Abopted a kitty almost 3 months ago from this place, place was clean, employees were very nice. Still waiting on my remebrusment from spraying my girl kitty. Not too happy, adoption money's was suppose to be included the spraying kitty. Its been 3 months. No word on spraying kitty. And still waiting on my remembrance after 3 months. Owner said she is/ was going to rembrusement money from spraying nothing yet, sent owner messages and no response back. Not happy. Update, Finally after almost a month, got back my remembrusment of the $35. Thank you to how ever dropped off money to me. Really appreciate it. Totally understand being busy, but when someone has a business they really should stick to there word and maybe not take so long to get remembrusment back .

I volunteer here every week it's a fantastic place to hang out around a bunch of really cool cats or to adopt one of the kittens taken from kill shelters in California.

I miss coming to Kitty Korner; it was my go-to place for a serious Kitty Fix, in between cats. Please, open Kitty Korner back up. My husband has been awesome to take us there.

I visited Kitty Korner for the 1st time 2/7/20 and decided to adopt a kitten that had a "non-contagious URI", per the owner. Kristina (owner) offered to let me take her home that day or to keep her and finish the antibiotics. I wanted her to be better before I took her home to my other cat. We agreed that I'd pick her up 2/12. Pick-up was messy. I paid the adoption fee w/ Kristina to make pick-up easier. Kristina gave me forms to show the volunteers so they knew it was okay for me to take the kitten but the volunteers had no idea what to do and struggled to get a hold of Kristina. I waited around a half an hour for Kristina to show up because she told the volunteers not to let me take the kitten until she comes in and talks to me. Lo and behold, kitty was still very sick. She told me that if kitten stops eating, to get her into the vet right away, and that she wants me to get her an exam within the next few days. Kristina should have taken kitten to the vet. She requires adopters take cats in for an exam within a week or so. I presume she decided to let me deal with taking kitten in myself to save time/money. Kitty did stop eating. She was sneezing so much, and a lot of the sneezes contained blood. The vet diagnosed her with calicivirus. My other cat caught it and was miserable. The noteworthy symptom is oral ulcers, kitten had an especially bad case per my vet. Kristina defends her choices and won’t take responsibility for her part in this. She sees it as something that was out of her hands, blaming it on the “terrible conditions” that these cats are rescued from. That alone shows how little she knows. This was caught from the shelter. Incubation period alone makes that blatantly obvious. I have no clue why Kristina doesn’t quarantine rescues for a week or two, and further quarantine cats that do get sick. All cats get to mingle throughout the store, share everything, and interact with customers. Kitten did not receive proper care. Before the end of a round of antibiotics, a cat should no longer have the URI. The fact that kitten was still so sick was a red flag that Kristina didn’t take seriously. Kristina diagnoses/treats cats when she doesn't even have basic knowledge. Calicivirus is the second most common viral URI. It's highly contagious. Any of the house cats/cats waiting for adoption could catch it. Any customers that interact with an infected cat could take the virus home with them on their clothes and pass it onto their own cats. Kristina did heed my vet’s warnings about how contagious the virus is and closed the store 2/15 to disinfect. I overheard her on the phone with my vet claim that another sick cat she had couldn’t have calicivirus because she’d been giving him meds and didn’t see any ulcers, despite the fact she was giving meds to my kitten for a week or so and never saw the ulcers she had. Dealing with her has been a nightmare. I felt screwed out of a positive experience because of her negligence. This was preventable. I felt bad asking for a refund because I know running a rescue isn't a profitable profession. She agreed to refund the adoption fee. It took weeks but it happened. Both of my cats had to go in for 2 exams because of how sick they were. Kitten was on 3 different antibiotics before she got better. The exams/meds cost $670. I asked Kristina about some kind of reimbursement for the $670. I was totally willing to work with her because I understand her situation. I would've been happy with small payments, doing it as she can, or I would've settled for a 50% reimbursement. Kristina just made a lot of excuses. She wouldn't commit to anything. She asked for my Paypal info and said she'd transfer what she could. A week went by, nothing. After weeks of getting toyed with, I ran out of patience. I never thought I’d take anyone to court, let alone a nonprofit rescue, but here we are.

If you an animal lover in need of some cat therapy, there is no better place to go than here! The staff are amazing and the kitties are unbelievably friendly. Although the entry is $8.00 after hearing how many cats these wonderful people save I recommend donating as much as your wallet allows! They are also looking for volunteers. Which I cannot wait to free up some time to do myself! Please keep this wonderful place open forever<3

I love this place and their mission, but the entire place reeks of ammonia from the litter boxes. You can tell they arent cleaned regularly or they dont have enough litter for the amount of cats they have. And the place is a bit less clean all in all than I would like for the cats. There was some cat pee on the seat I sat by as well. Please clean for the cats sake and to make the place more comfortable for humans to visit!

Great place to meet and get to know a bunch of friendly and inquisitive cats. They recently moved across the parking lot from their original location, so we're looking forward to seeing what they do with their new space. There's a small entry fee, but it's worth it. The cats always welcome new toys and new friends!

My whole family loves to go and get our dose of cat therapy and spend quality time with all the kitties. We wish we could adopt them all! We love the kitty Korner :)

The entrance fee is $8. Good thing is you don't have to make a reservation, and walk in welcome. The cats were cute ☺️ but don't expect much about food or drinks, just spent time with the cats.

This place seems like a great shelter for cats. If you would like to adopt, this seems like a nice way to visit and meet a cat. However, the reason I gave this 2 stars was because this is not a Cafe, the vibe was really strange, one of the employees just sat in a bench looking at the floor and seemed sad or lost and unhappy. (the other employee there seemed upbeat and very nice tho!) The place has a strong oder. While I completely understand it houses cats, if you are going to have guests that come in and pay ($8 per person) to be there, maybe have a different set up for the litter boxes. Keep the place cleaner. Decorate and keep the place a little cleaner. The room has lots of friendly cats and werw nice to pet. But that's literally it. I felt pretty awkward there. If you're looking to adopt, come here. If you're looking for a cat Cafe, do not come here.

This was a great outing for me an my kids, as we are cat people who happen to lack cats due to my SO having some severe allergies. It was a wonderful relaxing place to go pet some cats and kittens, have them sit on you and purr, it was just what our kitty-loving hearts needed. We were also able to see a couple of the sweet kittens get adopted while we were there. These volunteers are doing great work. Also, my kids and I need to go back.

I will come here again. What this place doesn't offer in 'cafe', it makes up for in cats. These cats are super friendly. The admission is more affordable than others. The cats that were there were healthy and well cared for. The volunteers were helpful without being hover-y. It does stink a little, which was off-putting. The kids didn't notice and we eventually didn't notice as much. The cats are lovely and lively. Like I said, we'll come back.

This is one of my favorite places to go. I would highly recommend this lounge to someone looking to adopt a cat or someone just looking to hang out with some cats who LOVE the attention and human interaction!

Lovely cats, not much on the drink side of the cafe deal. Smells like cats, but not the urine type of smell that can be associated with cats.
