It is more expensive than q regular vet, But, in an emergency if you need a vet in an emergency, this is is the place to go. My dog was having seizures and is a senior dog. The vet was explaining everything and all the possible outcomes. Overall I left happy and know my next course of action.

In town for the holidays, had to take my dog into the emergency vet day after Christmas and what a great surprise this vet was amazing! Great service, decent prices and no wait. Staff and vet were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

The staff was very caring, friendly, and professional. Dr Gage was amazing with our Bella. She explain everything to us in layman terms and answered all of our questions. She gave Bella pain meds and explain to us what was going on. It was very refreshing to be at a clinic where I felt that they truly cared about my fur baby. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Brought our dog here and was met by a great lady at the desk. The technician Jenny was so amazing and friendly. The vet was awesome. 10 STARS!!!!

Simply the best doctors when you have a true emergency situation or have to make that tough, final decision. My dog spent two evenings there trying to address seizures and all three vets were compassionate, caring and took the time to answer my litany of questions when we were considering options. On other occasions they worked to make sure that our regular vet had all the records for follow up. I highly recommend EVH.

Wish i could give 5 stars i cant...They didn't handle the situation right in my opinion..Check around first if possible..its never going to be a pleasant situation when in need of an emergency visit i get that but in my heart of hearts this was handled wrong and i can not forget that...!!!

Hands down best place I've taken my pup. I wish I could have them as my regular vet! Really friendly! The lady at the front desk was super helpful. She went out of her way to get a blanket for Sadie to lay on because she's afraid of the floors❤ Thank you for being so caring with my Sadie pup. Strongly recommend this place!

My boxers got into a bottle of Vitamin D which is fatal to dogs. Thank you so much to Dr DeMarco and Dr Choker for acting so quickly to save my loves. I don’t know what I would have done if not for their quick advice to get the dogs in there and starting treatment so fast! I am eternally grateful! And a very special thank you to Diane for her support, compassion, and a sense of humor like mine to get me through the long weekend! Everyone was so great! I can’t thank you enough!

While it’s never under good circumstances that you need an emergency vet, this office is hands down FANTASTIC! I’ve had two experiences with them for two different dogs in the last six months. The first, sadly, was to put down our beloved dog. The staff was so gentle and patient and allowed us all the time we needed. The staff was sad right along with us. The second was for an injury. The treatment was just as gentle and staff just as caring.

Our adult male cat Felix began showing signs of difficulty urinating on a recent Sunday morning. I called the Emergency Vet Hospital and after checking him free of charge, they told me to keep an eye on him and bring him back in the afternoon if he was still having trouble, which I did. Everyone at this facility was kind, compassionate, efficient and knowledgeable. The clinic itself is clean and welcoming. Felix had a blockage and had to have a catheter inserted and stay overnight. I received a call at about 8:00 p.m. from the doctor with a status report, and I received a call the following afternoon from a technician to check on Felix. I have great confidence in this clinic (and I have had some bad experiences in the past). I highly recommend this facility and wouldn't hesitate to go there again should the need arise.

Our dog needed her stomach pumped after swallowing a chicken leg whole. The staff and vet here had us in immediately and out within 30 minutes for way less than I had imagined it would cost. If you have an emergency with you pet I would not bring them anywhere else but here!

Waited for over 3 hours. Never did get to see a Dr. I get it. They were really busy. But at least have the decency to ask us to come back later or go somewhere else. The staff didn’t communicate with us and the person at the front desk was snippy. Probably not the best person for that position. Overall Worst Vet Experience I’ve Ever Had. I’ll take my business to Post Falls going forward.

My dog who was being treated by our local small vet for a week was sent home with me w/o a solution, a 2k bill, pamphlets for em. care and in need of an ultrasound. When I called this clinic on a Fri night to look for help I was met w short answers and rudeness then promptly put on hold. After talking to the Pet Emergency of Spokane where I was met with warmth and kind ness...I called them back to share how poor they treated me and was again met with the same. Don't go here- if they can't be kind to a crying human how do you think your animal will fare

Our GSP ate something he shouldn't have and these guys got him in right away while being courteous, communicating with us and tending to our boy. We haven't had the best of luck with vets in CDA or Post Falls the past few years so this place was definately a breath of fresh air. We really wish they could be our primary but are thankful they're here for any emergencies.

The folks here honestly care about your pet. They know that they're part of your family. We had to get our dog euthanized today and every single one of the staff members were very courteous and sympathetic. They work at your pace and they're very gentle. They allow you to be with your pet the entire time as well, which can't be said for all places. Truly good people.

The staff at Emergency Vet Hospital were very caring from the moment I walked thru the front door with Hazel. Even though I walked out the door without her, I feel that they gave her and me the best possible care. To have them send me a card signed by all the staff with a photo of her means so much to me.

The doc knew immediately what was wrong with our needy boy and got right to it as far as helping him!!!

Highly recommend Dr. Choker and her technicians! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the wait time was insane. We were there for almost 6 hours. However, the wait time was beyond their control and they did their best. Our normally cranky and aggressive chihuahua, Copenhagen, was calm and content with the techs and the doctor and didn’t need to be muzzled like he usually does. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and Dr. Choker was very thorough and kind. I wished she would have spoken more in layman terms, but she was happy and willing to answer our questions and explain things further. Aside from the wait that was out of their control, we had a great experience and will definitely return and wait again if we ever need an emergency vet again.

We are on a cross country road trip and our mini dachshund Maggie wasn’t feeling well. Emergency Vet Hospital of Coeur d’Alene took great care of her. A terrific group of professionals from receptionist to tech to veterinarian. We can not thank them enough!! They even called the next day to check up on her:) Pets of the surrounding area you are very lucky to have such an exceptional place to go in an emergency!

Greatly appreciated the genuine care and concern of the entire staff when bringing our 11 year old lab in on an emergency visit. Dr. DeMarco was very knowledgeable, kind, clear with his diagnosis and did not over-treat. Highly recommend!

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing everyone that works there is. We had to wait a while which I expected. It’s a walk in clinic after all. As soon as they brought our dog back they were on top of everything and saw us in a timely manner. Without having this place available we might have lost our doggo. I’m so thankful for everyone there and would recommend them to anyone! Dr. Gable took her time explaining everything to us and answering all of our questions. We weren’t treated like a number here. They actually care. I wish I could bring my dog to them on a regular basis because they’re so amazing. The facility is very clean as well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you!

The vet we dealt with was one of the most amazing and honest vets. I have seen specialists, Several primary vets and three different emergency vets for my dogs and NONE of them helped me like they did at this facility. They do not do anything that isn’t necessary and are very upfront about treatment and costs. Their pricing was actually better than my primary vet! They have good parking and a clean facility and waiting room as well. My Great Dane was very scared but the vet and vet tech were so kind and made him feel safe. Plus, they gave detailed print out instructions for care at home to take with us and called the next morning to follow up on how he was feeling. I love these people. If you are having an emergency or just need to get to a vet ASAP. I would take your fur friend here.

Had a bizarre dog injury from our two dogs playing too rough. Dr DeMarco and the entire staff were awesome. Super friendly and courteous and very clear and straightforward with each step. Will definitely come again if needed in the future.

We took our mama dog in who had stalled out during labor. Dr. DeMarco and the rest of the staff took great care of her and the pups! It was a successful night and we appreciate knowing we have a great emergency clinic to use. Thank you!

My lab had to have his stomach pumped because over ate and we were taken right in and taken care of. The explanation was awesome and very thorough! Clean facility, very nice staff and I didn’t feel at anytime they were trying to make money and do things unnecessarily. My dog is all better and they also followed up with me to check on him. They did not overcharge either. Thanks ladies so much!

We had an emergency happen with our elderly dog Jasper and took him here, we ultimately had to put him down which was very hard for us but the staff was so professional and kind. They made the process a lot easier. I would recommend going here 100 times over! The staff is incredible.

They went above and beyond! ????They made use feel comfortable with being able to see him at the facility and call at any time to see how he was doing.They even called to check up on him to see how he is doing! Dr. Choker and her team can literally not ever get a high enough rating. I am absolutely BLOWN away at their skill and knowledge. We came in with worry of our 6lb little baby. They hurriedly got us in and taken care of- we had to do X-rays and they were incredibly well priced. Not only did Dr. Choker help us with the situation she informed my husband and I of so many other things to look out for, to acknowledge, and just gave us so much information about the health of puppies! She helped us understand how things worked and while she went incredibly in depth just about every ounce of information you can get on an X-ray- I PASSED OUT. Like hit the floor unconscious passed out. Haha! She and her team helped me get back up and gave me water and snacks and I couldnt have been in a better audience to have an unfortunate occurrence. So thankful for all this team does and will continue to come here so long as I live in this state! I HIGHLY reccomend them.
