Lower Columbia Veterinary Clinic is a great place for pets. My BCF (Best Canine Friend) has been going to LCVC since June 2021. They answer my questions and concerns and offer excellent advice and their consultations after an exam are extremely helpful. They answer their telephone and text message clients and send follow up emails for appointments which means their communication style is top notch. They are very professional and friendly.

I've been going here for 6 years. Their customer service is the best I've seen! The prices may be "high" but to me I know my animals are in great hands. They are so wonderful. And the vets explain things if your confused about what's wrong with your pet. My animals are loved there and I love this clinic. I am more then willing to pay a little more (if that's the case) for great service!

Great vet experience. Too expensive. They recommended we get one of my dog's teeth cleaned, the estimate for just the clean was $1950.00. Way out of our price range, sorry.

We have a very sick cat and they would not even see him they said not except new patients. I would not ever call them again!!! So I guess they don't even care if he dies!!!!

They were my vets until I had to move...awesome staff, very compassionate, knowledgeable, and a very clean place. I miss them all! my pets were treated so good, Dr. Larson was my main vet and then sweet Dr Gigi... I wish I could have brought them all with me. Prices are ok and If you want good service, great treatment for your babies and people that treat your pets like their own, this is your place.

They got me in really quickly and I did not have to wait a long time while my dog was inside. The vet personally called me to tell me that my dog was healthy and happy after his checkup and got the appropriate shots for him.

Had my first visit with this vet on 5/25/21. I was impressed with the speedy service and how polite everyone was. Every experience I had was very positive. The prices were great and ensuring my pets needs were met was at the top of their list. I highly recommend this vet.

I cannot begin to tell you my story on how I came to the services of LowerColumbia Veterinary Clinic. One super assist from Liz to work us in on an emergency for Our new mother, Catdog.. yes thats her name. Our tiny rescue Manx, gave birth to 5 of her own and nursing 3 newborns she adopted while she was pregnant. ( newborns were birthed in an engine compartment by a feral cat) long story that one. They are the Safeway Parking Lot kitties. Sadly we lost one of each litter. We were 7 hours away when we got a call from home this past Wed. (5/19/21) collectively kittens are 2-3 weeks) with sniffling and sneezing and 1 struggling to breathe. Most likely not going to survive. I called Portland,, Tigard, Scappoose, St. helens, Rainier and even Astoria for emergency help. All met with same exact response. All booked up with existing appointments, waitlist, covid limiting, call tomorrow maybe if some one cancels.. ect.( thats why Catdog has not been spayed... she had an oops on waitlist) No compassion. We are 7 hours away, our caretaker is frantic.. we are ready to pack up and come home.. I thought lets try Longview. First call Lower Columbia Veterinary Clinic. Met with the most compassionate person, Liz on the phone. She was just simply amazing. She raved about GG! Dr. Gutierrez. Well... she is! We told Liz on phone we did not care about cost please... help them. They did. My babies are all at home, being treated for respiratory infection with antibiotics and saline. Ribsy is struggling but surviving. The cost astounded me! Much less than we expected. The compassion and care we received is priceless. Highly recommend. My pets have new Vet!.

The staff at this location are very helpful and easy to talk to. We had concerns with our dog and they went over every option and price plan with us. Extremely thankful to them.

I called for my 6 month old lab to get her Trifexis tablet. Her regular vet in CA said she’ll just need to be weighed before they can prescribe the med. We have a blueberry farm in Rainier and happened to be up here so I called Lower Columbia Vet Clinic. They insisted my dog get a full exam for $90 then they would prescribe the med. I explained my pup has had all of her monthly exams & I could provide the paperwork along with vaccination docs. The receptionist refused. What a scam. Why should I pay for an unnecessary exam. I even offered to provide my pets veterinarian contact info but they refused.

They took her in right away, they were very friendly with my fur baby and me. They weren't rude or mean when I called to check on my girl.

Explained everything thoroughly. Felt comfortable with the handling of my dog and this would not be easy since because of Covid our conversation was by phone. Staff was exceptionally friendly and caring.

$100 dollar deposit just to make an appointment is entirely unreasonable, you will not be getting my business

Had to take my little fur baby in for a check up because of a skin issue. The vet and staff were so helpful with explaining the cause and the reason for the treatment they proposed. And they suggested some great at home products to help. I would definitely recommend them.

Beware...took my 3 year old cat in for a spay and she ended up dying. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I’m fully aware and understand there are risks when it comes to any surgery however I do believe that this veterinary clinic bit off more then they could chew with her surgery. Dr and staff didn’t realize her anatomy was “abnormal” until they got in there but instead of closing her up and not proceeding they proceeded which took a 30min procedure to an almost 2 hour procedure. Dr discharged her to me at 4 pm and by 6:45 I was rushing her to Vancouver to the ER vet and she was dead by the time we got there. I truly think the staff knew she wasn’t going to recover and everyone was just praying for a miracle. This place didn’t even offer me a refund of any kind either. They were happy to take my $500. Even though she won’t be using the medications, cone of shame, blood test, and vaccinations now.All I got was a phone call the next day in the later afternoon with an apology and “I don’t know what happened”.
