They sent my dogs shot record to my email so when he ran away the animal shelter didn't give him anymore. Thank you Banfield!

I recently left in July 2021. I had been taking my two small dogs to this particular Banfield for several years and both of them had seen all of the doctors on staff (never one doctor). The ladies and gentlemen at the desk have been incredibly kind and professional and have usually given me and my dogs everything we always needed. The doctors I feel have always been overwhelmed with too many patients. This has caused a loss in their ability to truly care for their patients. When do they have time to check the history of patients and really sit down and cross check current labs to past labs? I see Dr. Ono talking so fast and running from patient to patient sometimes (as I am in the waiting room) I wonder how she has time to truly give to her patients. Dr. McGrath seems to take the time but I feel like most times I go in there my appointment has been behind (I can't speak for everyone). I don't know how Banfield operates, but in the more dense cities with larger populations and a higher demand, more doctors should be provided, or they should take on less patients. My shitzhu died June 2019 of something that was likely detectable earlier on. I was unable to get her in to be seen over 2 weeks before she died because they were so busy. I kept calling but just kept taking her to the E.R. I still wish to this day that one of her doctors would have been able to see her.

Our dog got attacked by a cat and has some bad scratches. We have been a client for a long time and pay good money for a plan there and they told us it would be two months before they could see her and said oh by the way we aren’t an urgent care or hospital! Ridiculous unprofessionalism!! He literally could care less and that is the last place you should take your fur baby to people who don’t give a crud.

Everyone is always considerate and helpful

We’ve used Banfield for 7 years and never had any issues. Most locations are friendly and treat your pet like family. I’m not sure if it’s the stress of the pandemic and not being adequately staffed, but the past week I’ve dealt with rude and disrespectful staff. We recently had to rehome our dog after trying for years to warm him up to our boys. It wasn’t happening so we rehomed him for the safety of our boys and his sanity. I couldn’t get him in before I rehomed him so I made the family aware of prior health issues and let them know that if anything was found to be wrong during his exam, we would be footing the bill. Anyway, between my family, the new family, and Banfield, it’s been pure chaos. Snarky remarks about why we gave him up, inadequate care, rude techs as we tried to work together to get all information transferred to a new vet. Needless to say we won’t be returning to Banfield for our pets and the new family has been turned off completely.

If only i was rich.

Staff were so very warm and comforting with my pet even though she was a bundle of nerves. They made the whole experience less terrible for both of us.

Staff is very nice and they are efficient. The doctors will call you with any updates about your pets visit.

Doctors and staff were great, as always. We've had a pet under Banfield's care for more than a decade.

Was able to get on their waiting list for an urgent visit when the Emergency vets were full and I was in a panic. They were incredible, thorough, informative, and kind!

Always a good experience, they take great care of our cats and dogs, and especially our dog who has been healing from a broken leg and toe. Great attention to care.

These people do an amazing Job with my dog.

I had to come in for the worst reason possible... to have my dog put to sleep. They we very nice and very courteous. I was in a unique position where we were leaving the state to move for good and asked if they could ship his ashes to me and I offered to pay. They said they could definitely ship him to me and chose not to change me for it. I just received him and the box he was shipped in was very carefully designed not to disturb his ashes. Thank you so very much for being so kind. From the bottom of my heart.

Great place, everyone there was so caring for my old pup woody n now our new one sugar. They took such great care of my old boy and they were so kind when he got to sick to walk and we had to put him down????. Amazing how caring they are❤❤❤

Banfield in Lacey, WA's Dr. Brazil and Jess her assistant recently had to euthanize our beloved dog, Dash. I have been through this a number of times but the way it was handled there was far better than any other experience Ive had, odd to say. Banfield fit us in to a booked already day. Dr. Brazil did not try to upsell to us in our grief, she was gentle and kind, answered our questions honestly and allowed us to bring our dog to the car to do it. I hate this part of pet ownership with all my heart... But was grateful to have Dr. Brazil and Jess be there for us on this very sad occasion!

I’ve been taking dogs there for many years until they passed. From 10 weeks old to more than nine years they took excellent care of my girls. I always felt cared for. Much appreciation for all the work they do.

The staff there is very polite, helpful, and professional. Most importantly they take good care of both pet and pet owner.

I loved to they would treat my dog when he had his appointments and vaccines. They were friendly and helpful, but that’s not the reason I’m giving them 3 stars. The reason I’m giving them this rating it’s due to they sent my dog’s wellness plan got sent to collections and they never sent me a letter through the mail to make a payment, or an email. I never received anything like that. Now I can’t get my dog to get his vaccinations or check ups without making a huge payment which is pricey. Every time I call banfield contact center I can’t never get a hold of someone. I leave messages and no response from anyone. I wish they can be more helpful.

Knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated staff. They really take care of my dog and answer all my questions patiently.

Never had any issues with Banfield. They have always done a great job with my pets! Most recently my kitty needed her eye cut out and they did a great job!
