Called them about a Barn kittnes .Wanted a new patient fee for every kitten..Was not even will to help

At last a real caring vet they care about the animals more than money.

I showed up without an appointment, they still made time for me. Dr. Burgess and his team of awesome women took good care of my baby Scoob who had a flare up in his eyes. They were so kind and made me feel like a regular. Great veterinary services! I give them all the stars for the Rock Stars!

Great service, I manage to setup an appointment a week an advance and had my dog vaccinated. I appreciate the service provided during this pandemic!

Classic case of a older Vet that has become cold n heartless to the animals. I was new to the area, needed an older Labrador to end her life on earth. He refused a shot to my girl to de sensitize the blow of euthanasia. He didn't feel necessary. He fought me on it. He won n I watched him pump the shot of euthanasia into her hard. My girl didn't deserve that. Then when I was still holding her n sobbing, he came back into the room n tagged her. Really? Like she was a piece of meat. I live w that memory everyday since n will for the rest of my life. He is deplorable. I can't imagine him doing anything w an animal. Heartless and cold.

"Dr. Burgess does not service smaller animals." (i.e. rabbits, etc) FYI...do not take any of your smaller animals to Dr. Burgess at the Country Animal Hospital, he will not bother to examine them. 5:42PM on 6/27/2019 I took my gravely ill pet rabbit into the clinic, to be met with the Office Manager and a blonde vet tech assistant, who showed zero concern for my pet's deteriorating condition, when I explained what was wrong. Instead of showing any sort of compassion whatsoever the vet assistant said to me "Dr. Burgess does not service small animals so you'll have to try Hermiston Veterinary." This is a Veterinary clinic and their website does not explicitly state that they do not service the smaller creatures, so I am heartbroken that they turned us away in our time of needing a Veterinarian. Regardless of if they could have helped him or not (he died shortly after we brought him back home) it is the PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER: They did not even try! I will be sharing my story with all the Hermiston area people and I will never recommend the "services" of Dr. Burgess ---or his staff.

We have taken all of our pets there, the Dr. and staff are genuinely caring, very friendly and kind hearted people, we recommend them to everyone we know that has pets...plus they are really reasonably priced...we absolutely adore everyone …

Great prices, genuine care for the animals, and a sense of humor with customers. He really knows his stuff. And will take time to make sure you understand what is happening and what you need to do. It's like if your grandpa was the vet and you brought him your pet.

Took our dog in for treatment. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. James Burgess was great with our girl. I highly recommend Country animal hospital to everyone. They do care and it shows.

Dr. Bruce has been our Vet for the last 4 years and it's been a great experience. He is very compassionate with our Scrapps and very helpful addressing our concerns about his health. No matter the situation they always try to make arrangements to check on our 4 legged baby, even with no notice in advance. The staff is very friendly and kind. I will highly recommend this good Vet doc and his staff.

Doc Burgess and his staff are the best. I travel 1 1/2 hrs. each way and it is so worth it for the best care for our animals. They treat you like family. Have been going to the Doc for a very long time and will continue as long as we have 4 legged kids.

I appreciate what CAH does and have done for all my pets through the years. Staff is always friendly and truly love the pets that come through their door. Dr. Burgess takes his time to discuss with you what treatment options are available for your pet. It is always a good experience, even in sad times.

I've been taking my pets to Country Animal Hospital for over 14 years and have never had a disappointment at any time. They have always been caring and professional. They've given me options every time that fit what I was able to do. My current Cocker Spaniel is the 4th dog I have been taking to them. Have never had an issue with diagnosis or concerns I have had. I will continue to go there even though I can no longer have an account for payment with them. My first Cocker moved with me from TX to NY and then here to Oregon. His care was always exceptional and he lived to just over 14 years of age. My second 2 I rescued from Beaverton Oregon. One was in poor health when I got him and we kept him going for another couple of years. I lost him @ age 10 due to a stroke. The other one lived to a little over age 15 and his care was always exceptional. The one I now have is 8 years old and has been with me for approximately 3 years. She also gets exceptional care. I would refer anyone to this facility good loving care of their pets.

I have always brought my pets to see the good Dr. I have received awesome service and my animals, loving care. They treat my pets as a valued part of my family to which they are. Thank you for 5 start service.
