Great care and communication. Quick 3 AM visit to make sure doggo was OK. They listened to and addressed all of my concerns. I would recommend to anyone

They advised a 3-4hr wait time when every other emergency clinic was closed to new patients or had a 6-8hr wait time. We ended up only waiting for 1.5hrs, staff were knowledgeable and very kind, and the price appeared reasonable for the amount of work done.

Awesome place. Called everywhere within an hour of our home and this was the only place willing to see our dog who needed emergency treatment. Was told I may have to wait 4-8 hours as they were overwhelmed with people needing help, but wound up getting our dog seen after only 3. I could tell the vet (Dr. Brown I believe... it's been a couple months) really cared about the animals well being, and took the time to explain what treatments were needed, why, and the possible outcomes; as well as the costs associated. She has since made a full recovery with no complications. So glad we stumbled upon this place. Wouldnt hesitate to take my pet here again if needed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had to take my pup in on Christmas night due to kennel cough he contracted through a doggie day camp that was progressively getting worse. They got us in within 20 mins of arriving and were super awesome! The front office girls were so sweet with him and the vet, Dr. Rule, called to let me know how he was. Explained everything in detail and listened to my concerns. They were so affordable even with the injection and medications they sent home. They were much less expensive than his regular vet would have been for a “during business hours” visit. I would highly recommend them! He is already feeling better one day after seeing them

We were there on Christmas Eve. I was impressed with the Vet & the staff. Friendly, answered all my questions & treated my do mg with so much care. Great experience & reasonably priced compared to other emergency pet card

Please do yourself and your pet a favor and DO NOT bring your pet here. Called and was told that we would be accepted but we had to sit in the parking lot waiting for 5+ hours. Our cat had been vomiting for days and was not acting normal. We dropped off our cat and picked him up an hour later which they would then charge me $300+ and they said all he had was a stomach virus and fever. On top of that they said additional exams would cost me $900+ so affordable? Not really…Now he’s vomiting again and I gotta wait for blue pearl to have an opening so they can tell me what’s actually wrong. If I’m going to pay that much, it’ll be to a business that can actually do their job. Definitely not coming back after reading their past reviews. I should’ve done my research more throughly. Avoid this shotty “affordable clinic”.

Because of CoVid, call ahead of time.. they will then direct you to the website to fill out information about your pet. When you get there, they call you to the door with your pet; you wait in your car until they call you after examination to discuss treatment. This system is so simple and efficient, and these folks are kind, responsive and professional. I'm so lucky I called this place, and will be bringing my kitty issues here forever. Thank you folks so much!

Took our greyhound here after she ingestion a large chunk of a nylabone. Called ahead to confirm availability, and filled out all paperwork online. Staff was kind and sweet to our girl (took extra time to talk sweetly to her and give her good pets), who was a bit nervous. Once the procedure was done- she didn’t want to leave. Lovely experience, I felt like we were in great hands/paws.

They call affordable and I didn’t see anything affordable in there, they literally put a lot a pressure in my shoulders at 3 in the morning to make the surgery for my dog in less the 5 hours with the Ridiculous amount of money plus It was weekend and they told me, (keep in mind if you take him somewhere else it will be more), I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I took my dog to Sumner Veterinary Hospital they charge me half of the price.

These folks are really busy so I definitely understand the wait times! Just make sure your dog reallllly needs help before you go here, because they're busy, guys. Make sure to also verify and agree to all the prices before you enter the building and they accept you as a patient. If you're worthy of their services, make sure you ask a ton of questions! Otherwise, they're just so busy that it's hard for them to communicate with you on what's going on with your pet and what to do going forward. If you think your dog broke his leg, make sure you tell them your medical opinion, or else they might not do x-rays. But that's just because of how busy they are, you have to understand. While your pet is with them, make sure you check in! If you don't they might forget why they have your pet, but they're just so busy so that's understandable. Remember, only come here if your dogs life is threatened. Actually you should go to SUMNER VET HOSPITAL, they're absolutely amazing. Great communication, great vet tecs that actually care, and professional doctors! Affordable Animal Clinic was awful.

My dog was attacked by another dog. We live in Kitsap county and there was absolutely no emergency clinics accepting animals anywhere - except for this one. They told me it would be a 2-4 hour wait once I got there - and it was about 2.5 hours. I appreciated the honesty, and after they took my dog they took such good care of him. Dr. Brown even apologized for the long wait, even when there was so many cars outside waiting for their animals to be seen and he was the only vet. And on top of all of that - the bill was so much less than it would have been if I had gone anywhere else. My dog is now recovering happily at home. Thank you so much, Dr. Brown and staff!

Would not see my dog, said they were at capacity. Called ahead to be polite and not expose other dogs. Not true pet emergency.

Amazing service we were quoted a normal 2-4 hour wait time but we’re completed treated and seen in less that 30 minutes! Made a first time puppy owner feel heard and understood. My girl is now fully taken care of and given antibiotics! ❤️ Thank you!

They took good care of my 2 puppies, they addressed my concerns and questions and actually were able to get my puppies checked out within a reasonable amount of time for an emergency clinic compared to sumner clinic that gave me a 12hr in-person wait time. I will say they are currently curbside service only due to COVID-19 (meaning once you’ve arrived and filled out the paperwork they’ll come get your dog while you wait in your car during the entire appointment) I personally prefer to be in person but since most clinics aren’t taking in new patients, this curbside will make do since this is now the norm for most clinics. So don’t worry about it, Dr.Brown will end up giving you a call with all the details and answers to your questions towards the end of the visit.

If I could give negative stars I would this place is horrible sat in a parking lot for 3 hours and called multiple times to see why it was taking so long and they kept saying we are almost next just had to finish up and then another girl said their was someone else’s in front of us but we were the only ones there so we just left. This place is ghetto

I live in Lacey and everywhere here couldn't see my puppy due to full capacity or dr was in surgery. I called affordable animal emergency clinic and I filled out some forms online and I headed over there. I waited in parking lot and they were able to see Luna. Price was affordable, I was expecting more but it was reasonable. My puppy had an infection on her spay suture area. They prescribed antibiotics and other medications, they explained everything in detail. I was relieved and grateful they were able to see my puppy. Thank you so so much.

Thank you all for taking such good care of Blue. We've been to other emergency vets throughout the past and this was honesty the most affordable round of care we have ever gotten. I had called as soon as I found out our dog had eaten a full bundle of green onions when we were out for dinner, they checked if they had space, we drove down as quickly as we could, and they took him straight in. It may have been a long wait overall but that is completely understandable and worth it to know he'll be okay. We appreciate everything you did, we can tell your hearts are huge. We're happy he's at home again, resting and recouping after his long night

We brought our dog in due to an emergency. My husband and I were very pleased with the level of service that we received from the staff and veterinarian. They were honest about pricing & their wait times, efficient (especially during covid times), and knowledgeable about my dogs diagnosis. We are very appreciative for their professionalism during such trying times.

Have herd many stories of them doing all sorts of expensive testes on dogs when the answer is usually obvious. Don't be surprised if they tell you you have to put your pet down after 1000$ worth of tests.

Do not bring your pet here! We waited over 2 hours after we had called and they said we should bring her in they were concerned. They said there were 3 dogs in there and we would be next. Two hours later we watched someone bring 3 new dogs in and leave. When we called they claimed they were owned by the owner of a dog that was already inside, and they had eaten rat poisoning. However that owner left without any dog! And, my dog was possibly choking and had an emergency as well. We were not there because we felt like going to the emergency vet for 3 hours!!! Horrible horrible service!! Extremely unprofessional and did not care in the least about our dog! Do not go to this place! My dog never was seen and we sat there with her choking and coughing in the car all that time.. They never even came out to look . I fear the care she would have received here would have been less than acceptable based on what happened. Beware!!! This is one of those times I wish there was a 0 stars option!

Waste of time! Not affordable AT ALL ... they took my dog and had me waiting in my car for hours only to call and say they won’t help unless charged for my dog to be examined which I was fine with until they called to say the doctor can’t know more unless they do an X-ray AND CHARGED WAYYYY MORE FOR THAT only to tell me they need to put my dog down after so many hours!!!!! When I had talked to the Doctor he did not sound like he cared, was getting irritated at the questions I was asking and was not helpful AT ALL & the staff didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. Wouldn’t trust coming here again all they care about is the money and not the animals!!!!!! I feel like if I had went to another VET my dog wouldn’t have died

My 9 year old Keeshonde ate 11 trail mix bars, which contained raisins. After our local vet triaged our dog, we sought in-patient dog care for 72 hour monitoring for raison poisoning. Affordable Animal Clinic was clear and instructive as to the treatment options, intake time, cost and treatment recommendations. We elected for in-patient care, 3 days. During this time, we were able to call twice daily to check in on our dog and receive updates from the vet for lab and bloodwork. After 3 days, our dog returned home safely. The Affordable Animal Clinic quote and treatment plan did not deviate from what they prescribed to me, upon in-take. I would take me dog here for any future in-take treatment.

Our dog was experiencing extreme pain in his hips and back. We waited 5 hours for them to tell us he needed to be put down. They didn't give him anything for his pain until we were leaving to go somewhere else. The whole place felt very business oriented. The doctor was helpful and honest, but the support staff at the front were flippant and rude.
