My Shih Tzu received very good care and concern. No problems there. The office is only open on 3 days I believe and it took quite a while to get an appointment. Then they couldn’t find the appointment. Arrived at 8:15 for a drop off appointment and promptly called to let them know we were there. Had to call a second time at 8:52 to see if they had forgotten about him waiting for the nurse to check him in. Did not get a call to pick him up until after 3pm. The bill for services was much higher than the treatment plan and they refused to consider allowing half paid on 12/22 when I picked up my dog and the other half in just one week on next payday. Almost $600 and I took him there for a cough/hacking to see if he had anything stuck in his throat. That would have been okay saints she said they don’t offer payment plans (even though I inquired about a period of 9 days to pay the remainder). However … the male customer that came in just after me was told “go ahead and write a check. We won’t be going to the bank to deposit until next Thursday so there would be any worry of the check cashing before you get paid”. Wow. Really? So you provide him a way to extend payment until next Thursday and I was denied any leeway to pay half now and half next Friday. That was a very interesting exchange. And yes I was appalled at the random application of their policy. I’ve been going to this vet since 2013. This is the only vet I’ve taken my furry friends to but they are pricing me out of being a customer. This was always such a good vet place but I won’t be returning after experiencing that unbelievable experience

Have been going there for over 40 years. I have had both good and poor experiences there. I miss the face to face conversation with both office people and the vets, but I do understand.

I am always so impressed with the care that my fur baby receives at Apple Tree. They treat her like the princess she is and treat me with kindness too. Worth every penny. The tech is professional and competent. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you

They were able to get my puppy in promptly for current shots, and were very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions as a first time puppy owner.

We've been very pleased with the service and care at Apple Tree. You can tell everyone there actually cares. The communicating is also wonderful. We are grateful to be on their service.

We have been long time customers of Apple Tree Cove and for the last two visits we have been told that the checkup for our border collie included a urine analysis. We were charged for this service, but then told they were unable to get a sample at the visit and sent us home with a cup for us - at home - to get a sample and return it for analysis. How do you get a urine sample for a dog peeing in the yard? We would rather be told this part of the test could not occur and not be charged for it, than be given this responsibility for a function that should have been completed at the vet.

They really care about their patients and clients. Always keep it real and never try to push costly unneeded meds or treatments.

I recently adopted my Rag doll cat in October, the foster mom who I got her was taking her there didn’t want to change since it she was already established there. I continued picking up her flea medicine she’s on Revolution. I recently called to schedule an appointment for a wellness exam, microchip, nails trimmed, sanitary trim & blood work to make sure everything is ok. It was hard for me not to be there with her but totally understand with the covid. They were excellent with all my questions and the vet called me back to go over everything that went down that same day. Chunk was pretty good for the most part I can’t imagine trimming cat nails and trimming up her rear was easy. Im so happy my Chunk was in excellent hands and we will definitely be back again. Thank you all staff and vets for taking such good care of my baby

I have been at apple tree cove for over 5 years and am extremely disappointed with the care I received during the pandemic. I have two cats who need their next round of shots. One of which has extreme anxiety (noted in their file) to where if I even move the furniture around in my house she gets an eye infection this is from having cat herpes. They wanted me to do a curb side drop off for both my cats for their shots and for the one cat that wouldn’t work. They said they aren’t making any exceptions at this time and the woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that there have been plenty of other animals who have server anxiety who have done just fine. I’ve had my cat for 6 years I know her better than anyone else and this method of drop off wouldn’t work. I never got a phone call back to find out if they would make an exception for my cat until the day of asking if I’d be there for my appointment. I ended up calling other local vets who also have Covid policy’s BUT they were ALL willing to make an exception for my cat with documented herpes for me to go into her appointment with her. It’s too bad that I’ve been going to Apple Tree Cove for over 5 years and they weren’t willing to take care of the situation even with documentation of my anxious cat. If you want yourself and your pet to be taken care of I do not recommend Apple Tree Cove.

I was able to get my pug in early the next day after I called and they were right on time, very courteous, and handled my dog with extreme care. I went to them on a number of recommendations from friends and family and was happy I chose this establishment.

While I fully understand Covid precautions have made visits more complex, I was very dissatisfied with the front office and the total visit experience. 1. On time arrival but waited near 20 minutes to have pet picked up from car. 2. Routine visit took over 90 minutes. 3. Pet was given prescriptions but person delivering RX to vehicle knows nothing about the drugs, and total lack of medical knowledge when questioned puts our pet at risk. 4. Have zero idea where or how pet was treated. “Normally” if waiting for treatment or consultation you sit with your pet. A stressed pet waiting in a cage is likely what occurs. 5. All discussion with Doctor occurs by cell phone from your car with poor cell coverage. Conversation was poor and key messaging was cryptic and short. If your staff can come out, so can you. 6. Front office clearly disorganized. Called me twice to ask identical questions. Took forever to pay and get out. The Vet “sounds” completely competent but never get to see or meet him. Completely unreasonable. Even dentists see you with PPE. This extreme level of precaution creates client problems. Get your front office organized. Consider the customer experience and the pet experience vs purely your own desires.

Incredibly friendly (and patient with me) staff. Easy to make an appointment. They all very clearly have my Beagles best interest at heart. Dr. Sutton, all the docs and staff are so patient, through and just great to work with. Very welcoming and caring ❤

We took our two dogs in to see Dr. Sutton on the recommendation of a friend, and have got to say that this was one of the most pleasant vet visits we’ve had. As travelers we don’t often see such great care on the road and this staff was just amazing in professionalism, friendliness, and overall treatment. Dr. Sutton listened to ALL of our concerns and kept a clear head even though we bombarded him with questions. He recommended proper treatment, prevention, and solutions to our pet’s health issues. Overall, we found Dr. Sutton to be intelligent and knowledgeable on our specific concerns, and we left feeling satisfied that our concerns were addressed and our voices heard. We will definitely be seeing Dr. Sutton the next time we are in town!

Such great staff... The vet was so interested in talking details with us. Not rushing to next patient... such a relief from other places we have been.

Very easy to make an appointment online. Very thorough wellness exam. I trusted that they had the best interest of both my cat and myself at heart. The fact that they accept Care Ceedit is also awesome.

No one contacted me the day before with her blood work results as I was told I would be and then the next day, I was told to bring her in at 8:15 (twice) and no one got to me until 8:50. Ruth was kind and took the time to speak with me but then at 11:30 I was told that my cat had irregular heart beats. She hadn't even had her procedure yet. At 3:30 I still hadn't heard and needed to call. They had an emergency. I understand that, but I was very reluctant to have her looked at any further. She was but only because I need to know if she has cancer or not. Blood work was finally emailed but not explained. My faith is shaken
