I've been to other VCAs around the country and have always preferred to use them. I was just calling this one to ask about introducing a diet change for my dog, not only was I cut off mid sentence, the person I was talking to said feeding my dog whole foods (chicken, veggies, eggs) with kibble was a bad idea. She said using kibble and wet food is the best thing for my dog. Which in my opinion isn't ideal for any animal. Obviously this person is doing what they think is the right thing, and that also lines up with a lot of other peoples beliefs. I just wanted to share my experience so people with the same ideas as I have for my dog, stay clear of here and are able to get actual help and advice. Gave 3 stars because I've only had one brief encounter with someone who answered the phone! But they sounded confident and kind of scoffed at the question so I assume the vet on duty tells them to say that.

They are amazing. They were non judgement about the fact it took me a whole while to bring my furkiddes up to date with shots and making sure they were safe and well taken care of. They even had the patience to go through mixed medical papers I had from previous vet to make sure my furbabies were getting the right shots and whatever they needed done that was due.. My furkiddies are a handful but the workers worked hard to reassure me they were in good hands. Thank you to them for their hard work, patience, and being so helpful

Usually I get really great service. Had a new doctor this time and she didn't do very great. She was nice but my dogs cyst still has stuff in it which she told me it didn't. Wish she would've been more thorough as that material inside can cause another cyst.

Staff are friendly and helpful. They always get us in and out. My dog loves going to get care here, they treat him well.

Very pleased with both visits. The 6 1/2 year old Yorkshire Terrier we are so blessed to have acquired a couple weeks ago has a number of medical issues that are common for Yorkies. Dr Braun is very thorough and takes time to explain everything. So pleased. We have a number of visits coming and know we are going to have great results to help our precious sweet Chloe.

I have never been here but I had set up an appointment and was not able to make it to it. I told them I was not going to make it, and before I could even tell them I wanted to reschedule they hung up on me. Im giving two stars because I only had that one experience, but that was enough for me to decide to go somewhere else.

This is the only place I’ll take my cat. Kieta got excellent care there. They actually listen to your concerns and try numerous things to help out your animals. They’re up front about the cost and provide you with cheaper options as well. The only vet I’ve been to that seems to listen to me about my animals.

This review is a bit late, but when our dog was bleeding severely crying and coughing up blood and it was no exaggeration to say he was on his way to death. Even though we didn't have a whole lot of money they did help, if it wasn't for this place that dog I have at home would be dead.

The vet and staff are really caring

I had to put my beloved Lucy down on Tuesday and on the hardest day of my life, they made it as peaceful and loving as possible. I will never forget the compassion I received. Sincerely, thank you for your tremendous service and going above and beyond for me and my baby girl. You gave me the comfort I needed on such a painful day.

Always super friendly and help full. The veterinarians really help with solutions to fixing your dog and will help you through their issues. Our lab has had ear infections for years and previous vets seem to only fix it for a few weeks. After coming here, going through treatments and finding the correct solutions, our lab went a whole year before having any issues.

Great group of professionals. You can trust your pets are getting the best care. Thank you.

I would not suggest this vet as a primary vet if you love your pets. Staff are not very helpful or kind in dealing with different situations, they told me my dog would have to be put down or her leg amputated, after they put the brace on wrong. I took her somewhere else and she's healthy and a happy four legged friend. I will not go back.

They were very good with my dog and called to check on him.

Doctor's are very pushy on unnecessary treatments that cost a small fortune.

Tanglewilde VCA ROCKS IT!!!, the staff are so upbeat and treat your pet as if it were their own. We have been through some really serious illnesses over the years with our animals and Tanglewilde always takes the time to listen to your concerns, and takes immediate action when needed. Once my Yorkie had ingested some anti freeze, Dr. Moss was on it!! Even though the facility didn't have a test they needed called a vet down the street and they offered to run the test for her, which came back positive. Dr. Moss was already on the phone with Bluepearl Specialty in Renton getting everything prepared for mine and Teddy's arrival. Dr. Moss's expertise and speedy actions saved Teddy's Life. Natasha the receptionist, she is totally awesome - recognizes my voice on the phone and is always a pleasure to talk to. The techs are wonderful too ;-) Again, they treat your animals (who are part of the family) just as if they were theirs. We have been with VCA Tangelwilde for over 25 years and never have been disappointed with the treatment my furry family has gotten!! Very positive people, willing to help on a budget.

Use to take all 3 of our dogs here...then they started caring more about the money then the animals. Transferred to another place and in 1 visit made my choice to stay with the new place. The veterinarian could never tell me what my dog had (licking till they bleed and then some) always sold me expensive pills, expensive lotion, expensive shampoos etc...in ONE visit to the new vet they were able to tell me exactly what he had and gave me every option that could work on both price ranges. Best decision I've ever made. You made a choice to have a career to help animals...when you start focusing on the money, you lose sight of the importance of what you should be doing!
