Cedar Plaza Veterinary Clinic Mountlake Terrace, Washington

A bit disorganized, we called at around noon and the receptionist didn’t sound like she liked her job very much. She took our info and we paid the deposit so we could secure an appointment at 6:30pm. At 6:15pm the receptionist called us and asked what our cat’s name was again. She also told us that we weren’t on the schedule but that they see the deposit and that we can still come in. We said okay, perfect, we are getting in the car now see you soon. 2 minutes later, we get another call and we were told the same exact thing, that we weren’t on the schedule but that they’ll see us soon. We were like uhh okay that’s kinda weird… 1 minute later, another call, we didn’t answer because we were driving there. After our appointment I listened to the voicemail of the 3rd call and they wanted us to go to their sister vet in lynnwood on 164th! When we were already on our way to their office. I’m glad I didn’t answer and that we just showed up because there’s no way I would’ve turned around and went the opposite direction to a different vet because of their mess up. Lol. We show up and everything went ok, our cat was in and out, the lady bringing her out only brought out one of her medications and I had to ask for the second one and she had no idea what I was talking about even though the vet had just told us what she was giving us. Seems like there’s a lack of communication within the office and between receptionists. I would see them again though.

If you're looking for a good vet it's them. I've been to a lot of different vets and they are the best vet I've been too by far. They have saved two of my fur babies with surgeries as well as doing routine check ups. They really care about the animals and it shows. I will be a customer at this vet for a long time.

I was really disappointed here. My cat suffers from seasonal allergies, I took him in for his first visit and asked if they could order a medication he's been using for years. After first trying to direct me to a specialist (which he doesn't need, he's already had allergy testing done, just needed a refill), they agreed to refill the prescription if I could provide the prescription from his old vet. After several phone calls between the two, they finally got it. They then said they would call me back with the pricing before they placed the order, since I would need to prepay. They didn't call back. I called back two more times, the last time being promised a call back by the end of the day, which never came. I called again today and was told they had several emergencies and wouldn't be able to help right away. It's been 5 weeks since my cat's original appointment, and at no point did they ever initiate a call to me to resolve this. My cat has been suffering for 5 weeks because they couldn't manage to follow through. I won't be back.

Dr. Pal is the most compassionate, kind and knowledgeable vet my husband and I have ever had . It’s so obvious that he cares about animals, you can see it in his treatment, when we have brought "Black Jack" and "Sasha" in. He talks to them, pets them, puts them at ease as well as us. "Black Jack" has had (3) cancer surgeries that Dr. Pal completed in his life and were successful. Dr. Pal took care of "Black Jack" when he couldn't walk and we were so scared, but he never gave up. Dr. Pal sat on the floor while he examined him then continued to sit there with "Black Jack" in his lap, comforting and petting him while he spoke with us about treatment options. He always gave the same treatment and love to "Sasha". That spoke VOLUMES to us about his deep compassion for our four-legged friends. Dr. Niki saw "Black Jack" and "Sasha" and was always very kind and professional with our animals. The staff at Cedar Plaza are helpful, "Sherry" is the BEST! and also very kind from the moment we enter to the moment we leave and their prices are so reasonable. I know our dogs are getting quality care and I’m not over-paying for it. I’ve recommended many friends to Cedar Plaza and will continue to do so. All pets deserve the best possible care and I know our dogs are getting it with Dr. Pal

Medical negligence that will kill your pet, and they will gaslight you about it and be very rude. DO NOT go here.

I took my cat here for recurring skin problems (licking her fur off to the point of scabbing) that has been happening the last few years. We were lucky enough to see Dr. Pettet who actually took the time to get my fur baby the care she needed, instead of the previous vets who would rush to give her steroids and send us on our way with no treatment plan. Tonya was able to help us find a medication that works and doesn't require any more steroid treatments. She (as well as the techs) were very gentle and kind with my cat. I would come back in a heartbeat.

This vet will disregard your concerns until they can charge you for them. When calling around to other Veterinarian offices, most have stated other pet owners having issues with this place. I should’ve done more research before hand. Stay away. You have been warned!

They seem to really care for your animals ...

It was my first time to a vet, with my brand new kitten. I was needing to get her rabies shots. They didn’t welcome me, or tell me what to expect for the visit. They kept asking me for vaccine proof and medical records, when she is only 10 weeks old and never been to a vet. The technician wasn’t friendly and just took her out of my hands and said “we will bring her back once we are done.” Not very impressed.

This veterinary clinic has been really great, we got a new puppy during covid like a lot of people and I just went into the clinic for the first time last week after many parking lot appointments. I'm grateful to have found a vet that is honest and reliable. Staff is super nice.

The vets are kind and thorough. I have been going here for over 30 years.

Went for a vaccine booster and spay estimate. Technician was very unprofessional. Found out after the shot was administered that they mixed up the vaccine and had the wrong file. I told the technician several times the manner of my dog but obviously was not paying attention and the doctor did not look at the tag to confirm. We no longer trust this facility for services.

My cat had an abscess on his face and they were able to get him in same day and get him taken care of. They even called the next day to see how he was doing. Great service and will be going back

They always get my animals seen in a timely manner, and they are great at clarifying what they're doing if my pets need any kind of treatment. I have one dog and one cat, and both of them love visiting the vet because the great Cedar Plaza Vet staff!

Thoughtful vets and assistants. Always calls the next day to make sure your pet is doing ok. Everything is explained thoroughly. Prices are reasonable.

I've had 3 dogs now with Cedar Plaza Vet Clinic, I find their prices fair and they are transparent with costs allowing you to choose recommended services. Staff is always friendly and sympathetic.

They were very kind and compassionate staff. They helped me with my cat who passed away on the way there . They went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you for all that you do. I had to come back this month to bring the daughter of the cat that passed away because she passed away on Christmas eve, and one again they Exceeded my Expectations. I would recommend them to anyone . They charge $90 dollars, and you get a Commemorative Paw print of your Lost Pet. Keep up the good work. I take comfort that my cat is taken care of by the best staff.????

We've been taking our cats to these folks for almost 20 years. Their pricing can be a tad high but very competitive, they're always compassionate, competent, accommodating and friendly.

I've been coming here for years with all my pets (4 cats and a dog). They're reliable and usually have availability for next day appts. The staff educate well about pet care and other things that may help. The only down side is they've continued to get more expensive, $45 now for a clinic visit which isn't as competitive as it used to be ($40 a few months ago and $35 a year or two ago). I also wasn't super pleased when I saw them last as they (only a vet tech) was a bit rough with my older cat. Despite the interaction, they're still my favorite vet and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The vet we saw (a blonde woman) was absolutely fantastic! Very empathetic, sweet and well spoken. They also have a male vet who is also excellent and professional.

Very kind towards pets and take good care of pets as well.
