My dogs have always received excellent care at Purdy Veterinary Hospital from a very professional & caring staff.

They are wonderful people. I have used them for more than 10 years now and am very happy.

This is an amazing veterinarian clinic. I have been going here for years and they have helped me care for all of my animals, 3 dogs and 2 cats. They give you options for care and explain the cost breakdown for each option. I have never felt pressured or judge (sometimes you can't pick the most expensive option), they always work with me. I have since moved and I still use this place it is worth the 1.5 hour drive.

We have used this Vet for over 20 years but I will never take our pets there again. The last few times our babies have been in to see the doctor it is clear they no longer care about our pet. It is all about the money. We took our 8 year old Rottweiler in a few months ago for a hot spot on her hind end and a broken toenail and they insisted on bloodwork. $500.00. Today our 8 month old Rottweiler / Mastiff went in to be neutered, When we made the appointment 4 weeks ago we were quieted $230.00. This morning when we took him in they said it would be $297.00. When I questioned the price I was told. That is the price today! And I quote ' TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT'. Very rude women at the front counter! It's not about the money. We love our pets and cost is never an issue when it comes to there health. I hate the idea that all our pets are to them is money! They are always pushing for bloodwork, an easy $140.00 . Money,money,money. This was our last trip to Purdy vet clinic! On top of all that, we had to have him in at 8 am. Then when they called at 2.33 this afternoon, they said he just got done and we could pick him up at 4.30. 6 hours in the kennel befor surgery? Poor guy had poop all over his butt and tail. You would think they could clean him up. They just don't care about your pets, just there bottom line! $$$$ I gave them 1 star because my Tucker was still alive when we picked him! They really don't deserve that!

I rescued an elderly weimaraner 4 months ago. She has been treated with such gentle care and such professionalism was some of her senior issues I can't say enough about the staff at Purdy veterinarian. Dr. Scott and the vet tech, Tiffany, make us feel as if Ginger is part of their families. Tiffany is friendly, gentle and has been the one who has tended to Ginger the most, and with the best care.

Very nice Vet and tech. My dog scares easily and they took time to reassure her.

If you've tried, vets are MONTHS out for new patient apps. Purdy not only got me in the soonest, it was an excellent overall experience.

I love this ve Vet Clinic. The staff at the front and back of house is very helpful, knowledgeable, a courteous. The only reason I gave 4 stars, is due to their pricing, it's very high but I guess you do mostly get what ya pay for....

Took my mom's dog Shadow to get nails cut. Very nice staff and handled Shadow's nerves pretty good.

After years of being unhappy and changing veterinary clinics we finally found Purdy Veterinary. They have been awesome from the start. We have had no problems getting appointments when we needed them. The staff have been just awesome. My dogs are actually excited when we get there and hurry to get inside. I've never had that experience lol. The service is up in real good communication has been phenomenal. The obvious caring about the animals they treat is amazing. they're also pretty good with humans. I found that their prices are more than fair and unlike other vets they don't seem to stack on a bunch of unnecessary stuff. our last visit we brought Rocco in for the last of his vaccinations in this round and I believe the cost is $37 or something like that. The doctors are carrying the staff is caring just an amazing place I'm so glad we found it.

I have taken my pets to this veterinary clinic for several years and always received passable service. This last time I took my dogs in for their annual shots I was had an unfortunate misunderstanding with the vet that saw them. I was spoken to quite rudely and abruptly. I wanted to talk about what signs to look for when my dog of 14 years is in pain, or no longer living a life that is enjoyable to him. He demonstrates a number of reasons that I might like to talk about this. I was told that "he checks out fine" and that this veterinarian was confused about what I was asking. Approaching the end of my beloved dogs life is not a day to day conversation that I have, it is sensitive and I expected consideration of the emotions of having to watch your dog decline in health. I was simply asked what I wanted to do about it.

Met with Dr Tara Evans on Saturday. We felt very comfortable with her, and felt assured about her being a good doctor. We'll be seeing her as "Margie's doctor" from now on????

Great quality veterinary care from both the vets and vet techs. Office staff are organized and efficient. Our dog is happy too.

Vet was extremely nice and understanding. She didn't fat shame my dogs (explained they were on a diet), she explained and answered my questions, and was thorough. The prices were reasonable and they helped me get my crazy pups in when they realized they were at the vet! ????

Shout out to the wonderful vet techs! Our Bernese Mountain Dog absolutely hates coming here, it’s a struggle to get her inside. Knowing this, the awesome vet tech came out to our car to administer the vaccine instead of making her go inside. It took so much stress off of both me and my dog!
