Love the ability to check in on my dog with the cameras.

We boarded our sweet, high-energy dog, Bluebonnet, with Barkzone for a week over Christmas, and it went great! She was clearly well cared for and had a ton of fun playing with the pack. We will definitely be using Barkzone again!

When my fiancé and I moved to Oregon about a year ago I found BarkZone through google reviews. My dog LOVES doggy daycare here. He has the best time and the staff is so sweet with the dogs. We boarded him for the first time over Christmas and he was so happy the whole time. Plus there are cameras where you can check on your pup if you want to. Highly recommend!

BarkZone Montavilla has been a lifesaver - I’m confident that my dog is taken care of (and they have live camera feeds so I can check in to make sure he’s behaving). Great customer service and Oliver always comes home happy and exhausted

Drop off was great and they l listened to information about my dog and what I was looking for. Sweetie is very old, a little nervous and almost deaf and blind. They treated her with care, and Sweetie looked great and seemed happy when I picked her up. Checkout was quick and they gave a short report of how she did. Price was reasonable. Thank you so much! Everyone was friendly and professional.

Friendly staff, great pricing, and our dog loves it - he gets excited three blocks away.

Everyone at BarkZone are amazing!! I've only taken my pup to one other place for the first time and had a really bad experience so I decided to do my research a little more. I decided to take my pup here to get evaluated and everyone was so welcoming and patient since my dog is a little nervous around new people and other dogs. She loves going there once a week and is a tired pup afterwards! I highly recommend them!

I'm grateful for a fun and safe place for my pup to go for the day. Gus had a blast - and I know because I can check on him throughout the day via their live cams! We will be back.

Tend to not fully follow feeding instructions and some confusion with staff

My dog has been going to Barkzone in Montavilla for years for daycare and boarding and loves it. The employees are fantastic and she comes home super tired. It has been such a life saver since she is very territorial at home and struggles getting along with other dogs, so it is the only way we can get good socialization for her. At daycare, they don’t allow any home possessions so she doesn’t have anything to protect. She is truly a different doggo there! Finally, they have been very attentive to health issues and communicative when they pop up (I.e they caught a bladder infection my dog had pretty early on so it didn’t get too out of control). I never have to worry about her when she is there.

Have used BarkZone a few times now over the last few weeks and it has been going great. Easy system with quality care. The hours and location work great for me.

I boarded my Australian Shepherd here for about a week. This was my first time leaving him and wanted to make sure he wasn't going to be in a kennel 24/7 and then hate me when I came back, so I called a few places. Barkzone puts the dogs they board in the dog day care all day and only kennels them at night. They also have webcams which put my mind at ease when I was able to see him having fun with other dogs. There were some technical issues with the webcams occasionally, but other than that, it was a great experience. My dog seemed to really like the employees and seemed right at home after while. It's also pretty close to the airport. I will be coming back for sure for our next trip.

Absolutely the best daycare, boarding and grooming services in Portland. My dog has a great time and loves jumping out of the car to go play with other dogs. The webcams are fantastic. Five stats all day long.

I've taken my dog to the Beaverton and Montavilla location and was disappointed both times. He somehow came out very dirty both times and it wasn't because he was taken on walks (he wasn't there long enough). Makes me think that's just how dirty the locations are. This last time they forgot to give my dog his anxiety medication. It's not life threatening to miss the medication, but the lack of responsibility is pretty apparent. What if it was seizure or critical medication? It seems like they're understaffed or just plain forgetful. My dog has separation and social anxiety, but we've taken him to other boarding places and he's never looked so frazzled and scared when we pick him up like he has at these Barkzone locations. Each time it's taken him a few hours to act like himself and that part is really hard. Never taking my dog there again and I do not recommend bringing your pet here.

Feeling so grateful for the location and the staff at bark zone! My pup is fitting in great with all the other dogs… to think… I was hesitant to even bring him in at first :-). After the first day he came home so happy and rested, it was like I had a new dog,m. My dog having this outlet has truly helped him and our family, he is listening better at home and is so much better with the children after being social all day. They need to make a BarkZone for adults;-)

The greatest good care friendly staff thanks

This was our first time to bring our 12 year old Bichon Frise to BarkZone for grooming. The groomer was recommended by our neighbor, and we were very pleased. She was great with our dog, and we were pleased with how she groomed Zoey. We don't care for the typical Bichon look. I was pleased that the groomer listened and then groomed Zoey according to our preferences.

Teyah loves Barkzone and I love how they take care of her and love her. I also love the fact I can also watch her playing with all her doggie friends. I would recommend Barkzone 100%, they are the best!

I really wanted to like this place, I like the size of the facility and the fact that they have both indoor and outdoor areas, as well as webcams! I’ve brought my dog for boarding and both times her medications have been given incorrectly, or this past time, not given at all for 3 days. My dog is on multiple medications and her meds are in an AM/PM pillbox, I also left instructions in case anything was unclear that she gets the AM ones for that corresponding day in the morning and PM at night. I thought it was pretty self explanatory but also asked that they call me if they had any questions and when I dropped her off offered to go over it with the intake person but they saw the pillbox and said “wow thanks this makes it so easy!”. Today after picking her up, I noticed that she had not received medications since Sunday (it is Wednesday) and when I asked the employee about it she just said “wow that’s not right” and checked her reservation to make sure it said she got medication and verified it did. Don’t offer boarding services if you can’t manage the most basic parts of dog care. Thankfully my dogs medications are not for anything like seizures or heart conditions, as skipping those medications for 3 days could legitimately endanger a dog.

Heads up!! You need to have your dog evaluated before they will take them. Don’t expect to drop them off the morning of. Bring your pups vaccination records too! The place seems to do a fine job of taking care of my loud anxious spastic Aussie. He always comes home happy and tired. What else could you want?

Barkzone always does a great job with my little wiggly, high energy dog. The cut lasts a good amount of time before needing a touch up, just some baths here and there to maintain before her nails get too long! Would highly recommend their grooming services

Ive been a customer of the barkzones for nearly three years and seen the staff change and the facility improve providing the best possible care and attention to the dogs they serve giving piece of mind to all the pups parents as they hand over their four legged kids to these very attentive handlers and staff. The owner takes pride in providing safe and healthy environment for them to romp and play thru the day and it can all be witnessed live on the webcams. Each of the administrative staff have given my girl extra love and attention through a recent illness she's been battling and during the pandemic they've all been diligent to follow strict guidelines for the parents and the pets they care for keeping the zone safe and welcoming as nation fought to get back open. I applaud all of them for their diligent efforts and am so thankful i can count on them to provide a second home to my dog almost 6 days a week. We would be lost without Eric and staff and im eternally grateful. Keep up the good work! The puppies are better for having been in your very capable hands.

Our sweet boy Chuy a standard poodle loves Barkzone! He fit in with the pack right away. The staff is friendly, helpful and very good at their job. He comes home happy and exhausted. A win win, highly recommended.

They take wonderful care of my dog during grooming visits and he looks great after each appointment! A lot of appreciation for how they're able to do a good job making him look good while they would cover up his fatty tumor. Definitely recommended!

Bark zone Montivilla has always been good to my pup. They are human friendly too. With their nest cam you can check in on your dog, which is nice.

George loves hanging with his pals at BarkZone, we love how tired he comes home.
