The staff is very friendly and does really try and work hard to get your pet seen in a reasonable time. The vet techs are also very nice and understanding with all my pets.

My dog is terrified usually at other vet offices. She was a lot more at ease at Companion.

My baby was taken care of above and beyond! She was comfortable as were we. Her diagnosis was expertly explained to us and all options provided. Follow up requests on how she is doing make us know she is cared about. I drove from West Seattle, and will definitely make the trip again as needed.

We just got a new puppy and when we went in for his first visit, they spent a lot of time going over what our puppy needed in reference to his shots, food and overall health. They did a very thorough check up and gave me some tips and tricks to use for some behavior issues. We went to Companion because several dog owners in our neighborhood recommended them to us. We were not disappointed.

The front staff is SO rude, if I could give them a zero, I would. This place does not care about you or your pet. The technicians are worse than the front staff.. I used to love them but it has gone so far down hill! Doctor turn over is high, that says something. I pulled my babies from their care recently because of the unprofessional, UNCARING demeanor when I was in an emergency situation with my dog. They could have cared less if I got treatment, they cared more that I kept my mask on. I left devastated and I am sure they didn't think twice. I have gone here for years, but not anymore. My babies are with doctors that care now. Awful place, I do not recommend!

Nice people, great customer interface. Dr is knowledgeable and asks questions and makes suggestions based on the answers regarding your pets.

We have been coming to Companion for many years. The expertise and care that our dogs receive is top notch. The only negative exception to the entire experience is that Penny the receptionist has become increasingly argumentative and confrontational and to put it bluntly very RUDE! If you are burned out then please get out as you are dragging down the rest of the team. Follow up - 10/21/21 Our most recent visits have been wonderful. All of the staff are very professional and helpful. Grateful to have this clinic in our neighborhood

Companion Veterinary Hospital is easily the most helpful vet we have ever worked with. The veterinarians and veterinary technicians are great with animals, which is to be expected, but at Companion, it's much more than that. They keep in touch with us, help us figure out how to give our dog Ginger (Belgian Malinois) her meds, and respectfully remind us of our scheduled appointments. Ginger is 14 years old, and we're in our fifth home since we got her (military moves), so we have been to many different providers over the years. This experience is much more like having a friend with a vet clinic, who really cares for our dog. This is especially helpful at this late stage in her life, as she is in much greater need of medical attention these days. Thank you, Companion Veterinary Hospital, for caring and for serving.

It was a meh for me.... The techs & Dr were great with my stressed, chonky and angry cat. They were caring and compassionate with the animals. From entering the exam room to walking out the front door, however, everything was rushed. I felt like I was in a sprint to get me out the door. I didn't have a conversation with the vet, I just got to listen while she talked AT me. She wasn't rude but wasn't personable either. I didn't get the impression that questions or comments were acceptable. My cat came to me at 18lbs a while ago and at the visit weighed 14lbs. Wanted to ask about some of her food behavior issues and ask for advise. Instead started to get a lecture on what cats should weigh and how much they should be fed with the distinct impression of disappointment in my pet ownership abilities. I did interrupt with the fact that she's lost weight but couldn't ask anything since the Dr started talking again. She only paused when asking for consent on products/additional charges. On leaving, was told the Dr would leave a quote for the teeth cleaning (to be done at another time) at the desk. 2 staff were in the waiting room and I was lucky I had time to kill so they could finish their conversation. Once the tech went to the back, the receptionist acknowledged me, not by a "Hey, how are ya?" or any other conversational courtesy but with the total of my bill. Again, tried to ask a couple of questions and it was clear that anything other than "here's my card" wouldn't be tolerated. There was a folder on the counter and I asked if it was supposed to be mine to take home and was told "it has her picture on it doesn't it". I assumed by the comment and tone it was spoken in, that I should just take it and leave. Wasn't given the quote and honestly forgot to ask about it since I was being rushed out the door. When I got home I called about the cleaning info and was told it would be sent to me. I asked that it be emailed but didn't get a confirmation that she would send it email and haven't received it as yet. Not sure I'll get it either since she didn't even ask who I was. All that being said, they were great with my furbaby. Willing to give it another shot as sometimes it's just an off day. However, if that is going to be the SOP for the humans, I'll consider other clinics.

Dr. Seems very nice, prices are affordable. Front desk is always rude. They seem very snappy all the time and you can tell they just want to get you off the phone as fast as they can. I’m in the process of looking for another vet with a friendlier staff.

Great veterinary, they gave both my wife and I the support we needed, especially when we had to euthanize one of our family pets which has been with the family for 15+ years.

Our little dachshund had her teeth cleaned and needed two extractions. She is doing very well post surgery and we are very happy with the quality of care and service.

Penny was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable about finances. She made me pay over the phone even after she said you typically pay after the visit which made me very uncomfortable.

So far this has been the best vet ever... I never give 5 stars, but if they continue this record of excellence, I may have to give them one... And that's a threat?

Penny is a very rude woman. If you are a man I'd stay away from this place! Not only from personal experience, but I have been in the waiting room as I watched her do the same thing to another man. But then when a woman comes up she is sweet . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DONT GO HERE!!! Bad prices too.

I’ve been taking my pets here for 15 + years. I’ve tried other places in town and the staff and doctors here are more compassionate, thorough and understanding.
