We've taken all of our family pets here for years! They are so sweet and gentle and really seem to care about the animal AND the owner. I can call and get info from a vet or get a call back right away!! Love that they're in my neighborhood too!

They're okay. I went there pre-pandemic. They were scared of my dog but did great with my cat

Such a warm place to take your fur babies to. Everyone here does seem to care deeply about their jobs. It is a bit expensive than some other clinics, but totally worth it.

This is the best veterinarian I have ever taken my pets to. They care, they know me when I call, they are patient with me and my babies too. Very good with advise and concerned about cost. You don't find that very often. I just love Dr. West. She is a gem of a person and a true animal person. I can tell when she handles my sick kitty that she truly cares. Update - 11/2021. This vet clinic has gone through some changes but haven't we all? I am still very happy with them and will continue there until I leave Portland when I retire in several years. Too pricey? You get what you pay for and I want the best doc for me! Why not my fir babies? Veterinarian care is not cheap and when you decide to adopt your pet you become responsible. Shots, exams, training, and ER care and more is in the package. Appointments when you want it? Nope, they are very busy and just like going to your own doc you may need to consider urgent care as the option for that injury. Linwood is not a walk-in clinic. Plan ahead and have a backup plan too! That is just being an adult. No arguments, pay the price or go elsewhere, and decide what you want for your fir babies. These vets are terrific! The front office staff is amazing and dedicated to their customers and our pets! It is beyond me to hear so many nasty reviews for a place that does such a great job. Thanks Linwood for doing what you do. I very much appreciate you and all you have done for over 15 years for my babies.

They're a little bit pricy, not too much, but the services they offer are some of the better ones in the area. The staff are all respectful and nice, so long as you behave while at their establishment.

I have received about a dozen texts, emails, and physical mail after two visits where we got poor and unempathetic care for our cat. I have zero interest in going back with the poor care, high prices, and extreme measures to get more money from us. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. At this point it feels like harassment, and I'm overwhelmed by how many times they have continued to reach out for a basic wellness exam. It seems like all they care about is making money. No thanks. Pleased stop contacting me!

Alittle wait but well worth it.

Terrible vet! My dog received the care he needed within an hour at another vet I have never been to before today! I have been coming here for years. They happily collected my money for simple visits. Today my dog got hurt on his paw. They wanted to have him dropped off and caged for hours as an emergency visit and would not let me wait in the car with him. I do not recommend this vet and they have no compassion or care for dogs. When you have a problem you will regret coming to these heartless cruel people.

They were extraordinarily helpful in finding the owner of a couple of dogs that had gotten lost.

I'm sorry to say my I am currently searching for a new veterinarian for my dog. Linwood Animal Clinic seems to have lost touch with their clients during COVID: The final straw was when I mentioned that I am frustrated with the limited communication and that I was considering switching vets. The staff member shrugged at me and said they would transfer my information to whichever vet I wanted. This was after feeling like I had to pry information out of them about caring for a sever giardia infection, they raised prices nearly 20% on monthly medication without saying anything, I was also asked to show up at their office multiple times only to find out they had closed early or left for lunch. I would like to give a nod of gratitude for the female vet tech who gave me excellent giardia care instructions after I insisted on speaking with someone about my dog's decline. She was wonderful.

Since you misdiagnosed Sam with arthritis instead of cancer and I had to have his leg removed within a short period of time, I would think you would understand the one star. Actually, you deserve minus, but they dont have that. I'm sure you remember Sam. He came to your clinic for about 9 years. When I brought him in, you misdiagnosed him with arthritis. When I brought him back, someone at your clinic thought to check further. Cancer. By the time I got him to the cancer center, it was either take his leg off or let him go because of the pain. Do you remember now?

I have taken my dog here many times and have always had decent experiences but my last visit was ridiculous. I have a dog that broke her front canine tooth on a fence. She can be aggressive when she's scared so the only way they would see her is if I paid almost $70 for medication to calm her down, but it didn't work and she was still too freaked out. It was heartbreaking to see the vet pull on her leash and choke my dog and I finally said thats enough, either let me go back there with her (I am vaccinated and had a mask) or just give her something for pain and we will be on our way. They wouldn't let me back there with her and wouldn't give her anything for pain because "they had to examine her first". Her tooth was broken in half! Its a very obvious injury and she was in a lot of discomfort. My main complaint is that they charged me for medication to subdue her without seeing her AND charged me for the appointment that didn't even happen, but they wouldn't give her anything for pain without taking her back in the room even though it was a very obvious injury. They also wouldn't refund me for anything. Very disappointed in Linwood animal clinic.

Sure was nice to be able to go inside to pay the bill. They are still doing curbside drop offs. The vet called me to tell me the diagnosis and treatment plan.

IVAN's Linwood Animal Clinic makes it as difficult as they can if you want to purchase prescription products through a third party vendor. Oregon law requires veterinarian's to provide prescription upon request so you can go to any pharmacy you like. IVANS's Linwood Animal Clinic is only willing to write a hard copy prescription that you have to pick up from their office and snail mail to the pharmacy. Even during Covid-19! They refuse to approve prescriptions via fax, phone, or email. They refuse to allow another doctor in their office to write a refill if the original prescribing doctor is out of the office. Why? So you are forced to use their own online pharmacy that has higher prices and slower service.

Walked into this place cuz they were right down the street from where am I apartment is because my service animal has allergies really bad had a face mask and all proper gear for service animal and was told I could not come in there and I said all I need to do is ask a question I'm wearing my mask she says no you need to go now you need to call and make an appointment very rude and unprofessional I would never take my dog to a place where people acted like this
