Animal Clinic of Benson Kent, Washington

After waiting in parking lots for hours at other vets only to not get any answers and pay way too much, we switched to Animal Clinic of Benson in 2020 and have had several amazing experiences with them since then. Rates for dental/anesthesia were much cheaper than other vets quoted us and they were able to cleanup an infected tooth instead of extract it (saving even more!). She's dealt with ear infections her whole life and this is the first place to recommend sedating her for a deep clean (an easy decision since they don't overcharge for anesthesia!). For the first time in years she isn't digging in her ears and crying. On multiple occasions they've been booked full for the week but found ways to get us in on the same day when we had a concern and never once have we waited more than 20 minutes to see the vet tech. They always take the time to explain what they see, what we should watch out for, and we always leave feeling confident that we know what's up with our pup and how to help her. We also have a reactive rescue and the staff make a point to get all other animals into rooms before I bring him in/out which has been such a blessing for this anxious pup. The front desk staff are also the best!

The best vet found in WA! I cannot recommend them highly enough. I called to get an assessment of tooth extraction on my fur baby and they quoted an estimate. The estimate came in much lower than other vets (almost by 50%), and then guess what, they actually ended up charging less than their original quote. Who does that? Have you ever found a vet where you get less than what they quoted in the first place? The bill always creeps up, it never goes down, but yes Animal Clinic of Benson did. Dr. Jeong was fantastic, he was friendly to my fur baby, he was professional and friendly in general. After the surgery, he gave a quick overview of what happened during the surgery and sweet a goodbye to my baby. It seemed they actually care, not just for the money but they care about the animals. We were advised to drop off at 8:30 AM for the surgery, and the place was packed at 8:20 AM. They were open before the opening hour. Everything that went on during my visit felt good and promising about this place. I was referred by my friends to this place. But reading other reviews, this place already does a good job. They are always available to get your animal in quickly and they are very reasonable with their prices. They do a fair business! We drove for just 30min to come to this vet and it was worth it. Also, they let the owners into the exam room in Dec-2021. This is a huge plus! Go, without a doubt, just go!

Dr. Lee is the best and him and his family are all amazing caring and kind people whom actually care about animals and not money like some people whom call themselves veterinarians. We got lucky and he saved our meow meows tail and it was basically after hours when we brought her in and he still opened the door for us and took her in that night. I'm always super emotional going into the vet for any animal ever but especially my meow meow kitty and dr.lee is very kind and very comforting and so is all his staff always and I know his family would be too I've only seen them there once but they r gorgeous people and dr Lee and his family are beautiful and amazing people's. I couldn't of asked for more in a vet clinic then what he and his family and staff provide for our pets. You would think all the animals brought in were their own pets. That's how they are treated by them. Also they understand and are very helpful and work with you when it comes to payment. They all truly care and in the world we live in nowadays you don't see many kind caring and understanding people like to the extent that everyone I've ever encountered at this families clinic. Dr. Lee and his staff took us in on an emergency walk in visit for our male cat (turned out to be bladder stones). We were turned away at several other clinics due to them being at capacity and because it was the weekend. Luckily this clinic was able to take us in before his condition got too bad, and he was out in a couple hours after some TLC from the amazing staff. They were quick to help out my little guy in his time of need which I am forever grateful for. Thank you guys so much for your help, and I appreciate the hard work you put in especially during all these staffing shortages which has hit the veterinary industry hard. You rock!!

Great professional service. I shopped around and they were the best price with the best reviews. They also do small pet neutering. I neutered my guinea pigs there and the price couldnt be beat saved me so much money. Basically 10/10 would recommend

Great experience today when I took my pom in for a tooth cleaning. The Dr patiently went over everything with me, and unfortunately my old girl had to have many extractions. That being said, I’m happy with the call the Dr made and the whole experience overall. Highly recommend!

I was introduced by my very good friend who brings all her pets here and for many years. I was very impressed with all the front end staff, greeted with friendly smile and very personable. Dr. Lee tended to my kitten for 2nd booster shot and very pleased with Doctors and the kitty seemed to like Dr. Lee very much. Then left the clinic, then realized, I forgot to pay the clinic for the booster shot. Soon as I got home called the clinic to pay for booster shot for kitty and the clinic thanked me for calling in❤️????❤️

Very affordable with great care. Took my dog in assuming she had diabetes. She unfortunately did but we were very quickly able to find treatment and have it explained very clearly to the point where I had no worries!

The staff here is so kind and loves animals so much. When our cat got extremely sick all of a sudden, they graciously accommodated an emergency walk-in appointment and, after a quick examination, put her on an IV so she could regain her strength. We're so thankful! And the cost wasn't astronomical, unlike so many emergency animal clinics. We cannot recommend a better hospital to take your furry family to.

I have been taking my dogs here for almost 8 years. Dr. Lee is so caring, does not charge an arm and a leg and really helps determine the best, least evasive treatments. I highly recommend going here.

I just wish there will be more vets that cost reasonable and affordable like Animal Clinick of Benson

The two vets here (Dr. Lee & Dr. Jung) are kind, efficient, & practical. Our new pup, a senior rescue, is very skittish & reserved, but he was immediately calm when they were examining him. This clinic is very popular & an added bonus is their prices are very reasonable.

My puppy went to get his last shot rabies and supposedly another physical exam since I get charge additional $30 every time. The doctor skipped to check his temperature nor his oral check. Did not even ask me if I have a question or concern. I like the younger VET and I believe Dr. Hyonjoo Jung because he does and go over every detail of my puppy's exam.I would highly recommend him.

My senior dog was having issues with his rear paws, and we took him to this vet, everything seemed okay, but they gave us 3 different medications, that did not help him at all it made him worst, he stopped eating completely, and unfortunately we had to put him down, due to his rear paws worsening, and other complications, but I asked another vet and I myself did some research and they gave me a drug for my dog for “heart failure” even though he was completely fine, the only issues were his rear paws.

very disappointing If I had known I would have never taken my dog there. I would never put my dog under this Vet’s care again. There are better options. Please make sure you find the right Vet. for your dog.

Dr. Lee fixed the luxating patella conditions on both legs of my dog. I am very grateful that the surgery is doen well. The wound is cleanly stitched up and the bandage is tightly wrapped. Our dog recovered to normal functionality after a month. We've seen Dr. Lee and Dr. Jung for the past two years. They are very knowledgeable about the dogs to recommend the proper procedures and they are also very friendly to the dogs. The other staff in the clinic are also very friendly to the pets. We have a much better experience at Animal Clinic of Benson compared to Urban Animal.

This is hands down the best vet I have ever been too!!! I live 30minutes away and it is worth the drive. They actually care about your animals. Shall always come here! Our Lucifer had ingested some horrid stuff(plastic,hair and a type of string)...they got him in very quickly! Very very quickly for the sudden appointment, kept us upto date on his surgery and was kindly considerate of how much it all would cost. Didnt even seemed phased by my frantic screaming/crying in the background when we called.???? Profesional as could possibly be! Dr. Lee put us at ease and was extremely friendly. They cared for him beautifully and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for saving this boy♡
