Reasonable prices, great staff and competent vets.

They are always fair, don't spend your money unnecessarily but don't avoid it when needed and kind. I've been going there for 35 years.

These guys are NOT TAKING NEW CLIENTS and will NOT HELP with a EMERGENCY unless you are an existing client. I learned this the hard way this morning when I tried to take my dog in for what truly seemed to be an emergency (multiple symptoms of BLOAT, which can kill them quite quickly) I drove my her there because it was the closest vet but there is absolutely zero signage out front, (and it didn’t seem to be where the gps took me). So I called to ask where it was and told the reception I thought my dog had bloat. She asked my name and I explained that I wasn’t in the system because if just moved into the area. Then I was told “we aren’t taking new clients”. I replied that I brought her because I thought it was an emergency (there is a ton of credible information online to back this up) and this was the closest vet and was told “the emergency clinic is in central Langley and we aren’t taking new clients and we don’t do walk-ins” Wow. At my previous vet (who I miss like crazy) they would drop everything to deal with any EMERGENCY that came in, even if the animal wasn’t a client. They cared more about saving animals than maintaining a strict schedule. I think most pet parents could appreciate that. To be turned away when I said it was an emergency was shocking and upsetting.

I have been taking my dog here since she was a puppy and they have the best service and are so good with my dog. Highly recommend them!

Very disappointed in the service. I e been coming since my dog was a puppy, he's 13 now. Was 30 minutes late for my appointment partly due to a detour and they wouldn't see him. He has an infection and they turned us away. I realize I was late but they clearly don't value me as a customer nor do they care about my poor dog. Receptionist extremely rude.

I’ve brought my dogs here for a few years with good service and fair prices. However, there needs to be some improvement when booking an appointment. Took a half day off work to bring my dog in for an afternoon appointment when day was incorrectly communicated to us. Feeling pretty frustrated but willing to give them another chance.

Great vet, doesn't do unnecessary procedures or cash grabs. Great with my dogs. If you have a sour taste from the previous owner like I did try coming here again. The new owners are great...

Great staff has always taken great care of our animals

Not well marked, they are on the west side of the street. They go by appointments and we're fairly close to the set time. They were steady with customers. You wait outside, fir me it was a nice sunny day, it would not be as enjoyable on a cold rainy day. Two dogs in for checkout and shots. The dogs are high energy and they made out fine. We will be back.

The ladies in the front are helpful and always so nice. The vets there are very competent and kindhearted.

Great clinic both Dr. Zwambourne and younger vet Dr. Chris. Excellent surgery and care saved our husky, Sky, from a very nasty malignant perianal tumor at age 14 - he lived 4 1/2 more wonderful years to age 18 1/2 when he passed in his sleep - his renewed health luck and the great care at Albatross - in spite of the pathologists guess he'd only have a few more months. They also saved our cat Mars from the brink of death due to diabetes at age 16 - Mars, now 21 years old is still doing great on the blood glucose testing and insulin injections Dr Chris taught me to do. Dr Chris and Dr. Zwambourne (now retired) are wonderful - love this country style clinic in south Langley - beautiful drive from central Langley. Runs for dogs waiting or recovering - informed and very nice staff.

Very disheartening because this practice was like family we were longtime patients of Dr Z and his Nurse Pam our pets were always in excellent hands with those two. It’s a sad shame because we never really understood what happened? Confused like a lot of his patients... Was continually being told Dr Z would be back and then nothing. Dr Chris is very nice but during the time this practice was secretly being transitioned over to him we felt as longtime patients that we were left abandoned and unfortunately at that time I felt Dr Chris did not yet have the instinct and experience that we always fully trusted and relied on with Bill. End of an Era there will never be another Dr Zwambourne and Nurse Pam.

Truly one of the best vet practices in the Lower Mainland. Dr. Chris and his team at Albatross provide exemplary care every time my animals are brought in for treatment. Dr. Chris is knowledgable and always takes the time to thoroughly address every concern. Albatross Vet Services has always been ready to help my animals when needed and they do so at costs that are beyond reasonable. Sincerely grateful for the services that this practice provides.

My family has been going to Albatross since I was a kid. Started with my grandma taking her dogs here, and then my parents took our dogs here and now I take my own dog here. Dr. Chris has been amazing to work with over the years. He was so kind when my dog had bladder cancer and help us through the whole process. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I always prefer to come here because I know I'm getting the best care for my dog.

Dr. Chris has a great balance between empathy and practical considerations. Can't say enough how we value his help

I have been going to Albatross vet since I moved to Aldergrove 5 years ago. Dr Wessel is honest and does what’s in the best of your pet. He is kind and an exceptional vet. I am so glad I was able to get in because he is in high demand. The whole team that works at Albatross are friendly and professional. I would not go anywhere else. Brenda C

Hands down the best Vet we have ever dealt with. Prices are fantastic and the vets are even better! No frills just a little country vet with best caring staff! We have been taking our animals here for the last 10 years and have always been more than impressed. The one time we had to take one of our dogs to another vet it was a nightmare and we need up having to have things corrected at Albatross. Needless to say no matter where we live this is where we will take our animals everytime!

Always a great experience with Albatross. My 80lb dog is a big baby and they always take such good care of him. Staff are super friendly and you can tell they all really care about the animals. Highly recommend them.

This has been our go to veterinary clinic for years. My Mom has been going here for decades. They take great care of all of our critters, and most recently, we were able to get an appointment within 12 hours of an issue arises with one of our pets. Can’t beat that!

Albatross vet is a great place to take your animal's. The staff is very friendly and caring. I recommend taking your fur babies there.
