Jackson Hwy Veterinary Clinic Chehalis, Washington

Had to use their services for cremation of my 18 year old beagle. Absolutely a heart retching day but the people at Jackson Hwy Veterinary Clinic were AWESOME! Top notch attention to every detail and were empathetic for my pet and I. Prices were lower then expected and well beyond other vets all the way to Seattle. Thank you again for making a very hard day a little brighter. ????????????

Just returned home from JHVC. We took our 10 wk old Boxer in for his initial well puppy exam. The staff was so caring and engaging. “LJ” loved all the attention of course. Dr. Amanda and Asst Maryssa were very helpful and caring. “LJ” had fleas and they recommended I bathe him with a small amount of Dawn Soap and they gave him a chewable flea control called Bravecto. Well after his bath, and within 4 hrs those fleas were GONE. He is going back in 3 weeks for another “shot”. We have found a forever Vet in JHVC.

Wonderful, caring and personal service! Dr's. techs and assistants are all about care and kindness. Love how they answer all your questions and go into as much detail as you ask for. Super important that they openly discuss costs for everything they do, before they do it, no surprises. Love them, they even call to follow-up on how our pet is doing! Thank you all so very much! ???? :)

Great place for your pets health

I have contacted them twice about my dog and they can never squeeze her in when she’s sick. They suggest the emergency clinic and all they want to do is put her to sleep. No dedication to my pet.

After a long wait, since veterinarians seem inundated with patients these days, I brought our two feral-born torties in for exams and shots. The the staff and doc were helpful, invested, informed and informative. Loved the experience! Such a relief to have found a family vet nearby. Now all our cats are booked for care there.

This vet clinic is absolutely one of the best ever. I've been going to Dr. Dale Marker for 15 years. I have cats and chow chows. Hes treated chronic conditions in my pets that have granted them years of life they might not have had otherwise. Hes done spays on big female dogs with tiny little incisions. I had a stray with a pyo that he took into surgery immediately saving her life as it burst on extraction. The wealth of knowledge this vet has is so refreshing. He also seems very current on studies and new treatments. Dr. Dale also doesn't hesitate to use herbal supplements if they will support as well or better than meds. Donna Marker is a warm compassionate caring woman who has added artistic touches all over the office making it incredibly welcoming. I love seeing her at the clinic because she always is friendly to everyone. Debbie and the office ladies and vet techs feel like family. They always greet us by name. They are incredibly helpful. Dr. Amanda is amazing with scared cats and dogs and has a way with animals that even our standoffish chow chows let her take a look or give shots. I love her explanations of medical situations. Dr. Renee is a cat lovers dream. She loves them. They love her. Is she part cat? I wonder.... because shes just amazing. And shes honestly the type you want the facts from. She tells it like it is. I'm really on board with her personality. And my cats get great care. And though always heartbreaking, the end of life care here is exceptional. I cant say enough good about this clinic. They are a big part of our animals lives.

I've been going to Jackson Hwy Vet Clinic for many years and Dr Marker is top notch. I've also really appreciated being able to work with Dr Ford. Good clinic to go to. ~Cynthia

I have no complaints about Dr. Amanda, or the staff. They have always been prompt, friendly, and professional with me - and my nervous little pup seems to like them as well. (My cat? Not so much, she might still be miffed about those vaccinations...) If I call with urgent concerns, I've always gotten prompt responses, and they get me in asap to get my pets checked out, which helps give peace of mind.

When u can get in they are good

They go out of their way to care for their patients. My cat, Luna, had to go back four times for her fixing because the first three times we discovered that something that stopped the surgery. They did not hesitate to do more testing on her, free of charge, and also reschedule each time. They didn't just go on with the surgery, just to get it over with. They took care of the problem and was very attuned to her and her care. They are the best priced around and the care your receive is unlike any other vet I have gone to. They are the only Vet we go to for our cats and dogs! If I could give them higher than a 5 I would!

We had an appointment to get our dogs 2nd round of vaccines done. We brought her in and she was in there for 45 minutes somehow the total came to 200$ so I called to see what was going on (my fiancé had taken her I was at work) turns out she didn’t end up getting her vaccines at all and we payed 200+$ for an exam and a flea treatment ???? so since this is the only vet around accepting new animals due to covid I rescheduled the appointment to get her shots done. I have now been sitting in the parking lot for 25 minutes and nobody that has came out has even acknowledged that we’re here. And I called on the phone and clearly stated my name, they repeated it back to me and then less than a minute later was asking me if I was someone else. This place is unorganized, unreliable & very VERY awful at communication.

Everyone is professional. After hearing about my moms 2 ER visits at another vet and she didn’t even get to talk to a vet (& her pup is VERY ill) I am grateful for the time JHVC takes to make sure I understood everything. Takes a while to pay and get out but even at that, the prices are more than fair.

I have been taking my many dogs to see Dr. Dale Marker for years (2004) and I have had zero complaints about anyone in his office. Always lovely people and prompt service. Dr. Dale is just the best. Unfortunately, he needs more Vets to help him out and sadly, we will no longer be taking our animals to this Clinic. Dr. Amanda is wonderful with our dogs but has never recommended we have dental service for either (one is 10 and the other is 12) We just had a yearly checkup with the oldest and my husband complained about the dog’s breath smelling foul. Dr. Amanda said everything looks good(never recommended a dental check) but just two days ago I found a cavity. We are out of State at this point and I called every Vet in Montana to try to get seen, as well as Jackson Hwy and no one could see us until July! Finally, an Oral Surgeon/Animal Dentist in Bozeman, MT got us in today. 16 teeth removed and some were infected. We trusted our Vet to help us and $3000 later…now we can’t trust her ever again. Very sad situation.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. I didn't dislike my old vet, but my gf used them when she had her pets so I gave it a try and have been taking my dog here ever since. It's 3x as far as my other vet, but Philo seems to like them more so it's worth it. They've always been easy to work with and are very organized.

Great experience. Prices are reasonable too. Been going to JHVC since before the new building.

They never called me back

Sent many emails to them to fix the situation and all I get in return is your email has been sent to the appropriate person. It’s been three weeks with no phone call or email. Just a bunch of lip service to make themselves look good. Pretty bad they can’t face what they did. What a joke.

Every one there is fantastic. They really care about your pet and take the time to listen to your concerns and answer questions,no matter how trivial and don't make you feel foolish for asking.
