This is the greatest vet office in Portland. They go above and beyond and truly care about our pets. I recently lost my senior dog and just received a care package from them on my porch. That was such a sweet and caring gesture from my vet, Dr. Deena and secures my opinion that they are the best. Thank you for all your hard work and care. I know my new puppy is in great hands with you!

I am so grateful to have found the Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego. The staff are very kind, gentle, and professional with my pets; especially our nervous rescue dog. The vets are very thorough and always take the time to address all of my concerns. Even though we no longer live in Lake Oswego, we make a 2 hour trip just to go to their clinic. I could not recommend them enough to people who want a vet that cares about your animals as much as you do.

Dr. VanGundy and his team are wonderful people. They have gone above and beyond for our cat Bisky who had surgery here. We are so grateful for their care and excellence!

On google it says this vet clinic provides emergency vet services. When I called and explained my cat has a UTI & that we have an appointment for Wednesday, but we found blood in his stool, the woman who answered the phone responded with “We do not have any open appointments for 2 weeks, you’ll need to take him to an emergency vet” and hung up on me. Not to mention, that’s the one sentence she spoke to me and it was with the most frustration and attitude. I am incredibly disappointed I was treated this way, I even called back to say no one who works with/for other people and animals should be that impatient and hang up on a client/customer. Would never come here & strongly disagree with their advertising of “emergency vet clinic”.

My regular vet was booked out months, so I decided to try out this clinic. My dog had a cardiac procedure done. It was the same procedure she had had a year ago, at her regular vet. So, I was surprised when I was given my bill which was $300 more than it was last year. I inquired about this to the office manager named Wendy. She seemed surprised and offended that I would question my bill. I was condescended and given the run around, and never given an actual explanation of why it was so much more expensive. Wendy told me that this is the 'Whole Foods' of veterinary clinics, and I can expect to pay more. She also informed me that if I didn't like their pay structure, that I could take my business elsewhere. I guess it is my fault for having not inquired about the price ahead of time...though I just would never have dreamed that it would almost be double the price of an already very expensive procedure. I have a call out to the owner of the clinic, and am still hoping that something can be done. I will update this post if I get some good news!

We trusted our fur baby, Kevin, to Dr. Van Grundy to perform TPLO surgery on both his back legs. Dr. Van Gundy did a thorough job at explaining the surgery, informing us of the good, the bad and the ugly in addition to answering all our questions and taking excellent care of Kevin. I highly recommend Dr. Van Gundy for your dogs surgery needs. Thank you Dr.!

Animal Care Clinic is the greatest place for all your cats care from beginning to end. Since my cats were just kittens in 2002, over 17 years ago, they have been taking wonderful care of my cats. And now recently, one of our 17-year old cat's health quickly declined due to cancer, I must commend their euthanization process because was it was such a tranquil and peaceful experience. My first time going through it and I felt so supported. Their staff have always been so compassionate and caring. The clinic setup is so thoughtful and I appreciate their separate cat waiting area. Thank you so much!

I am a businessexecutive and owner so I tend to be very critical when I review anything.As a lifetime dog owner I tend to be very tough when it comes to Veterinary Clinics. I have dealt with some good ones and some bad ones through the years. That said I wanted to write this review because I have been so impressed with Parkway Veterinary Hospital (also known as the Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego). I first became aware of this facility in 2018 when my 8 year old Westie became ill. I was using a different clinic at the time but needed to split his time between my Vet and Parkway Veterinary Hospital. They provided great care but unfortunately there was nothing we could do to save him. As most pet owners know it can be devistating when you lose a pet as they are like family members. Luckily for us we met a wonderful Vet (Dr. Maree Doolan) who is on staff. Although she is a wonderful Vet what impressed us so much was how compassionate and caring she was. I told her at that time if we ever got another dog, she would be our Vet. Fast forward to today. We rescued a 2 year old mixed Terrier about 1 month ago and within 1 day of having him noticed he was not well. He ended up with Kennel Cough. It is not an easy thing to deal with, (especiallly for the dog). Luckily for us we checked with Parkway Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Doolan was still on staff. Unfortunately she was not in the day we needed to bring our new dog to them but luckily for us another Vet named Steve Haley was there. He took great care helping get our dog (Henry) better and as with Dr. Doolan found him to be not only a good Vet but a caring Vet. Henry is now getting better and better thanks to Dr Doolan, Dr. Haley and all of the staff at Parkway Veterinary Hospital. What we have noticed is everyone we have dealt with there, from the front office people to the Dr. Assistants to the Vets have all been wonderful. They all care and do a great job often under stressful circumstances. Imagine that a competent organization that gets the job done in a professional and courteous manner! I recommend Parkway Veterinary Hospital to anyone who owns a pet and is looking for a capable and caring Veterinary Clinic. They are terrific.

Amazing doctors and staff that made our corgi the most calm we've ever seen him at a vet before and then were able to get him in at the last minute a few days after our initial appointment for an urgent need. So glad we found this awesome business!

Animal Care Group of LO provides the best vet care in the area. We love that they also offer grooming and boarding services as well. The staff is extremely caring and the facility is very clean and organized. There are never long waits and it is easy to talk with someone after hours.

Dr Doolan and the team at ACGLO is amazing! Best bedside manner and top notch professionalism. We recently had to say goodbye to our 13 year old Schnoodle, and we couldnt have done it without them.

We were in a tough spot...our dog had a spinal injury and was in a ton of pain. Dr. Lisa called me 3 times in one day alone just check on our fur baby. That meant so much to know I wasn't in this alone. She was compassionate and thorough. Very much appreciated!

Dr van gundy performed a tplo surgery at crossroads vet for my lab Elizabeth. Her recovery so far is going very well. I appreciate his travelling to save me some money and the great care he took of my girl.

Dr. Lisa is amazing to work with. She takes the time to over options, stragity and cost on the care of our pets. She followed up with us on the initial visit to make sure our black lab was healing. We ended up having to bring her back in because we didn't want to do a full panel of testing on the first visit and wasn't recoving as we hoped. On the second visit we did more testing and discovered our girl has cancer. It's never easy news to explain but they handled it well and we're their to answer any questions we have. She called me again a couple weeks later to check in and see what we needed. They truly care about your pets needs understand that they are really your family members.

This place is outstanding in every aspect. Boarding: Raven and the gang who work in boarding are lovely--kind, attentive and invested in making sure our dog, Izzy, was comfortable in her new digs. We will be returning. VETERINARY: Dr. Gregg Takashima was thorough and caring when dealing with Izzy. She was comfortable--even relaxed-- when having her check up and shots. She really liked the place, and so did we. Glad to have found it!

WE have taken our dog to ACGLO since moving to Oregon 8 months ago. THe staff is great! THey are always professional and friendly and great with Barclay our dog. Dr. Inman is the best Vet we have ever been to. We know he will take good care of Barclay. WE would never consider going anywhere else for Veterinary care.

Had another wonderful experience here this week when my little dog, Emily, had to have a mass removed. The staff and Dr. Todd were all fantastic, and Emily did great while in their care. They even created an adorable Bravery certificate for her for being so good on her big day! While it may seem small, it was really special for us. Emily recovered very well, better than from any other procedure in the past, and her incision looks great, albeit ouchy! Every experience I have had here has been excellent, from the reception staff to the techs to the kennel to the doctors to the manager, we are treated with kindness, compassion, and genuine care every time. I have been in the field for 20 years and am very cautious about who I trust my pet to; I CHOOSE to bring my pup here because I know she will receive the best possible care from an amazing team.
