Amazing experience. My pup was here for surgery I was very happy with the outcome. Dr. Gurg goes above and beyond making sure his patients are treated like family, like they are his own. This doctor is very patient, caring, understanding, honest,…most importantly makes his job a priority providing customers above 100% satisfaction. I would also like to mention the secretary for giving me an amazing experience. I would also like to thank the doctor, who’s name I didn’t get but was also just as caring. Thank you so much, you now have a loyal customer and a loving pup that will live healthier and have an amazing life a head of him. Salute!

Was in a pinch on Christmas Eve and really needed medicated shampoo to help my allergy-ridden French Bulldog. We aren’t from here so were unable to get to our normal vet. These guys were the only vet who were kind and accommodating- and I called around 5 in the area. Super professional and helpful front office staff :)

The vet overprescribes antibiotics, which is a major issue these days with superbugs. When questioned about it, rather than calmly answering any concerns, they become agitated.

I just moved in to the neighborhood and brought my cat to this clinic to be neutered. The wifey already mentioned they were not as welcoming when she dropped off our cat. Thought it was probably just a busy morning or it was too early. However, I did feel the same way when I dropped by at the end of the day to pickup my cat. It felt like I was going to a fast-food restaurant, the first thing they give you is the bill. The person at the reception didn't even know who my cat is and or felt like she cared when I asked about the condition of cat's operation. Didn't even get to speak to the vet or did he even say hello. In fairness, I did speak to a vet assistant (I think)...after I paid the bill...and she was nice.

I have had an amazing experience here ! I came in with my 15 year old cat after his inner ear had been damaged by another vet :( . Dr Garg and the entire team have been amazing., he was so loving to my boy, and the staff has been so supportive to me. Almost daily calls from the office staff to check on my boy , many calls with Dr Garg regarding test results and my questions and worries. Highly recommend this place for your fur babies !! Walnut Grove Animal Hospital - Thank you so much for all you have done for my sweet Simba.... you have changed our lives and hopefully given him a second chance at a healthy future !!! I can literally never thank you enough

The staff here were very friendly, but I didn't find the vet to be very helpful. He didn't really listen to us or communicate the issues very effectively. I came in with my cat who was limping. The first thing the vet did was check his teeth to see if they needed cleaning. I understand you are supposed to clean your animals teeth (and I do this) but I didn't understand why that was checked first for an animal that was limping. We ended up doing an x-ray and found out he had a chip in his elbow. The vet wanted us to put him on pain meds, which could cause issues with his kidneys and then potentially go for surgery if the limp persisted. It seemed strange to put him on pain meds that could ultimately cause further issues and decided to go to another vet for a second opinion. This vet said I should avoid pain meds and simply rest my cat for 5-6 weeks and if he was still limping after that, he would need surgery. I followed the advise of the second vet and my cat is completely fine now. I don't think the vet at Walnut Grove is bad by any means, I'm sure he has good intentions, but I just found that he never explained what was going on or why certain things needed to be done and when you asked him questions, his answers were vague and unclear. Ultimately, I wouldn't go back here and don't really recommend this place.

Clean facility, they have no problems showing you their back treatment area. Dr. Garg is very attentive and always personally calls to go over lab results. Pricing is fair and they don’t try to push unnecessary treatment.

In my opinion, this veterinarian practice is very poorly run and the staff is just plain rude and not accommodating. My spouse went in there the first time and they added treats to her bill without consenting her, which is not professional. Unfortunately we had to go back the second time as our puppy needed his vaccinations with a second booster. My spouse is 8?months pregnant and they did not even help her lift the puppy. Again she is 8 months pregnant and this is unacceptable. Lack of customer service on their part and no respect for people in need. In my opinion people should stay clear if this veterinarian practice as they are out to grab your money and provide no service. Will not being returning here at all and regret taking our puppy here.

In July our beloved dog had cancer and took a sudden turn for the worse. We had to put her down and did not want her to suffer longer than she had to. We called around to see if someone was willing to make a house call. Walnut Grove Animal Hospital came through for us!!! Our sweet girl was able to be be at home with her family when she passed. She didn't have to endure more stress or pain by waiting and taking the trip to the clinic. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Garg's for his professionalism, understanding, and compassion in such an extremely difficult time for our family..

I felt like they may have over requested screenings when starting with the obvious one would have cleared up the issue....but if cost is no issue for you or you have pet insurance, it is better to ere on the side of caution. What I can say is that follow up is incredible. They called me promptly with all the results and I spoke with the Dr directly. As well, the moa called me several times to make sure the medication was going well and then again after the fact to make sure there were no further issues and everything had been cleared. Kuddos for follow up, I really appreciated that. My dog and I definitely felt well cared for.

Hands down the BEST place to take your animals. I will never take my animals anywhere but here. Dr.Garg is so knowledgable, kind, caring, & gets the job done. My pup had surgery and I received multiple phone calls from Dr. Garg and the front desk ladies making sure my pup was doing good. I will recommend Walnut Grove Animal Hospital to everyone!!

We are very happy with Walnut Grove Animal Hospital and the wonderful care they have provided to our little guy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (5 Hearts awarded as well). We are new to this clinic since adopting our middle aged Chihuahua. Both visits have been emergencies and we felt at ease as soon as Dr Garg took charge. We also appreciate the transparent and open way they discuss costs Very professional. Recommend!

We recently moved to lower mainland over the holidays from Europe and unfortunately, our pet had an emergency illness. Perhaps from the long journey on the plane. We called this hospital and the doctor answered the phone. He was pleasant to talk to and advised us with our next steps. When we met him, he was very kind and he took his time to explain all the questions we had. He worked quickly to take care of our dog. At first we were skeptical because of the horror stories with vets these days, but it's a really lovely place. It felt totally calm and peaceful and it was clearly evident that the reception staff really love animals as does the vet! Prices were reasonable. Thank you! Clean - 10 Prices - 10 Friendliness - 9.5 Professionalism - 10 Overall 9.5

Extremely nice place with a good vibe. They are friendly and helpful. Somwthing very important to me if i visit any doctor is their ability to explain exactly what is going on in common language. They do just that. They help me understand whats going on with my pets care which is super important to me. They make aure you are comfortable qith the treatment plan. The doctoes are professional and the clinic has a reminder policy as well. I highly recommend to everyone.

Found the doctor had no compassion. Told me to make my decision as he had other ppl waiting . He could have left me in the room with my dying cat and used another room.

I am very pleased with Dr.Garg and Brenda at Walnut Grove Animal Hospital. I have had to take my dog in numerous times and Dr.Garg has been very caring. I feel fortunate that I have found such a good vet. Brenda at the front is great too.

My experience with Walnut Grove Animal hospital was in September of 2011, so not recent, but it was such a disappointing experience that eight years later, I still think about it every time I drive by their location. My (very loved) elderly kitty cat was at the end of her life, and after a time of unsuccessfully attempting treatment to prolong her life, we ultimately elected to have her euthanized. I have no complaints about the vet who treated her I her final months. He was kind to her, but it was the incompetence of the desk/office staff who made the experience so memorable in a bad way. While paying our final bill, we ordered a paw print as a memorial. They said it would be ready for us in a couple weeks. When we didn't hear back from them, I called to ask. I was asked to pay my bill, which I was confused about, as we had always paid in full each time we were there with the cat. (I didn't even know you can run a tab at the vet). Anyway, they began phoning and demanding payment. I finally had to go in there with a print out of my bank statement to prove there was a transaction where I had paid them. Annoying that they can't manage their paperwork, but that's not the worst part. The desk staff never even ordered the paw print memorial. They simply send our kitty for cremation without doing anything that was requested. I was really, really sad when I learned that. I've dealt with vet clinics in the past who are compassionate when a pet passes away, and recognize that many people love their pets very much, and how it can be a very sad thing to lose a pet who has been with you for decades. Even after I proved that I paid the bill they insisted I hadn't, there was never any kind of acknowledgement for how poorly they mishandled their files/paperwork, and no apology for such careless disregard of our desire to have a paw print as a memorial of our girl. I've never returned to this vet clinic since this happened, so maybe things are better now - I don't know. But I doubt I would ever give them another chance, and I recommend elsewhere if anyone ever asks me.

Dr. Garg and his lovely staff are the absolute best in the business. Dr. Garg is an excellent veterinarian but most of all you can tell he truly cares about the animals. I won’t take my dogs anywhere else. You won’t find a clinic with better prices either.

Owner told me to give up my dog to the SPCA if I can't handle my dogs Illness. Nobody who actually cares about animals would say something so brutal. I'd stay away from this place unless you enjoy getting unprofessional and lousy treatment for your pets!

While the service was acceptable, and the quality of care was good, the staff were not very personable, not only with the clients but also the other staff.
