"Wait outside and stay parked at the parking lot until we get your pet. Don't leave." I am waiting. My boy is already half dead, yet they prioritize vaccinations over emergencies. I called and checked in 4 hours ago when they said I only had to wait 2 hours in my car. Is this really a walk-in? I couldve gone home and let my baby eat or drink, but they insist keeping you in the parking lot. They don't care about priority or your family.

Tough time for me my Dog needed to be seen in an Emergency. They got me in right away, for same day evaluation of life, unfortunately I had received bad news of his condition. Everyone was so helpful and patient and cared about me and my old Dog. They were nice to me. Maybe it was the look on my face but they spoke to me respectfully and I appreciated that. We went home and had the rest of week together but now Otto is resting. Thank you

Been going there for many years..sometimes it hard to get seen through the walk in but by appointment I havnt had any issues. The staff there are so friendly and when I needed there help they got me in the same day. I appreciate them and I would recommend them. They take good care of my two German shepherds. And I love them for that.

Had great experiences in the past but today, I called ahead before going in said short wait but couldn't schedule appointment had to come in. Got there filled out the form texted the number like directed. Waited an hour and a half with no response tried to call the office multiple times with no answer finally left and about ten minutes down the road the first communication I got from them was informing me that they wouldn't be able to see my dog. Could have told me that at check in huge waste of time. Go somewhere else.

We called to see if they were available to see our dog that is currently very sick however they are at capacity and they couldn’t see him but later she has the audacity to say “if your pet passes away we offer cremation services”.

Had to wait in the parking lot for 5 hours to get a prescription refilled. How is this place allowed to operate like this?

Since Covid we haven't been able to get in, sign the clip board, check in through text.... But never hear back so we try calling to give it one last try, they place me on hold and never return. After sitting in our car for over 2 hours and not hearing anything we've driven off. And still never hear back. This has happened to us twice already over the last year!

Very caring and thoughtful people! The doctor told us everything of what was wrong with our puppy and the price is very good and the doctor is very very thoughtful! I recommend coming here!

Great staff. Kind and helpful. Great prices. We did have a bit of a wait but it was because we were 'walk in' with no appointment. Will continue to use this location for future vet needs.

The quality of care and friendliness of staff is top-notch whenever I am able to get my pet taken care of, don't get me wrong. However, the issue is being able to see them at all! The wait times are ridiculously long! If you don't get to the front entrance at least half an hour before opening, (waiting in the cold weather at times given the typical Western Washington weather) you will 95% not be seen that day. This vet is extremely unorganized and needs to find a better way to see as many pets as possible. An appointment system would make things 10x easier. Take your pet and your money elsewhere for now.

Appointment was at 4pm and wasn’t checked in until 4:45pm with no update on timing. Routine check up, required shots and skin test - left at 5:45pm. The vet was unaware of previous cleanings done with them or other necessary shots due at this time. $110 for exam, shot, and skin test. Dental cleanings went up from $125 to $492, which includes X-rays, but as high as $899. No longer ‘afford-a-vet’ but the staff is in good spirits as they are understaffed and the COVID regulations add challenges to their intake and check out process. 2 stars due to a scheduled appointment taking 1.75 hours. Recommend setting expectations in advance; everyone is working longer and harder.

They killed my german shepherd maverick by misdiagnoses. They made us come back three times starting friday night, Saturday morning, and on sunday we took him in and he was declining. They still hadnt even treated him or diagnosed him. He wasnt eating or drinking. We finally had to take him to blue pearl where they immediately said it was a bacterial infection called lepto attacking his kidneys. Afford a vet should be shut down. Maverick passed away and these vets were responsible for his death. Absolutely horrible.

Covid has ruined this places service. It's okay if you can get in. They serve about ten walk in people (edit; only five people today) a day. You get here an hour early or you dont get in at all. Unless you're putting your pet down they don't do appointments. Goodluck.

Took my cat there for a exam he wasn’t feeling good not eating or drinking lost weight four hours later and$600.00 they said I’d have wait till Monday for the lab work to come back they took X-rays also we have a feeling he has come down with a feline COVID like his older step brother did three months earlier. Took him to reber ranch they took X-rays and we new what was wrong with in 15 mins had to put him down so I would not recommend afford a vet

They are so lovely. They are careful with our pets and atencious as well. I have an appointment on next week and I am already excited because l know simba is gonna be well taken care

The best place I recommend This place and their vet save my cat about 3 years ago they were compassionate about my situation cause I was tight in money . While other place told me to put him to sleep. They said don't worry will do the surgery you will paid what you can afford.

This was my dogs main vet but I called in and I spoke to someone really nice and she set up a appointment with me because she said they are not taking new clients and appointment only . So I go in for my appointment for my dog and my dog is in pain and some lady with really short hair doesn’t say hi, how are you, not welcoming at all. The first thing she said to me was, we don’t do appointments at this time so why are you here? Then I said I made an appointment over phone and she said she don’t see nothing on schedule and then was rude to me when I said what’s the best thing I can do at this point and she said be here at 8am first come first serve and sent me off.. never have I had this problem here usually they are really nice but not this visit. I ended up taking my dog somewhere else and they took her in right away. Whoever that lady in front with short hair was rude and I’m a business owner myself and that was not customer service at all.

It took calling this place 12 times to get a response to just transfer my pets records elsewhere. Extremely low on staff, expect to wait several hours even if you have a scheduled appointment. You will need to call several times to get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment or even just check in once you’re there. Great value if you’re in a pinch with finances but steer clear of this place at all other costs.

First the person on the phone seemed annoyed to have to explain the “hybrid” system they use for Appointments. Then I was told to be there for a list that was put outside to sign up for walk up appointments. Can’t have a new pet appointment as a scheduled visit. No big deal. Except I waited an hour after the time I was told and no list was put out. There were about 15 people outside. The tech continued to take appointments and never acknowledged the people for walk up visits. I found the customer service here completely unprofessional.

If I could give no star, I would. The only person who listened to me was the manager I spoke to. We waited 7hours in the hot car with my sick dog (after getting there before they opened and being the literal 5th person in line), to be forgotten about, have to remind them I was there, have a vet be the snottiest human on the planet to me, and then have to ASK to have his illness treated because the vet didnt "think it's bad enough". The vet continually accused me of yelling at her (which I wasnt, I had the phone on my car bluetooth and the other patrons standing next to me even said I was using a calm tone, but speaking up because of the bluetooth). She then tried to say that my dog has a neurological disorder/brain tumor, which I know he doesnt and she would have too if she had just listened to me. I will never be back. There is so so so much more, but theres honestly not enough room to explain all of it. But if you love your pet and care about your time being wasted, pay the extra money and go elsewhere. I used to refer everyone I know to this place, and I have taken my dog here before, but never ever again. They are so unprofessional, uncommunicative, and rude.

Only had one bad experience at this place and it was because of my dog being skittish and too strong. Otherwise they are usually very polite and friendly. Wait times vary depending on time of day but with the new appointment times its easier. Most if not all of the staff are friendly

Drop ins are great. Don't bother making an appointment unless you like waiting 50 minutes in a hot car. Even if you ask them if they're running behind - 40 minutes before your appointment - they'll say it's only 20 minutes. I'll spend more and take my cats somewhere else where they don't have to wait in the car.
