Healthy Pets Animal Hospital has been seeing our animals for many years and we are beyond impressed by the care, attention to detail and professionalism of this amazing group of humans. From in house Vets to visiting Docs, we have nothing but the best in the way of care for our dog and cat family. Having experienced a number of veterinary services in multiple states and here in Washington, our family can say with absolutely certainty the Healthy Pets Team stands out from the rest in every way. We have and will continue to deeply appreciate their skills, abilities, expertise and bedside manor for many years to come.

Healthy Pets vets and staff truly care about my dogs. Their responses have repeatedly been insightful and thoughtful. Seven of our dogs have benefited from their compassion support to live long, healthy lives.

After calling veterinary hospitals for 3 hours to get our dogs eye infection seen we finally got an appointment at healthy pets. They had us in and out quickly, were patient and kind with my big scaredy cat dog, went with the easy fix first rather than pad the bill with unnecessary tests like other places, and had a reasonable bill. To top it off, they take care credit, so unexpected issues aren't more stressful than they need to be. My husband and I agree- Jo has a new permanent vet! This place is great!

Can't rave enough about this place. Everyone is incredible. Our Danes and I have had positive experiences especially with their knowledge of XL breeds!

Very poor customer service. Recently went to drop off a stool sample for my dog. My wife had called when they opened to confirm what we needed to do. They neglected to inform her that they would be closed from 0900 - 1100 for a meeting. Drove all the out there only to have to turn around and come back. When I brought this to the receptionist's attention her only response was, "oh..." before returning to her private conversation with her co-worker while taking my money. I'm starting to question the reliability of their veterinary staff as well. My dog has been dealing with this issue for awhile and every time we bring her in the response is, "we don't know". You would think their job is to find out.

Staff is nice and my dog was seen right away for her appointment. She is 10yrs old and I've had her since she was 7wks and the friendliness and compassion shown for her has never changed.

Healthy Pets Animal Hospital is hands down the best veterinary clinic in the Thurston County area. I have been going to them for all of my pets needs for over 8yrs and every procedure has been the perfect combination of timely and absolutely professional. All of my questions have always been answered and then some. This most recent procedure my (very tenacious and wild) kitten was absolutely losing his mind after his neutering and just would not calm down and I began to panic about it and the front desk, techs and Veterinarian alike answered my questions, responded to my emails and prescribed further medication as needed to help both me and my little guy sleep better at night and handle this situation better and more comfortably. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and with my next check plan on buying them baked goods and flowers. I love Healthy Pets. Have I convinced you yet?

I am fortunate to have been referred to Healthy Pets Animal Hospital. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and realistic. While they do their best for their patients. Getting them in to be seen within reasonable timeframes, diagnosing problems, and getting them back to their best life. I would recommend them to anyone.

We’ve been taking our older dog Dexter & the kittens to this vet for years and I’ve never been disappointed or uncomfortable leaving my pets in their care. Nothing but hard working staff who truly care about your pets health. Today I took my puppy for her first appointment and gained so much information from healthy recommendations for food followed with a demonstration on cutting puppy nails. Thank you for everything, my pets truly appreciate you ❤️

Was able to make appointment within 2 business days. Pet owner's are not allowed inside. Veterinarian came out to discuss the health of my new dog. She answered all my questions and went over treatment plan. Have already recommended them to a friend!

The Doctors love cats and know them very well. They learn how to comfort them, and they know their stuff. My 2 cats were so calm I had to wonder who they were for a moment, ha! Both had shots and were not angry at me at all, I am used to grudges, and growls, but they were calm and relaxed the rest of the day.

They go above and beyond to get your pet in asap, truly seem to care about animals, are kind and empathetic to stressed pet owners and don't try to squeeze you for extra money. They actually have gone out of their way to *not* charge me extra. I don't know what else you could ask for in a Veterinarian!

I've always had a good experience here and they're not terribly expensive. Appointments aren't booked out for months so its pretty easy to get in within a week or two.

My dad passed away a few month ago and about 5 days ago we noticed a lump his doggies neck/jaw area. Took her in Thursday and was told she had a abscess. Was told it was lanced and payed $91 for a shot of a antibiotic and that it should drain for the next 2 days. It stopped draining after a few hours, called the vet and was told to stick a wet q-tip into the hole and if it didn't start draining again to bring her back the next day. I couldn't stomach doing that so I had had my man look at it that night (he's dealt with abscesses on our cats multiple times) he said he couldn't see the lanced site and didn't want keep messing with it causing her more pain! So take her back the next day told them they needed to shave the site more (her hair is about 2" long) so we can see to keep it clean. Vet came out and said our dog is a fast healer and that it took her over 5 minutes to find where she lanced it and she made a new lanced site where most of the draining is needed. It's a 30-40 minute drive straight home, looked at the site NO DRAINING! Have my man look at her again and he can see a visible site and begins draining it. He said what he wanted to come out didn't (infection ooze) what he got was 3 almost 4 paper towels of blood and that the surrounding area felt hard. Called the vet voiced our concerns and was told not to worry about the hard stuff and that it should start going away due to her antibiotic shot. Day 3 (a Saturday) she stops eating and she hasn't wanted to drink water this whole time. So call the vet back told them she's worse today then she has been, receptionist went to talk to the vet but she just walked into an appointment and that they'd call me back after they talk to her. No call and they are closed on Sundays! Today (Monday) our small town vet fit her into their full schedule. Had her in there for about 5-10 minutes, vet comes out saying it's really bad! Showed us the fluid he removed with the needle and that the previous vet should've surgically removed all that dead tissue due to it being a salvatory glad abscess! Apparently after these get bad enough they can reacur! So now she's had surgery and we can only hope it dosen't reacur be if it does she'll need to have a specialist do a different surgery! Spent over $200 for them to dismiss our concerns and not even take proper care of her health! Called today and told the receptionist all this and that I don't want someone else fur baby to go through what we just had to go through! She said she'll address it to the manager and that they might want to talk to me later. I didn't go to vet school so I depend on them to actually take the time to care for my pets! Don't just do the minimum so can just get to the next appointment! If your pet has an abscess around their face/neck area don't let them treat it as a normal abscess (lance and drain) they apparently need extra care/work (remove ALL dead tissue and cleaned).

They never cease to accommodate my two Frenchies. They almost always get one or both boys in quickly, whether it's for an urgent visit or they need shots, or something looked at. They are informative, kind, and treat both my boys with love. I appreciate them so much!

Very disappointed with this clinic. I've been a customer for years and didn't used to have issues. Things have changed. I had a dying cat ????, couldn't walk, eat, drink, and bad diarrhea. Knocking on deaths door. He just needed antibiotics immediately. This clinic would not see him for two weeks minimum. They are the gatekeepers of a life saving drug and refused to see him. All emergency hospitals were full (even walk ins). The told me "ahhh, so sorry" in a sweet voice...... luckily a more ethical vet decided to not let my cat die after a huge logistical headache, even though I wasn't an existing customer. I also have a dog who needs incontinence pills. They were sold to me as being perfectly safe, no worries. They also mark up their medications 400% compared to online. They take a long time and jerk you around to do online approvals, seemingly trying to make your life hard for not being their wildly over priced medications. Now they force me to come in yearly to reapprove this 'safe' drug, and tell me I should be doing full blood panels to make sure the drug isn't harming her. ???? Then top it off with crazy mask/distancing policies. Which at this point is going against CDCs formal reccomendations.

I took my dog here for a check up, and had blood work and xrays run. I understand that because of Covid, I wasn't able to be in the office with him during the exam, but I expected to have some communication regarding the exam/results. What I got was nothing, until I reached out to inquire. Lack of communication. I was responded to with an email, suggesting medications and possible further exams. I responded again, saying I would like to continue with the medications prescribed. Again, silence. After days, I called. Only then, were my prescriptions filled, but when I went to the pharmacy to pick them up, I was informed that they had not been called in, and blame was put on the pharmacy. Again, I had to reach out to get the scripts sent to the pharmacy. Lack of accountability. What irked me the most, was that I paid them no small amount of money for check up and tests, and did not feel as though I received proper care, attention or communication. About a week later, my dog fell ill and needed to be taken to the emergency room, and Olympia Veterinarian Specialists. OVS immediately offered me more concern, help and clear and open communication about how to proceed with my pet. Lack of attention and concern. I was recommended Healthy Pets by a friend, who has also since retracted his recommendation due to his own poor experience. I do not recommend Healthy Pets to any pet owner who is looking to have their pet treated with care and attention. Go elsewhere.

We switched from another clinic near South Bay a few years ago and we are so grateful we did! We bring all three cats here and have not experienced any problems, pice gouging, or unnecessary appointments. The cats are as relaxed as they can be when visiting the vet. The prices are also lower than our old clinic’s. There is no problem scheduling a convenient appointment time and the clinic is usually running on schedule when we arrive. If you are looking for a new vet, switch now! You will be glad you did.

We love Dr. Natalie at Oly Pets. Her caring interest is genuine and thorough. Our kitty loves her non-threatening presence. Plus, during this time of COVID, they really have down a fabulously efficient system. Well Done!
