They seem a little pricey compared to my previous vet. With that said, they are amazing and feel like my dog's comfort is always a priority. It is an amazing place, I would highly recommend it.

I was new to Tri-Cities in 2020 and looking for a new vet to care for my 3 dogs. My little Carly tore out some stitches, I took her to the Pet Emergency office and saw my prior vet Dr. Jay Huang there. He recommended VCA Meadow Hills. Taking my dogs to the vet during the onset of Covid was hard because I could not go in with them or interact with the vet. Yes, I could chat on the phone but that is not the same as being in the room with them. Still, I believe VCA Meadow HIlls is a very caring Vet Office; their office staff, vet techs and vets are friendly and helpful. I will be moving to Olympia in 6 months; I know there are at least 2 VCA Vet offices there so hopefully my transfer will be easier.

Has helped us with each of our dogs that have serious health problems. A little on the pricey side, but our dogs are worth the care they receive here.

Unfortunately I bought a malnourished and neglected bearded dragon from a yard sale, very devastating to see how skinny and how weak he was. VCA was able to schedule me next day as it was urgent. From upon arrive to leaving there clinic was a pleasant visit. Dr Small and her assistant were very kind and concerning towards the little guy. They provided me with all the information needed to have hope for the little guy. Going in I did expect for my bill to be high especially for the condition the little guy was in but the pricing was decent and not a lot. Thank you VCA Staff!!

I take my two dogs here. They have amazing customer service, staff, and availability. I just want to say thank you for taking care of my Bruce and Oliver. And I also very much appreciate that you go over the prices of things before charging. Doctor Small and Peck always do a great job of explaining everything and making sure my dogs feel comfortable. Also, the front reception staff and the nurses that take my doggies back are always very sweet and helpful. Thank you for the exceptional service.

I was a little skeptical about this place at first after reading some negative reviews, but I can honestly say that this place has exceeded my expectations. Since I recently moved back into Kennewick, my pet was not seen by a vet in town yet. I was looking for a place to get my cat seen after recently being diagnosed with a spontaneous pneumothorax and no one was taking new clients except VCA Meadow Hills. Despite everything going on with COVID-19 and having to wait in the car (which is already stressful because it's heartbreaking to hand off your pet through a window), I did not have to wait long. All of the staff that I have spoken to over the phone or at the car have been amazing. I really like Dr. Small and I haven't even met her in-person yet! She is very sweet, caring, and I felt like she had my pet's best interest at heart. The staff have great communication and follow-up over the phone to make sure your pet is okay/improving. Overall, I am very pleased with this place and have found the perfect place for my cat. Thank you to the awesome staff!

DO NOT USE. The pet’s comfort IS NOT in their best interest but it would appear money is. I know my cat of 14 years. I know his history. His medical issue is such where his comfort is best for him to pass. Transporting him 10 miles to our regular veterinarian will be too stressful. But driving 1.5 miles is not an option due to “need to check him ($$), need records (time and $$)”. The end result will still be the same. So now I have a pet in pain and have to wait and WATCH him suffer further.

Very friendly staff, the Dr explains everything and really cares about your pet! She took the precautions of waiting to do my dogs dental cleaning because of how his heart was sounding the day he went in for it. That probably saved his life!

Visited on 2/26/2020...I brought in a female K9 that is feeding puppies and had possibly gotten mastitis. The dog had a 104 degree temperature. I understand that it was a walk in and I did not have an appointment, but know one would even come out and talk to me for a quick consult. But the receptionist said I could leave the dog there and they might get to her and told me that since the dog had not been seen there since 2018 that a general exam would have to be done. Well no kidding, if the dog has a 104 degree temp and has a bacteria infection that could possibly kill her, shes going to need an exam...once again, collecting a general exam fee seems more important than the overall health of the animal. If you want to be a neighborhood vet, maybe help out the neighborhood.

I scheduled an appointment to have my dogs vaccinated. They called me an hour before my appointment to see if I could reschedule for tomorrow, because their surgeries were taking longer than expected. Unfortunately I could not. I scheduled them for my day off during the week and I had made the appointment a couple weeks in advance. They said that was fine. They would fit me in at my scheduled time. When I arrived, they told me I needed to reschedule because they were overbooked. I explained the prior phone conversation and they put me on hold. When they came back, they said the best they could do is take the dogs from me and get to them later. I asked if they could call me when they had time and I would bring them back since I live only 5 minutes away. That didn’t work for them. I guess I will look for a new veterinarian. I don’t want my dogs to sit in cages for hours because they overbooked. They had no sense of responsibility for their scheduling errors and did nothing to try to work with me. My dogs are not going to be punished because of their mistake.

Very professional, efficient and pleasant service. Staff made both of my dogs comfortable with the exams. Dr. Peck has been very thorough and was able to find the issue our dog was having that other vets failed to uncover and prescribed the correct and successful treatment. Would not hesitate to return for vet care.

Dr. Serreyn is absolutely fabulous and it is the reason we take our pets there, caring compassionate and knowledgable . Besides Emily who is very professional, the front desk is completely useless. 1. They confirm a prescription has been called in only to find it has not. They get not only the prescription name incorrect, they can’t find the pet’s name. 2. Per their protocol we brought our pet to the vet yesterday. We called to notify them of our arrival, after waiting for 15 minutes in the car to collect our dog, no show??? I again called them again, the response “ Didn’t someone collect your dog??? no kidding why do you think I called you and just explained all that 3. I have asked their practice manager to call me for the past 3 days, still holding my breath. Next port of call DOH. Very disatisfief with the front desk staff

Way too expensive. I've taken my pup there once, only because I had a coupon for first time visit. It was still very expensive for 1 puppy shot and dewormer. Then I called for a quote for microchipping, it was almost triple the cost than competitors(~120 vs. 35). Do your research. I understand you get what you pay for, but puppy shots, microchipping and standard services shouldn't break the bank. Staff were nice but not worth returning.

We've been bringing our dogs to Meadow Hills for several years now and have always enjoyed great service and care. They show that concern by making appointments easy to make and in the quality of care our dogs have received. I would highly recommend them.

My hedgehog was itchy& had red sores and irritated skin. Dr. Smalls is an exotic vet, she checked him out & was very kind. When we went back for our recheck a little over a week later he was so much better. We will come back & see her again! Thanks for helping our hedgehog. We even found a new patient coupon on their site. ????

Our Westie has been boarded and is a treated at Meadow Hills for over 10 years. The vets are proactive and the staff has always gone out of their way to accommodate us. Proud parent of an almost 11 year old dog that is mistaken for a puppy. We use this facility for all of his medial, dental and dietary needs ...AND BOARDING. Any concerns have always been addressed in a professional manner. Our most recent visit was for routine bloodwork and immunization. It prompted a change in diet and many phone calls to their office. Their concern and response was greatly appreciated. Thank you Meadow Hills!

I've taken my cats in this specific location and they are so friendly and remember you whenever I come in. I had a sick cat and the staff were so welcoming and the vet especially was so helpful and when she was not available another vet from that location called me back to assist me. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for an office with vets that care about your pet and will spend time to get to know you and answer all your questions - this is not the office for you. This office is busy, rotates through vets so you don't see the same one, and the couple that I've seen with my dog, never bothered to learn any specifics about my dog and I or ask questions about what we do and what our goals are as dog and handler. The front desk staff could care less about you; the nicest people in the entire office are the vet assistants. Also overpriced for the service you receive.

I have been going to this clinic for about 13 years now. This clinic used to provide much better pet care and administrative service. At our last appointment, my vet said to my pet that oh come on you’re too old to be scared, and even after I asked for him to pet him and talk to him first, just pulled him over and started the exam. My dog is very sweet and gentle but he was scared; I am very disappointed in the poor level of care, especially when it used to be good. Over the past several years of me coming in an average of once every three months to purchase routine pet care medicines and supplies, they have not completed my orders correctly as they confirmed on the phone that they would, (so I have either had to come back 1-2 more times or order from another pharmacy), and they have also incorrectly charged me. I recently had to put one of my doggies down at that clinic—which was a really sad time for me—but yet they still sent a reminder after that he was due for a vaccine. Overall, I think that some of them genuinely care for animals and I appreciate that! Mostly they are sloppy, do not follow through on what they say they will do, and do not provide very good animal care.

I had to visit today to have our pet cat euthanized. The staff were friendly, kind, and compassionate, making a difficult process go as smoothly as possible. They made sure I understood everything that was going on and treated my pet with respect. The price was barely more than other places in the area and the service I received was worth twice the cost. They even went above and beyond to get me seen on my schedule. Once we get a new pet we will certainly be using this location for all our needs.
