Don’t bring your babies here. The doctor dosent care, he is very rude, anything you say to him he brushes off like you don’t know what you’re talking about. My kitten has an eye infection which she needed antibiotics for but it’s swollen shut so you have to wipe it with a cloth and he was hitting her eye with the cloth and she was squirming and crying in pain. He’s very rough.

An embarrassing excuse for a veterinary clinic. Disrespectful front desk workers and doctors. My wife went in with our puppy for her first visit to get the shots we can’t administer ourselves. Front desk worker seemed uninterested in helping at all from the initial greeting to the end of the appointment when my wife was aggressively told she “should call soon because we are very busy”. While I’m sure they are busy, this isn’t an excuse to treat your local clientele like garbage. The doctor made no effort to comfort our pup at all before, during or after his terrible “exam” and the shots and gave very quick sarcastic answers to my wife when she asked about diet and ear cleanliness.

I must have called over 100 vets between Portland and Tacoma looking for an emergency vet to look at my dog Freya, she was very sick and wouldn’t eat, had diarrhea and wouldn’t drink water and extremely lethargic. Not a single vet even seemed to care. I called ford’s prairie expecting more of the same but instead i spoke with a young lady there who pulled some stings and got me in same day. I know they were busy and behind like everyone else. They did some tests and found my pup to have parvo, they prescribed medicine and Freya is alive today because of them. This team is amazing, kind and genuinely loves animals and the community they are in. Don’t hesitate, call and make the appointment for your animals health check ups.

I have never been turned away with any animal, no matter how big (Alpaca and sheep) or small (kittens). Very happy with the care my furry babies have received and continue to receive here.

Amazing people. Doctor was gracious enough to give us help on Saturday with advice to keep our dog comfortable (they were not our vet on record for our animals) when every other emergency hospital from Vancouver to Seattle were at capacity and could not see us and did not have anyone we could talk to. Then he offered to see our dog first thing Monday and was respectful in giving us the choices about our dogs care needs. The entire staff was friendly, professional and caring about our feelings and the situation we had before us. They all went above and beyond without even knowing us! Anyone lucky enough to get into this office will be taken care of with all their needs, I am grateful we found them.

First I want to say thank you to Dr. Raymond for the alsome job that he done on my dog spading. But I have to change my rating cause of a unauthorized refund the secutiry done. She refunded a some of $253.04 to my account that has never showed up before I paid my bill. Less then 5 mins later I paid the bill of $253.04 by debt. Now I am getting bills in the mail thats says its not paid. So a $253.04 bill that is paid is going to cost me $506.08 I guarantee you that Dr. Raymond does not know what happened. I hope they like payments cause it will be $20 a month tell its paid. I am sorry Dr. Raymond that you have lost me as a customer because of your employee. Now you got to wounder how many times this happens.

After a year of taking my small dog in every month to the vet in Tumwater, for extreme skin and eye infections I decided to take him to this vet. The doctor knew exactly what he needed and treated him for staff infection. My old dog is like a puppy now recovering very well. For the first time since I adopted him he has clear eyes. Very pleased with this clinic and would highly recommend the vet.

I have nothing but praise for Dr Remund and the staff at Ford's Prairie Animal Clinic. My husband and I moved here about a month ago and we have a senior dog with multiple health issues. We needed him to be seen urgently and called numerous vet clinics and had no luck. This office was the only clinic who listened to my dogs case and who was able to get him in the next day. The front desk staff were accommodating, the doctor was gentle and kind with my little guy, and I felt confident in his diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Remund and staff❤️

This is most definitely not a veterans organization as Google is trying to say it is. It is a very good veterinary clinic. The doctor can be gruff at times and is very straightforward, but he is also very good at what he does and will try to stay within your budget. I have taken my pets to him for years and will continue to do so. The other staff in the office and in the back are both friendly and professional. They will try to get you in as soon as possible if your pet is having immediate problems which, in the past, I have needed. I've never had a bad experience here with my pets or the staff and I would highly recommend this vet for your pet's needs.

I took my 17-year-old cat there because he had been losing weight. The vet treated him roughly and brusquely, almost brutally. He managed to make my sweet lovable old kitty cat growl and snarl, and get really upset. He took him to draw blood and came back and said my frail old 11-pound geriatric cat had gotten the better of him and he couldn't draw blood. He offered to put my good old buddy to "sleep" for no particular reason. The needed blood test didn't happen, but they charged me anyway, without doing anything to help. Now I'm without $150, and I still need to find a vet for my cat. If you love your pets, keep them away from these crazy people!

Today I came home to my male cat having urinated all over himself, and the urine was almost totally blood. I called my regular vet, and the original vet that my cat saw when he was a kitten, both refused to see my poor kitty boy due to being booked solid. Which I understand, but this was an EMERGENCY! I called Fords Prairie Animal clinic, and explained the situation, thank GOODNESS they felt the same way as I did about this being serious and him needing to be seen right away, I had an appointment set for just about an hour after I called. This was a serious emergency and Fords Prairie Animal Clinic really stepped up and saved the day. Those other vets could have taken the few minutes to exam my cat, see him pee blood on the table in front of them, and treat him. This will be our regular vet from on! Thank you to Fords Prairie Animal clinic!

Dr Remund and his staff were AWESOME! We are traveling thru visiting family, our dog Zoey picked up a foxtail burr in Utah.... it kept getting worse. They took care of her quickly with minor surgery that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We couldn't be happier with the care she got! THANK YOU!!
