We have heard what sounds like dog fights and these dogs will not shut up. They bark continuously day and night. We have tried to reach out to the owner and still nothing has happened. Would not give any stars if I had that option.

We have been taking our dogs to Coal Creek for several years and they always come home happy and tired. Kira is hands on with the dogs all the time making sure they're happy and get along. She adjusts play groups if a couple dogs aren't getting along to ensure all dogs get to play safely and happily. Her neighbors seem to have unrealistic expectations on living near a dog boarding house. The dogs bark during playtime and the day but not all night when they're kenneled and sleeping. She's taken great strides to try to keep things quiet but dogs bark sometimes. She is fabulous with our animals. They love her.

Charlie loves this Lodge. He spent a week there been spoiled and pampered. Kira is super great person and will treat your pet as you would.

Kyra is fantastic with my dog. I’ve tried out a few other dog boarding places in the area. None of them compare to the quality of treatment my dog receives at Coal Creek. She gives the individual attention my dog needs and carefully pairs dogs for play time. I would highly recommend Coal Creek to everyone.

Nice set up. Owner is very nice and takes great care with the pets. My cat (who had a bad experience at another boarding place) does fabulous at Coal Creek. She is relaxed and comfortable while there. I definitely recommend Coal Creek Lodge!

What a great facility with enough room and safe spaces for animals to receive the care and attention they need. Kira is a dedicated caregiver who obviously places great attention and detail in caring for the animals in her charge. Thank you Kira for taking such excellent care of our dogs! This place was great as the Boarding House and it’s just as great as the Pet Lodge. My dog went there one time 5 years ago and when I dropped him off for his second ever visit last week he got SO excited when we pulled in. He was so happy to be there he didn’t even look back when I left—he was heading for the back door where he knew the play yard was. Other kennels he get stressed and anxious barks but not here. I hesitate to recommend them because it makes them more likely to to be full (selfish reason), but this is as good as it gets for pet boarding.

My XL hairy beasts stayed here for about a month. The owner was so kind and always willing to talk about my pups when I checked in. I felt she really cared. She even combed out my Newfie, which is no small task.

Very pet friendly place

Such a wonderful place for dogs! Kira walked us around the property so we felt comfortable leaving our puppy for the night. She took care in introducing Diego to dogs with complimenting personalities, making sure he was comfortable (it was his first time being boarded since we adopted him). Upon returning, she gave us an update on how he did for the night. We like that she limits the number of dogs so that she can spend time with each of them. Her prices are extremely reasonable and I look forward to using her services in the future.

I love Coal Creek Lodge. Kira is a wonderful caregiver. All the dogs and cats are well taken care of and loved on by her. The facilities are clean and we'll maintained. In addition to roomy individual kennel pens, there is a huge exercise pen where she lets animals play together under her supervision. Kira helped me socialize my dog Belle. I am very thankful to her.

We saw this place driving back and forth to town. We are new to the area so we decided to call her for her services. We went in and introduced her to the dogs and got all the information needed. A week or 2 later we started taking the dogs there and been using her ever since. I think about a month almost 2 now. The dogs love it. We love the ease of drop off and pick up times when needed. Shes been a lifesaver for us. She runs a very clean facility. Great prices also. We are so grateful for her. BTW if you start using her for your dog or cat and want to get her a nice gift she loves Starbucks and coffee ????

For many, dogs and cats are not animals, they are family members. Such is the case for our "family member," Brody. Brody spent spring break in Kyra`s care at Coal Creek and my husband and I could not be more impressed. Kyra is excellent with animals and has a first rate set up for animal care. My husband Jamie and I highly recommend this boarding facility.

My 2 dogs Marley & Carly have gone there a couple of times & I have been very pleased with the care & love my dogs get. I was even sent pictures on my phone so I could see how well they were fitting in with the other dogs. You can call or text anytime to ask about your oet(s). I would highly recommend this place.

This place is the best kennel that I have ever found. They treat my dog like family. They will send you pictures of your pet if asked so that you can know your dog or cat is being well taken care of and is happy. The price can't be beat either for the service you get, $25 per night for dogs and $15 a night for cats. The lady that runs this place obviously loves the animals she takes care of. She will give any medication your dog or cat needs (as long as you give it to her with instructions) and she has even offered to give my dog a bath when I was on vacation. She takes all sizes of dogs as well with no increase for bigger breeds. If I can help it, I will not take my dog to any other place.

Friendly, very clean, well organized! She even sent us photos of our little dog, Mickey when we were on vacation. The big dogs have their own kennels away from the small ones. Then she has separate areas for the small dogs as well as for cats. The kennels are heated and inside!

This is coal creek lodge now. The woman that runs the place is very good with dogs and cats. Clean and spacious surroundings

Really wonderful! I couldn't be more impressed. You can tell a lot of care has been put into making sure the animals will be comfortable and happy! It's very clean, airy, and bright inside. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs to board a pet
