My standard poodle loves everybody, but not these people. Went in there happily, but came out shaking. Panicked when we tried to take him back months later!

We’ve been taking our elderly dog to Burlington Dog Works for years. Liza is always so kind to both us and our dog Windsor. Quarantine has made us realize how much work it is to groom our dog and we appreciate how beautiful Windsor looks after Liza’s done with her!

The older lady that runs this place seems friendly enough. The place is clean their equipment is nice however a few major problems I have is the younger girl is rude and the older one offers horrible advice. We brought one of dogs here because she was extremely muddy and she was also hurt so before going to the vet we decided to stop here and wash her up first. The younger girl instead of using her head and figuring we were there because the dog was dirty decided to lecture us on how we need to wash our dog. The older lady kept trying to talk us out of taking the dog to the vet. Telling us that "the vet will just charge an arm and a leg and won't do anything for a puncture wound". Then kept telling us to just use some tea tree oil on the wounds. I'm so glad I didn't listen to her. My dog had been attacked by another dog and had OVER 20 bite wounds some of which needed drain tubes put in. Sorry but a bath and tea tree oil won't fix that. I definitely will NOT be coming back here.

Extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful. Actually listened to what I wanted for my dog, and remembered him the next time we went back.

*** Do NOT bring your dog here*** We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new groomer for our dog. Although the rating was not the best for Burlington dog works I decided to give it a try (as most 1 Star reviews were due to price). After receiving a call he was ready (with no other mention of anything else that happened) I went to pick him up. Upon checking out I was confronted and asked if I knew that my dog bit and if he had ever been groomed. We have been getting our dog groomed once a month for over a year and had NEVER heard this. When I told the staff he was regularly groomed I felt attacked after they asked why I wouldn't just take him to his other groomer. The groomer told me that my dog went crazy with being dried and began to snarl, bite and "barrel roll" all over the place to which the other groomer then said "oh and he had an epileptic seizure." This was the most upsetting for me. My dog does not have a history of seizures and this remark visibly upset me to which the groomer stated "well it's not our fault it's his." Correct me if I'm wrong, but if an animal has a seizure while in your care why was the owner not notified ASAP. If my dog was so uncontrollable why continue to try and dry him? This is unsafe, inappropriate and unprofessional. I got my dog out of there ASAP and called our old groomer who stated that on our dogs file all that was noted is he can get mouthy with being dried but nothing out of the ordinary in her experience and he never required a muzzle (which they used at Burlington dog works). I will NEVER take my dog back to this groomer or recommend them to anyone I know.

I have 3 (SHITZU) and have been paying $160 for all 3 for about 2 years now, very pricey, was late in picking them up once and got charged $180 without a warning, owner is really unprofessional needs more training in how to treat customers ,never going there again...also did a horrible job on all my 3 dogs....

Maggie and Liza have groomed my Afghan Hound for many years. They always do a beautiful job, are very accommodating to my scheduling problems, treat my dog with care and professionalism...I wouldn't consider going elsewhere.

We have had our Great Pyrenees groomed here for more than 5 years and love the care they take with grooming our dogs. Absolutely the best!

Great customer service, always flexible with scheduling. My dog hated Petco, I had to start literally dragging her in. Switched to Burlington Dog Works and she does fine! She willing walks in, says hi to everyone and is ready to go. She feels the doggie love! Reasonable pricing for the loving grooming each pet receives. Cons? She doesn't like their doggie biscuits. If you're running even a little late you will have to reschedule, which seems fair enough.

I haven’t taken my dog here, but I work next door and I will never take my dog there. I hear constantly yelping and dogs screaming and people laughing through the walls.

Was not open despite hours listed everywhere, including their door.

Was WAY to expensive!!!!! I Pay no more that $40 to get my dog (Shih Tzu) groomed at other groomers, which includes bath, clipping of her body/short on feet and privates, trimming of her nails, ears and glands cleaned. I took her in to Burlington Dog Works just for a bath and brushing, and had to pay $60. On a good note the owner was friendly, but when I spoke my concern to the other employee, she just gave me a rude look. I will not be going back there
