr Grubb and her team, Dallas at check in and Uriel for direct pick up and transfer of our dear Greta Garbo who was having vomiting issues. Uriel had a calm upon initial contact and comforted Greta Garbo and ushered her into treatment. Care cannot happen without emotion and passion. Our Team at Cathedral manifest the essence of this ideal. As a totally "present" Dachshund Owner, this care puts me at peace. Ironically, the veterinary care provided by Dr Grubb and the Cathedral Animal Hospital Team might have some lessons for the Human side of medical care. Kudos to Cathedral Animal Hospital!!!

Our dog Vance has had the most amazing care at Cathedral. The combination of western and eastern medicine for our quirky rescue dog is absolutely perfect. All the staff are kind, welcoming and professional. I don’t have enough words to describe the great care the whole team provides!

We recently moved to Portland this year and Cathedral Animal Hospital has been great! We have had nothing but positive experiences with their staff. They're great at making sure people get in and out efficiently and safely with COVID policies in place. I can't recommend them enough

Although I haven't had my first appointment yet, I just got off the phone with Nick at Cathedral Animal Hospital. I am in a panic due to my (now previous) veterinarian's office not completing an order for my cat's prescription, and I am leaving town and the medicine won't be here in time. Although Cathedral Animal Hospital can't prescribe medicine without an exam first (for liability reasons) Nick took his time to explore other options with me to help me get my fur baby her medicine before I leave town. I immediately booked an appointment for her initial exam, and I am excited to work with Cathedral Animal Hospital moving forward. Thank you, Nick for your kindness and compassion! Edit after first visit: I can't express enough how much I appreciate the love and support from the staff at Cathedral Animal Hospital. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Colby and Casandra. They were so gentle with my kitty, Casandra got down on the floor to do her exam so she didn't have to bring my cat up to the exam table; an incredibly nice gesture. Dr. Colby explained everything to me, in detail, and they sent so many helpful follow-up emails so I didn't walk away from the appointment feeling overwhelmed. They are also easily accessible by email or phone call-no more waiting on hold for 30+ minutes! What a weight off my shoulders to find a veterinarian office that I can trust with my pet.

My dog suffers from pretty extreme anxiety making vet visits especially stressful. Everyone at the clinic went out of their way to make him feel more at ease during his annual exam. I felt that the staff really listened and valued my input. They were very knowledgable and we found what I think will be some great solutions to treat chronic pain that he has in his back leg. I have never seen my dog more comfortable and relaxed at the vet. Normally he gets so stressed that even after returning home he's squirrelly for the rest of the day, but he was just fine! It really was remarkable. We feel lucky to have found such great care so close to home. Thank you Dr. Colby, Cassandra, and Emma!

I first visited Cathedral three days ago. I had worked with Dr. Victoria Colby at another clinic. Both she and the staff at Cathedral are exceptional. I was very impressed with everyone I saw and talked to. They are warm, empathic, upbeat, responsive.. I really cannot say enough good about my experience. Best of all, they really tuned into my dog Maddie and she is on a path for further diagnostics and then a treatment plan.

Our first visit with Cathedral was about a week ago and I couldn't be happier with how they treated me and my 12 year old dog. My dog is super anxious and does not like change so going to a new vet was super scary. They treated her with care and made sure she felt comfortable and safe. The entire staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome. Dr. Victoria gave me a thorough explanation of treatment and allowed me the space to ask questions and be a part of my dog's care. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic. I love the team here and at Kenton Animal Hospital. I have been going here and Kenton for 4 years now for both my dogs (one passed away last year) and everyone who works here has been very supportive. The doctors are very understanding and knowledgeable.

I've been to multiple vets in the 3 years I've had my pup due to moving, and Cathedral Animal Hospital is hands-down the best vet I've been to. I took my dog for her first annual appointment last August and everyone could not have been nicer and more professional, especially during COVID. Dr. Kelly called me from the exam room and spent nearly a half hour on the phone with me answering all my questions about a raw diet, vitamins, vaccines, etc. She spent the time to make sure I understood everything, which I greatly appreciated. I've NEVER had a vet spend more than 15 mins with me during a basic exam. We recently went in for an emergency appointment, and again I was thoroughly impressed with how the vet techs and doctors treated my dog like she was their own. I've recommended Cathedral Animal Hospital to everyone I know and will continue to do so!

Our puppy loves this place so much he gets so excited when he realizes where he is and tries to go back inside when it’s time to to leave! ???? The staff is always lovely and helpful and we love coming here.

I have been really impressed with both Cathedral Animal Hospital and their sister business Kenton Animal Hospital. The team has been friendly, knowledgeable and really responsive. I never feel rushed and truly believe they have my cats best interest at heart.

I've been taking all 4 of my animals (2 cats, 2 dogs) to Cathedral for a little over a year now, for wellness visits and a dental. The staff is friendly and informative; they clearly explain recommended procedures/services and costs before moving forward. Most importantly, my animals are happy to go there! And I love that the business is women-owned!

First experience with Cathedral (have been going to Kenton - same owners - for 4 years now) and a vet we haven’t seen before. It is the same great service and care that I’ve had at Kenton Animal Hospital (where we’ve seen 3 different vets for both cats and each are lovely, competent, and care about our cats). Vet clinics have such challenging jobs in general, but especially during a pandemic, and I’m so impressed and grateful for the care my cats receive. They always take as much time as I need (which can be a lot) to make sure I understand the plan. They’re also responsive by email and phone and the vet techs and front desk staff are also stellar people.

We are so incredibly grateful to have found Cathedral Animal Hospital!! Every single person there--the vets, the techs, the admin team--are PHENOMENAL. Our pup has gotten so much love and care from day one, and we always feel like everyone really takes the time to address every need and concern we've had since joining the practice 18 months ago. We absolutely love this place and couldn't recommend more highly!!!

CAH is fabulous! They really love all their pet patients and make sure they’re comfortable during their visits. The vets use a variety of therapies, including herbs and laser therapy. They take such good care of my dog and I always feel like they’re doing all that they can for him. Highly recommend!!

Bellota (AKA-Bella) a Mexican street rescue is so happy to meet her new veterinarian Dr. Kelly who took super care of her owners previous dog Reno. So she’s of to a great start with Dr. Kelly! Love the new clinic! And all the great COVID 19 protocol!

I’ve moved around so much and have taken my current and past dog to SO many different veterinarians. This one is by far the most meticulous with their reports (they send message documenting each visit, it’s amazing). They send reminders about upcoming appointments and vaccines and I don’t have to worry about whether or not I missed something. They’re super friendly on top of everything else, and they have an on point COVID routine. Violet says thanks!

After having to reschedule a few times because of the closure during the snow storm, Cathedral worked with the Kenton branch to get my puppy in ASAP for her booster. They were very professional and communicative and treated my pup very well! We are happy to have such a caring and transparent veterinarian!
