Everyone I talked to at BARCS were very friendly and professional. It's obvious they care a lot about the pets they help.

While they may provide quality services, they do not provide quality care. I found their general attitude to be "give us our money, and go away and don't ask questions". I found it nearly impossible to get any details or information about my pet's scan from them. I had to talk to my regular vet to get any basic information. I also didn't appreciate, after the scan was complete, being told that my pet would be brought out "in a few minutes" and then waiting 50 minutes for him to be brought out, while I watched a group of employees get a training on how their sample drop works.

If you're looking at this review, you're probably in a tough spot. My tough spot started on Tuesday. We were referred and scheduled an appointment for the first time available, 2 weeks out. They were able to get us into a canceled slot today, Friday. The oncologist we met with was friendly, empathetic, and one of the best public instructors I've met (shout out to Dr. Van Hesteren) in the 15 years I've worked in education. It's Covid times, so curbside is the deal. We met over an iPad. Teaching online is not easy at all, but Dr. Van used a whiteboard behind him to walk us through the process. The staff that spoke with us were funny, personable, and demonstrated an ethic of care (happy vet tech week again, Annette!). We're still in a tough spot with a long road ahead of us. But today I have hope, and I haven't had hope since Tuesday. Whatever happens, I'm glad we came here.

Fantastic, wonderful, amazing! There aren't enough words to describe our gratitude to BARC! At our first oncology appointment we were given a very kind and thorough explanation of our dog's condition as well as a comprehensive treatment plan for managing his health and symptoms. We felt like our questions and concerns were heard and accepted by the staff, and we left the appointment feeling much more confident in our next steps. The front staff who handled our calls, scheduling, and prescriptions were also very kind and helpful, and one staff member was kind enough to come out and help us jump our car that had died in the lot! All around a refreshing and wholesome experience in a difficult time, and I'd absolutely recommend their services to anyone on the fence!

First visit for my furbaby, Chanel. Dr. Tripp is so thorough and caring. It's overwhelming when your furbaby has cancer and cannot speak. I recommend BARC to anyone who has a pet that needs oncology treatment.

We have two cats going to BARC. Dr Tripp is amazing and everyone is so nice. Our cats, oddly enough, love going there! Cancer is scary but Dr Tripp knows so many options, it's more affordable than you'd think, and I am grateful our vet referred us to BARC. Here's our 16 year old cat who, thanks to BARC, is still with us.

We had to put our dog down and they made this the best experience even though it was the hardest thing to do. The Dr. Was so kind and sympathetic. I would definitely recommend

There are no words for the level of care this place provides during the toughest times in a pet owner's life. They are knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and wonderful. They have the all of the newest and most advanced treatments, they walk you through every part of the process, they explain costs and options. Absolutely wonderful experience from every single person who works here. They gave me precious more time with my boy, and I will never forget what they did for us.

The doctors and majority of the staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and caring, which is why we drive for an hour, sometimes weekly, to have our dog seen here for oncology services.

The doctor took so much time explaining everything to us during the visit and used a white board to write down all the information we discussed. Afterwards, she took photos and emailed them with really thorough discharge paperwork. I highly recommend them and their oncology department, they helped me understand what was happening and what my options are.

Amazing and caring practice. Especially at a difficult time. Would recommend to anyone needing specialized care for their fur baby.

They took amazing care of our chocolate lab who was battling osteosarcoma. He loved going to his visits and if we ever have a dog who needs that advanced medical help again, I'll go to BARC.
