I bring my two dogs and my three cats to Briar Vets, but today I needed to bring my small hamster to be euthanized sadly. I called so many exotic pets hospitals and no one could fit me in and my poor little guy was suffering. But Briar Vets stepped out of their comfort zone (they don’t normally see small animals like hamsters) to hold my daughter and I with kindness and thoughtfulness and helped my daughter’s little hamster buddy pass over the rainbow bridge. They were amazingly gentle and thoughtful and I’m so glad all of my pets are in their care.

My cat Hank is getting older and every once in a while exhibits some scary behavior…with covid, staffing shortages, and holiday it’s been nearly impossible to even get him seen at an ER. Every time I’ve needed Hank to be seen they always accommodate and get him in with 24-48 hours. I couldn’t be more thankful with the Reliability brier has shown my cat and me as a customer. Forever thankful for the amazing staff and this clinic and the dedication they show to long term patients!

It's been interesting. Like a lot of people, we got a COVID puppy. He is now two years old. This is the first time I have met one of the vets in person. Previously, my dog went in with an assistant, came out with an assistant and then I got a call from the Vet. This is the first time I met with one of the vets in person and I really liked her. I mentioned a study I had read and she was familiar with the study and discussed it in detail. Then, instead of trying to convince me what to do, gave me recommendations and options with no pressure.

Edit: I used to give this place 5 stars and recommend to everyone. Not anymore. Since the new ownership, things have changed. It’s harder than ever to get an appointment. From a nail trim to a wellness visit to an emergent eye infection- expect at least 3-4 weeks wait for an opening. For the cat with an eye infection, they recommended a walk in clinic in Kirkland. There’s 5 vets at this clinic so I’m surprised the scheduling is so problematic. I understand pandemic staffing shortages and problems but When I do come for an appointment and call to check in, they have forgotten I was there 3 separate appointments in a row. I can forgive a mistake here and there, but this is clearly a habit and off putting. I’ve also left my contact information with whoever answers the phone to be given a call back and never received it. Also, the patient records are all messed up and no one bothers to fix them no matter how many times I have asked it to be fixed. The vets are very nice to the animals and I’ve continue to receive good care for my animals (once they’re actually seen) and that’s the only reason I continue to like this place. I hope the front end gets their act together and the new owners find ways to make scheduling easier. I constantly recommend this practice to my friends and family for all their pet needs. They have been great with my old lady cat that we had to pass along to the next life and are very easy to schedule and work with. You can tell that they care about your animal and treat them as family as well.

My dogs have been coming there for years and have always received the greatest care. Even during and after changed ownership they still provide top notch care. The vet techs and the Dr.s have always been helpful and kind and very patient with me when explaining things on the phone. I tend to talk a lot and have many questions and they're always gracious. ; ) My dogs receive excellent and thorough care and I trust them completely. I highly recommend them!

I want to 1st start off and say the staff are so attentive. They keep tabs on my dog and remembers our names as we are walking in the door. The front office staff are so warm & welcoming! The vet & the vet techs are always explaining any trouble areas or if there was an issue, so caring! Love the location and all the staff.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I definitely felt like our dog was in good, capable hands when they took him inside for his appointment.

Everyone here was very kind and considerate. They took whatever time my cats needed and even seemed to genuinely care about them. Most vets focus on dogs and cats always seem like an after thought, but I didn't feel that way here.

This is our third year with Brier. Very professional, courteous, kind. During the pandemic and beyond Brier has never faulted and kept everything seamless. I have now moved to Marysville but make the drive. Great place, check them out!

My french bulldog was stung by something, her muzzle, eye, and face began swelling rapidly. I called Brier Veterinary right away, the front desk staff was very responsive, asking the vet staff if she could been seen immediately. I was told to come right over due to the severity of the situation with a brachiocephalic breed which can be so scary. The support staff came out right away to take Maddy to be seen. Dr. Marzullo came out moments later to offer a treatment recommendation in a very professional and caring way. My pet was treated quickly and the swelling subsided immediately. I wanted to THANK the Brier team for being so great and ensuring Maddy was cared for so efficiently, also for being willing to fit her in during these Super Busy times! You were there when our family needed you the most!

Absolutely adore all the staff I've met. They were great with my dog who can be skiddish. Easy to get in touch with and scheduling an appointment was very easy. Pretty close to my house as well. Was recommended to me by a dog groomer a hundred miles away. Definitely her new primary veterinarian. The veterinarian herself was a delight, very upbeat and good energy and super understanding when my pup was "stiff legged" and nervous.

I made an appointment an was early. The tech was a few minutes late coming out to get my pet. When I asked about how long to expect to wait she told me about 30 minutes and asked if I had time. I said sure and responded to her one and only question about my pet, how is he today. I said fine. She took him inside and moments later he was brought back out by different staff. The second staff asked what the issue was and I was confused. The second staff was told I didn’t have time for the appointment and that I didn’t offer enough information about my pet . I was in shock about what I was being told since I wasn’t asked any more screening questions. There was no help offered and time was wasted. I did ask to speak with an office manager and got the same person who brought the pet to me. I am dishearten and not quite sure why I wasn’t eligible for their services.

If I could give more than five stars I would. We are in the process of traveling from Florida to Canada and one of our senior dogs became ill. We called around to many vet offices including emergency facilities trying to get him a same day appointment and were met with 13 in total "Sorry we can't help today, we're booked out for 2+ weeks. But golly he really should be seen today!" 1 "You can bring him in but he's going to sit in a cage for 6 hours before we even look at him" (that was one of the EMERGENCY FACILITIES!!!!) and 1 "We will call you back once the doctor comes in and see if we can squeeze him in!". Brier Veterinary Hospital were the only ones to try to help our little guy! They were so professional, kind and caring. Paris was so sweet and genuinely concerned about our dog and she is the one who vouched for his need to be seen. I am a former vet tech myself and currently work in human healthcare. I was completely baffled at the amount of offices that turned us away whereas any facility I had worked in previously would have simply fit him in between scheduled appointments which is exactly what Dr. Tomlinson did. We are so thankful that the team was able to help our dog as he ended up having pancreatitis. The Dr called us and detailed exactly what was going on with our boy as well as what the treatments would be in a clear and concise manner. When we picked him up the Vet tech (forgive me, I was so excited to see my pup I didn't catch the lovely young lady's name!) was awesome at explaining everything we needed to do to get him healthy. All pricing was EXTREMELY fair as well. I feel in my heart this is a hospital who truly cares for your pet from start to finish. If I were to be staying in this area I would hands down be bringing all of my pets to this facility although I did tell my family member who lives here how wonderful they are! I would highly recommend this office and it's staff to anyone needing a veterinary hospital that exudes all of the tenets of what healthcare should be.

I’m so happy to have found this vet! I’ve been to several over the years with different dogs and this one had great service, didn’t over charge, great estimates, and really a great visit. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat!

They take great care of my miniature dachshund! Both times that I have taken her in they have communicated everything well. I told them I had to be careful with my budget and they gave plenty of options that still allowed me to take good care of my puppy. Their prices are reasonable and they don't require you to come in unnecessarily like some other vet places I know of. I highly recommend!

Staff was wonderful. I liked the vets. They cared for our diabetic yellow Labrador Ollie Dalton since 2017. Ollie died May 7th. We have received condolences from the crematorium. And a BEAUTIFUL floral arrangement from CHEWY where we purchased Ollie's insulin and prescription diet. How COLD HEARTED Brier Veterinary. Ollie's cremains were SENT to Brier Vet for us to collect. I am deeply. hurt they never acknowledged her passing SHAME on Brier Vet. "We love your pet as long as we make a buck" should be their motto. Sharon and Terry.Dalton

Took my doodle there requesting they contact me before they decided she needed labs as they could have done a catch test which is not as pricey and they did with her previously. Ended up paying the bill for labs that were unnecessary and had to call 5x over 6 days for the doctor to finally speak with me. I was under the impression that she needed labs as they may have found something more serious with her and that would have been fine but rather made me feel as though they are just in the business for the $. Maybe this is just my experience but I truly hope no one else gets this treatment.

I have been a long time customer of this practice. I called to make an appointment to get shots for my puppy and a nail trim. I was told my appointment was on a certain day and time that I asked for. Then the morning of I called and they said that I’m not on the schedule and it’s like they didn’t even apologize didn’t even care didn’t even show anything. Didn’t even take responsibility of the mistake that was made. I then asked for a manager who I finally spoke to. I was brushed off and I was told that it was OK when I said I’m just gonna look around for another vet from now on. No responsibility no accountability. I personally will not be coming back to this place. It sure would be nice for upper management to reach out to me because this is something that should be handled

Our first pup wheeler had been cared for by brier vet from his very first vaccinations. It is ten years later and Last night we had to say goodbye to our once in a lifetime Dog. He’d gotten very ill very rapidly and brier vet was by our side and most importantly his side through it all. Every team member there has been truly amazing. Mid day yesterday we received the news that wheeler would likely not make it through the night. We tried reaching everyone we could find to help with in home euthanasia because he was very uncomfortable and you know the look when you receive it. No luck so we began looking into bringing him into 24 hr vet. Deborah Carlson, one of wheelers doctors understood wheelers anxiety and offered to provide the in home euthanasia for us in Marysville that same evening. We will forever remember the sad yet beautiful moment of helping our old boy find peace. Thank you to all you that showed wheeler the compassion and patience he so well deserved. ThankYou for all the years of service. we will continue to trust you to care for all of our family pets

The entire Brier staff is efficient and kind, but Dr. Cawthra in particular is truly a credit to her profession. We put her in a rather tough spot, desperately seeking guidance and care for our dog Whiskey who had recently been diagnosed with end stage liver disease. His prognosis was incredibly poor; he was only given 1-3 months of anticipated survival time after a trip to the ER vet and was on a slew of medications. Through all the ups and downs, Dr. Cawthra consistently went above and beyond—answering my many, many questions, doing additional research into his case, calling in prescriptions after hours—there was never a doubt in my mind that Whiskey was in the best possible care. She always led with the facts, was unfailingly patient and compassionate, and very supportive. Sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to our sweet boy, and we are beyond devastated by his loss. I’m sure it will be quite some time before we feel ready to adopt and open our hearts again... But when we do, we know exactly the local vet to trust with the health and well-being of our next furry family member.

The Vet that I have used for a long time, moved to Brier Vet. When I called for an appointment, they took all the information and immediately transferred my dogs records. Very kind and understanding while walking me through the process. When I showed up 15 minutes early for the appointment, no problem, took him right in. My Vet, Dr. Debbie, examined Buster and called me immediately with recommendations. Then the Vet Tech brought him out to the care with my itemization. Very professional. I love this Vet!!!
