Appointment was scheduled but it took over 5 hours to get dog out. Overbooked salon!

Always a good job. A bit spendy though

I have a 3 year old rescued Staffy that I have a hard time getting nail trims for. At other facilities I'm always told to take him to the vet (who requires him to be sedated, muzzled, and costs a lot), OR they get 2 nails done and tell me they just can't finish with him. Lux Pet Salon has been able to get him in, out, and ALL nails clipped without hardly any fuss. He still gets growly but they take such good care of him that he comes out as happy as he went in. He still is muzzled for safety but I'm so happy to have found a place that can clip all of his nails without sedation and really makes an effort to be sweet to him through the whole process and talk to him instead of just rushing through it. I will always bring my boy back here for his nails!

The last 2-3 times I set out to take my dog for a nail trim I wasn't happy at all. I really hope I have just had bad luck with this business and their dependability does exist for the sake of the staying in business. Don't have a door that says, "Open 7 days a week", if you arent going to be. I went on my lunch break to have my dogs nails trimmed because when they are there, they are quick. Only to find out they're closed Wednesday's. I arranged for a friend to take my dog the following day and I dont even think they trimmed his nails. They were barely trimmed if at all. Lastly, I thought I'd give them one more chance, it was 515 and hours online said Open until 6pm. Door still says 7 days a week but a paper sign says closed Weds and Thursdays now. This was a Friday. Door was locked, no answer on the phone and not going back.

When I dropped her off she had such long fur that you could barely see her eyes and when I picked her up she looked soooo beautiful! They were even able to get the food stains from her mouth out (always been a problem). She had so much fun playing with the other dogs after her grooming and I am definitely going to be coming back !

Was literally in and out in 5 minutes! Quick spur of the moment trip to get my puppy’s nails trimmed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Update: have been bringing my dog here for a semi monthly bath/nail trim since my first nail trim experience. The staff is great with her and she always comes back so fresh and so clean!

First time bringing our pup in and I cant believe we waited so long to bring him into the salon! We bath our dog and trim his nails. But this is beyond a normal home washing! I picked him up so clean and smelling so good and he was so happy! I was a little worried before bringing him in that he would be anxious. He is a german shepherd golden retriever mix and can get a little excited when he sees other dogs. The ladies that worked there assured me he would be fine. When it came time to pick him up I found out he had made a friend there and had done great! We will definitely be back!

Got us in really quick and had no issues trimming our dogs nails even though he really doesnt like it.

We've been taking our dog here for over a year. He always comes back looking great. The people are friendly and professional. I recommend that you try them out.

I couldn't say more good things about this Pet Salon. They take great care of my dogs and one of them requires alot of coat maintenance and they always do the most amazing job and they both come out looking adorable and smelling great! I love how the end result of the cut and style is always thoughtful with my long haired girl, they take great care of both dogs and are very courteous and understanding when I need them to hang out there for a while, the dogs come back ready to nap which is awesome. The owner is the sweetest and overall all staff is very polite and personable and fantastic to interact with. I've taken my dogs to a few other places in the area but I will never stray again none of them had the level of service and appeal of this salon. Love this place!

We used to love coming here with our dog Bridget, however our last experience/interaction wasn’t the best. We tried making an appointment via phone, but after reaching their VM finally decided to follow THEIR instructions on the voicemail to make an appointment via their website. So we did just that, only to receive a call while we were en route dropping off our dog that next morning to be told that they were completely booked and not able to see Bridget for 5 days. It was an inconvenience and I asked for a discount of service since we had been loyal customers. Was told they would get back to us....that was 3 weeks ago. I find it a real shame when businesses make a mistake and don’t make an effort to make right by the mistake. Might want to remove the online booking feature if it isn’t integrated with any systems to show availability.

They are always great with our 3 Aussies. We have been many places and this by far is the best.

Our dog is typically very anxious and she did so good here! They have great customer service and the place is very nice, without having super high prices. She had been itching a lot so they gave her a special bath and she hasn't itched at all since. They also gave her a cute flower bandana, I'm definitely taking her back here.

I took my Aussie here because of the reviews I saw about other Aussies. I got a consultation to go over what I wanted and showed pictures because I wanted trimming and grooming not a “shave or buzz.” I expressed my concern and how it was his first grooming. They seemed to understand. He came back shaved and not what I requested. I was in shock so didn’t say anything at the time, DO NOT take your Aussie here they do not know what this breed is to be groomed like and will just do a short shave . I wish they would have been clear that they couldn’t do what I had requested before I made such a big decision.

My groomer has not been working do to a bad back and i needed to find a place quickly because my standard poodle was in desperate need of a haircut. I was nervous to try a new place but a client of mine told me she tried lux out and was very happy with how her doodles came out so I had my husband bring our poodle in and show them a picture of how we like him cut and it was like magic, he came out looking exactly like I was hoping and he seemed happy too.

I have taken my dogs here many times since they opened and they have always done an amazing job. One of my boys is a dog reactive, very large German Shepard and they know exactly how to handle him and keep him calm. I have never been anything but comfortable leaving my boys here. Availability is great, and the prices are industry standard. Sorry to hear some have been disappointed, but you can't please everybody!
