Dr. Rachel followed up on multiple occasions over several months regarding my pet's wellbeing on a persistent illness. Really nice to have a Dr. call just to check and make sure he's doing alright ????.

Hard to get an appointment

My heart holds so much gratitude for Port Hadlock Vet. In the last 18 months I have had to say goodbye to two best friends Owen and Rubble. Rubble was a rescue dog who saved me during covid but ended up passing of cancer less than a year of his rescue, this was the hardest thing to do. The staff are so wonderful and understanding of your loss. They gave us the greatest gift of all, allowing my pups to pass on in their best way on their blanket outside under the same tree. How lucky are we to say goodbye like this? I took some dirt from the site and am growing a dogtree in honor of my dogs. The staff also went out of their way to make sure I had matching paw print material so I could frame them together. Thank you Dr. Steinmetz, Dr. Weisen for treating us with a trauma informed approach.

I've always had my two poodles taken care of very well here. I appreciate their thoroughness in explaining issues and giving us options when available. They know how important our two 4 legged girls are to us and treat them with kindness, compassion and love.

The vetenary and staff were absolutely so efficient and caring going beyond what would be expected in a single visit.Very reasonable rates.I would highly recommend to care for anyone's beloved pet????

Above and beyond the call of vet - these folks have an extraordinary combination of skills and intention. This was a delightful departure from other vets we've seen in the area. Highly recommend! ????????????????

Great place. Dr. Strohmeyer is absolutely wonderful. My anxiety ridden dog loves Dr. Strohmeyer and I don't have to worry about her when she is in her care

Great other than requiring an annual check up at the original price. 150 to 180 annually seems unreasonable.

We take our dog here and he absolutely loves all the ladies that work here. When our chicken developed respiratory issues and an odd growth near her sinus, we had trouble finding someone that was willing to work on her. Melissa Steinmetz, one of the vets here, agreed to see her. She was EXTREMELY helpful, kept in regular contact with us, and overall went above and beyond in helping us with her. I know it is a little unconventional to go to such extremes for a chicken, but Melissa seemed to fully understand how much we cared about Pepper and how concerned we were about the situation. We are so appreciative of her and everything she did for us. Thank you Hadlock vet!

Everyone here is awesome. Their people and furry family skills are on-point. Even with Covid limitations in place visits are pretty quick. Since moving to the peninsula they're the only place I'll take our pets.

They really seem to enjoy what they do and take very good care of your precious pet. We were quite impressed with Dr Rachael Strohmeyer from the very first time we met her she has taken care of our miniature schnauzer pup Jaxson as if it were her own

yesterday i took my Lab to Hadlock Veterinary Clinic Dr.Reed and his staff were kind and caring and helped Nic on his way over the Rainbow bridge all i can say is thank you for the people you all are im so greatfull to know there are people like all of you in this world

The doctors & staff are wonderful! They are so good with the animals - they are gentle and kind. They also explain medical issues clearly and patiently.

My dog has gotten fleas multiple times there. They don’t communicate clearly with customers and in general have a sketchy business. They also have dropped the price after I called them out for overcharging me multiple times.

Working here so perhaps a bit biased...but the very best vets and technicians in the area! Always placing the pet first. Very caring people with big hearts.

Despite the COVID-19 challenges, the meet and greet at my auto was seamless. My car was cared for with gentle care and consideration. I really appreciate the professionalism of the team!
