Reasonabl pricing, very nice staff and vets. They keep the best of the pets and the owners in mind and have the best suggestions on everything we asked for. Very patient and thorough in their examination and patiently listen to everything you have to say. We took our dog to be neutered and they called us in the middle of the operation to tell us our dog has a couple of puppy teeth and they can extract them while he's under anesthesia. Saved us another trip there and lots of expenses plus we didn't have to put him under one more time for that.

It's a great place for your cat, dog, rabbit, and bird. I drive 45 minutes to bring my pets here and have done so for 10 years plus.

They take exotic pets, so its really nice being able to take my ferrets and my dogs to the same doctor. Super affordable ( especially for and exotic pet hospital) they always keep you informed and are super friendly.

They haven't been open for face to face appointments. I got there, called, then saw a woman going in. They open again!! Dr. Onarati is the best.

My review is based on my one year experience with them. I used to bring my birds here. Talented doctor but this is not a well managed place. Just like any other Seattle area businesses, this is another overcrowded place. They get to make plenty of money without rendering the best service. They do not care if your pet is dying, if you are not their existing customer they won't see your pet. That is fine but they could refer you to the facilities that do see new patients. That could be very helpful for new pet owners. One of my perfectly fine bird passed away few hours after a routine blood work apparently because it was done by a rather inexperienced technician in a hurry. I hope mine is an isolated case. However, after moving out of the state and seeing how a good quality pet hospital actually looks like, I can say with certainty this place could use some improvement.

In 2020 our normal veterinarian retired. He recommended, Des Moines Veterinary Hospital as a replacement office. I, as a dog mom, was apprehensive about finding a new veterinarian because my family had built such a great relationship with our previous vet. Dr. Conger and the staff a Des Moines Veterinary Hospital are amazing and attentive to the concerns of my two fur babies. Dr. Conger takes the time to explain her findings and results of each visit and always provides multiple options and the pros and cons of all options of surgical necessity. I am thankful for the staff and veterinarians here, because they have helped and reassured me every time I have had to take my babies for a visit. Best place to board our cat.

They take the time to get at the root of the issue. We had an adopted dog that saw two other vets who tried to help. It wasn't until we saw doctor Conger that it was resolved immediately. They are knowledgeable, caring, and the only vets we see since they do what is needed to provide the best care possible.

Des Moines Veterinary Hospital has been amazing. They have been great with my guinea pigs and our dog as well. They are there to help and butt trying to to you off like my previous Vet in Renton. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr Onorati is THE REGIONAL EXPERT with treating heartworm. Their prices were more than fair. I absolutely loved their staff. Everyone was so kind and compassionate during a time I was deeply worried about by pooch. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job with spaying my fog Ellie! And at an economical price of less than half what I was quoted by other vets. Plus they set appt quickly.

I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am to this place. We were coming from an emergency vet that was trying to charge us $2,000 to tell us that our Ferret was going to die. Instead we called DMVH and because we had been there before they saw on the same day. It was an incredibly heart-wrenching experience but every step of the way they provided updates, And went above and beyond the Call of Dut. The Doctor even took our little guy home with him and effort to get him to eat food. My only minor gripe is that they need to get a new phone system to handle more call volume. That busy tone is burnt in my memory.

These people are so great. They are really nice and help you as much as they can and they are not super expensive. You can tell the people who work there are actually animal lovers.
