We purchased a Woodside Kennels puppy from Sandy today. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend anyone looking for apup go check her dogs out. The puppies get socialized, the kennels were clean as well as the fact she has beautiful dogs. I found Sandy to be knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you have about pups. She makes it very clear the importance of getting your pup out to experience new things so it's confident as well as tells you to call her with any questions you might have. I would definitely recommend this place

I Have not the pleasure of meeting Sandy Anderson the owner/breeder of Woodside German Shepherds in person. But I am so gratefully of her for allowing me the privilege of adding another beautiful and wonderful part to my family. As a owner of multiples German shepherds and have had various past US, CA and International Champions. I can say Sandy has pick one or the best for me and family. I love my Woodside puppy and I am so happy to know that Sandy Anderson is only a phone call or message away if needed or any question, concern or advisee. I am looking forward for my puppy to be on the ring!!

She lies so much on here and everywhere else. I have proofs of her telling me she will refund my money. She lies she has litters and she just gives them off to other people. She’s racist. And she told us we will give us our puppy in November. And then January. She doesn’t reply to emails and calls SHES SO RUDE.

If there 0 I would like to give Sandy . I'm very disappointed with her. I registered to buy a puppy in June last year but until now I don't have one. I called her more than 10 times to ask about a puppy, she came off with a lot excuses and even called me back with her promise. Through almost a year, I’m still waiting for her .That is ridiculous!!! Registered name is Denis Registered date : June. 2020

I had the privilege to speak with Sandy at wood side over the phone back in August. I told her that we are interested in the female puppy and she said she would have the puppy sometime in October-november. I agreed to wait and put the deposit down. in November I had no response from her so decided to email her. She seemed very ennoyed with me and told me that I didn't understand her properly and what she meant was that the puppies would be only born in October- November, she told me she can not buy me a puppy on Amazon and its all in natures hands. very funny. I said fine, let's wait a bit longer.we waited and waited and waited and waited.. I called her in December she said your puppy was born on December 9 and she will contact me when puppy will be ready for a pick up. I decided to give it the very last try but when I didn't hear from her until March I just requested my deposit back, which was actually refunded by her. But after she refunded my money she deleted me from her "German Shepherds of BC" Facebook group, which I find very childish, but ok, I can live with that. so long story short if you really would like to add another hairy family member to your household do the research first, pick breeder very and I mean very carefully otherwise you can burn badly and waste a lot of time, energy and nerves..

If your looking to purchase a German Shepherd, regardless of where you are located, make sure to check out Woodside. Sandy Anderson the owner/breeder of Woodside German Shepherds will help you and guide you in the right direction. If your looking for a pet or show puppy/dog she can help. Sandy is very accommodating and if there are any problems big or small she will make sure you leave there satisfied. I love my Woodside puppy and I am so happy to know that Sandy Anderson is only a phone call or message away if needed.

Our family first contacted Sandy in August 2020 about buying a puppy through her. She was very responsive at first and we were able to go out twice (once just my partner and I, and once with my step daughter) to meet the current puppies. She advised that we would be put on a wait list after paying a deposit and she would contact us when a puppy was available and could not guarantee when that would be, but it would likely be 4-6 months. We had no problem with this and paid the deposit. Sandy was able to answer all our questions and was obviously extremely knowledgeable about the dogs and the breed, the dogs seemed to be happy and were in well maintained pens. During the following 5 months I struggled to get ahold of Sandy for any kind of update - I tended to stick to emails as I didn't want to intrude on her day to day running of her business and often did not hear back. Given that no puppy had been offered yet, I didn't push harder than this to get a response assuming she was busy and that she would contact us when a puppy was available. In January I contacted Sandy again requesting an update and she advised I would be getting a puppy from the 3 week old or 1 week old litter she had. I responded that we were looking forward to confirmation and never received a response. In later February I messaged her again asking if we would be getting a puppy from the 1 week old litter she had promised previously and she responded that we would be getting one and they would be ready for pick up March 2nd. My partner and I again visited the business and picked out 2 puppies that we liked and told her those would be our favourites, but we were okay with any male puppy. We asked to bring our step daughter back with us a different day during February and were told no because the vet was there checking the puppies out. We planned with Sandy to pick up the puppy on March 5th at 1:30PM and started counting down the days with our 11 year old step daughter who was over the moon excited. On March 4th at 2:54PM Sandy emailed us advising that the puppy she set aside for us had medical issues and she could no longer give him to us, and that all the other puppies were spoken for so we no longer had a puppy for pick up the following day. She offered first pick of the next litter (to be born at the end of March and picked up at the end of May). We decided to go with a different option at this point due to the struggles with communication we had and the last minute loss of the puppy with Sandy and the time that it had taken by that point. We were able to come to a good resolution with Sandy with the situation which we are very thankful for. Ultimately, Sandy knows her dogs extraordinarily well and will be able to answer any and all questions you may have, and I am sure the dogs from there are great, but the customer service can be a struggle at times and our experiences through the last 7 months led us to deciding to bring our business elsewhere.

Thanks Sandy. I'm a single mom of four children's . We were so desperate for a puppy. I contacted Sandy last October where i gave her deposit. She told me exactly puppy will be born around 23 December and after 8 weeks we can bring our puppy home. Last Saturday we brought our Hazel home happily. People you guys should understand Sandy as she has to pick up phone and do paper work as well. You trust Sandy give her time. You keep trying calling her and eventually she will reply . keep calling as she receive too many calls. I was in her office while she was doing paper work and the phone kept ringing. Thanks so much Sandy. Our house is filled up of joy and happiness. Our Hazle is so cute. Her staff as well is very welcoming and always a smile.Hazle is a very energetic, happy and friendly dog. She love to play with other pups and friendly with strangers. She is very gentle with kids and everyone has fall in love with her. I'm also following sandy advise where to buy her food and how to feed her.Even we brought our puppy home we are not buying food from Petmart. Sandy advise us to stick the raw meat food.Even she gave us the VET contact number. We got our puppy with one Vaccine already done.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm not the type to ever give a review, but with the horrendous service I received, I felt the need to. My boyfriend & I had narrowed down our choices of breeders and emailed Sandy wanting to view the current dogs she had before making a decision and paying a deposit. For some reason, Sandy took offence to this request and had told me to find someone else. With previous dog experience, it is normal to want to see the parents, and meet the breeders before giving them money. Warning to anyone inquiring about Sandy's dogs, it seems as if she requires money first before you're able to meet her, and any of the dog she owns/sells.

This woman, Sandy has played me and my kids over this dog for eight months now and she keeps procrastinating and changing her delivery date. In October, I got a reply to my follow-up emails from her saying the following: "as soon as I have a puppy it will be yours, I can only have puppies as fast as Mother Nature allows." I think this a joke to her. She had promised to deliver an eight-week puppy by the first week of September which she forgot about, and later changed it to October! The first time, we were promised "first in line." Second time, she changed it to "you are second on my list." And later, denied everything. In October, she played us again and again. She is saying she is waiting for mother nature to give us a puppy. This is unacceptable! Two months ago, after becoming desperate with her, I emailed and texted several times to herself and her bookkeeper demanding my $500 deposit back, and am yet to receive a reply. Her bookkeeper only said in text that she is sorry. I am extremely sorry to have trusted them. She wouldn't even refud my deposit! See the pictures, attached, as proof. Good luck if you trust her..

I contacted Sandy after doing some research on German Shepherd breeders in BC. We got in contact in June and I had put a deposit down on puppy in a litter that was born in August. I was told that I was “4th or 5th on the list out of two litters” so there is “a good chance you will receive one.” Mid August rolls around and I have heard absolutely nothing from Sandy. I emailed her for an update and she replied that my puppy is either 1 week old or 5 weeks. Okay... beginning of a October comes and after hearing nothing from Sandy, I contacted her for another update. Apparently a couple puppies didn’t pass their health checks so I won’t be receiving a puppy from either litter. But she didn’t bother to reach out to me when she knew of this information? I was then told I was now 1st on the list for a litter ready to go home in November. November rolls around and I again, email for an update because there has been 0 communication on her end. The one time she emailed me back in the same day she said there were AGAIN, health complications with the puppies, so I will be first on the list for the next litter. If she honored her waitlist, I would not have been bumped so many times. After 6 months I have had enough and wanted to go with another breeder. All of these health complications are pretty unnerving... I asked for my deposit back but obviously I got no reply. All of the emails/communication we’ve had have taken her days to weeks to reply, even though I see posts daily on her Facebook/Instagram. Since it was my first time looking for a puppy from a breeder, I didn’t know any better and back in June I signed a “non refundable deposit form,” which I would never do again for any breeder. Ultimately I feel like I was scammed for my deposit and do not recommend this business. Very unprofessional.

Sandy's love for the dogs is evident in the way she runs her business. She has a clear concern for assuring the best home for her wonderful dogs. This was true when I received Georgia 12 years ago and just as obvious when I picked up young Peggy last weekend. I strongly recommend Woodside German Shepherds. Thank You. Jim

Sandy is exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced in German Shepherds and has some of the top dogs and bloodlines in North America. I would highly recommend getting a German Shepherd from Woodside if you are looking for temperament, health and quality! You will be in excellent hands!

I was at the Vedder River and met a nice lady with a stunning GSD in perfect health, with excellent temperament. I asked her where she got her and I was told Woodside. I’m extremely impressed with the quality of dog they breed. It’s so nice to see people who do the job right!

Cheating breeder! We paid $500 deposit and were allowed to select a puppy. My kid was so excited to have the puppy! While one week before the pickup time, Sandy told us that we have to pay in full otherwise the puppy would be offered to others. We insisted that we would pay the left when we pick up the puppy. Then she said her business is small so she needs the money so we cannot give us the puppy...... We asked the deposit be refunded but she refused to respond!

I've known Sandy for well over thirty years and have had dogs from Woodside lines during that time; I currently co-own a Woodside puppy. Sandy is an incredibly talented breeder as well as a serious student of the breed; I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for a quality GSD puppy. Sandy is and has always been willing to share her knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. Personally, I consider her to be the top breeder in North America.
