Staff always ask if we need anything and they have a fantastic selection of fish and shrimp every time we visit.

Overall good store, several of their bettas need some attention. Two of them had green water in their cups, saw one dead betta.

They have a bit of everything for many domestic pets. Seems to be more focused on fish and birds. It's not a chain big box store. The place is a bit old and dated looking but the service is very solid and friendly.

I just am lost for words. 20 Parakeets are in 1 small cage and so dirty. Poor birds . food was all over bottom of cage mixed in with poop. I wont buy anything live from this store. Its too bad for the birds . they need help

I like this place. They have a good variety of fish which are healthy. It has that Mom and Pop feel to it which is a lot more comfortable than other pet stores. They had a very helpful staff. I got these two loaches which were exactly what I was looking for. And they were even nice enough to give me a calendar of pets which was super cute! Definitely will shop here again they have interesting animals and fish.

I have been coming here since I came to America in 1989. Great people. Great fish. Great pets. Definitely worth checking it out and making the drive!!!

This place has the biggest selection of driftwood I've been able to find. I was able to get three 18 inch pieces for under $40.

Place some nice fish that most basic pet stores don't have

Have everything for every kind of pet for a good price.. but could use a bit more cleaning

I love this place and they have This cute cat mascot who walks around super friendly. 5 stars would reccomend

While they do have a large variety, the animals here do not seem well cared for. Dirty/dusty enclosures, toys, cages and in the case of birds poor nutrition. There are cobwebs all over and cluttered walkways that are not up to code. Staff are helpful and kind, but something is not right.

The animals here deserve so much better… Dirty tanks and enclosures.. many animals without water or food… no enrichment, hides, etc. Too small of cages… Owners do not care. Don’t support this business, help report them. Have no idea how they are allowed to be open. It’s heartbreaking

Been coming here since early 2000's staff is great and very helpful. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll make sure they can get it for you..

Best place to get good for exotic and reptile pets.

Very cool store have live fish food and plants also they are able to order fish species that they dont have in stock also very knowledgeable thanks will definitely be back

This is a nice store. It has some fish that you won't find at a big chain store so that's a plus. One thing that I wish they did have was a bigger selection of fish food.

Petco never has crickets. I learned from an empathetic employee to come here. Awesome parrot inside the store. I regret not coming here sooner.

Love coming here to grab certain pet supplies and fish that we can’t find at our closer pet stores….The staff Alex who is very knowledgeable about animals and the other employee Jasmine are very helpful to us every time we shop here….It’s the other two elder men who seem like it’s about that time to retire and rest….The store needs way more help in the store when traffic rushes in meaning they need more employees to help ring up or grab fish for customers

I worked her as a teenager and love this pet store and that guy that owns it is very dear to my heart. Robbie is like an older brother to me!! And i still to this day get all my reptile and small animal needs from here. Yes, it's dusty and very cluttered in the back with tanks and such... But it's the most unique and "warm" pet store that i prefer to shop at, and that even for for large chain pet stores.. Robbie is such a warm personality and he is so helpful, making it that much better to come here and support rather than elsewhere for the same things. Midway will always be like home, no matter how old and dusty it gets! ????

We stopped here for the first time just to look at what they have... They have birds that are sad as hell in dirty cages, they have all sorts of fish who are also neglected. The whole store has piles of clutter everywhere and reminded me of the show Hoarders (ZERO exaggeration). After seeing those birds and fish we put our item(1) we were gonna buy, back. And left. As an animal lover I'm very upset after going here. Shame

Great local business. Outgoing staff and very knowledgeable. Teddy is my favorite tho. Don't touch him unless you know parrots and he likes you.????

We bought some budgies. The woman that helped us was really great Very patient while we picked out birds and a pleasure to speak with.

We don't go nowhere else the workers are awesome and sweet and they have amazing prices way better than petco or any other pet store
