Excellent place to board your dogs by day or long term. The owner has been doing this for many years. The grounds are well kept by professional landscapers and the kennels are clean and roomy.

Great place to board your dog! I am a protective dog mom of 10 year old English bulldog and I trust this facility with him. We’ve boarded our pup here for long stays and they always take great care of him, and he comes home in an adorable bandana! We have to make our dogs food and refrigerate it, all his food was dropped off at the facility in Tupperware and they gave us the Tupperware back all cleaned. Just great service, they go above an beyond!

I am not sure had to cancel. Communication was not really there. If I ever need to use there services I will give them a try again for sure.

Kim and the staff are so accommodating and would recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals!

We LOVE Gig Harbor Kennel! Total quality and care for our two dogs when we go out of town. We can tell by their service and care that they absolutely love dogs. When we go out of town Gig Harbor Kennel is our very first choice.

We left our 2 boxer babies with them and were very pleased with the service and care received. Easy drop off/pick up, nice grounds, our dogs came back smelling and looking cuter than when we left them. I could tell my dogs were more relaxed at this kennel than others we have used. Highly recommend and appreciate the care! Price is great, too.

My great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepard mix stayed here for a week. The location is easy to find and is beautiful! We had a great experience. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and caring. She was well cared for. She was also clean and smelled great when we picked her up, better than when we left her! I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for all my dog boarding needs!

I didn't see anything that stated that they only take cash or check until I got there. That meant I had to go to the bank while our Greyhound was getting a nail trim. Not happy about that! Also, not the best nail job...not the worst. Probably wouldn't return.

I was bitten on the thigh while waiting to pick up my dog by these giant, aggressive, constantly barking show dogs the owner has in the waiting room and all over the grounds. I did get an apology but no way, never again.

This kennel is the nicest around. The woodsy location is beautiful. The group who works there is always friendly and I feel like they really care about and enjoy our dog. You can tell how much they love animals.

Only place I will board my dogs.

I've finally found a quality hotel for my pups when I leave town for a few days. They come home smelling great with little bows on their collars. It's the small things that sometimes show how much they are cared for.

Starved my dog! we left our Shih Tzu's here for 3 weeks and they both lost a significant amount of weight. One of them lost 25% of his total body weight. when we picked them up and brought them home they appeared starved and were begging for food. they now eat food like it is the last meal they will get. when we looked at the items that were given back to us we discovered that there was a weeks amount a food left over for both dogs and untouched. when I asked the owner about this she was more concerned about not throwing food away and also stated that she would attempt to reuse the breakfast food for dinner food. owner had noticed that my dog was not eating and I got no phone call during the 3 week period. If you love your dogs like your kids then do not bring your dogs here. this place was highly recommended by other businesses and that's why we used them, I will never do so again and recommend that you move on to your next choice.

What a wonderful place for pets! We were referred to GHK in 2011, and have stayed with them ever since. Carol and Kimberly love animals, and it shows when you watch them interact with a pet. We love this kennel, and wouldn't take our dog - who is like our child - to any other place. She is safe and loved, and we can relax when traveling knowing she is in good hands. Thank you GHK!!!

I have used this grooming service many times. the groomers are very kind and accommodating to my little old man. the price is very reasonable and they are really quite fast. I would recommend them to anyone who cares about the quality of care while someone else is taking care of you family pet.
