We recently moved to the Burien area from Lynnwood. Our dog had her first series of injections and she needed her second series. I called the Burien Veterinary Hospital a few weeks in advance to set up an appointment. During that initial call the receptionist specifically asked me the name of her prior Vet in Lynnwood so I provided that information. They emailed me a couple of times, called me, and left a voicemail a couple of days before her appointment to “confirm” with a lengthy message. I returned the call and asked their receptionist if they were able to obtain her last records from her prior Vet. She said “no”. I also asked her if I could get an estimate of the cost of her visit. She said “you can get the estimate at the the time of her appointment”. I was so annoyed that I called back and cancelled her appointment. They exerted the effort to call and email me for confirmation of her appointment but made no effort to contact her prior Vet for her records. If they would have done so, they could have had her prior records and could have given me an estimate as to the cost of the visit. Very unprofessional. Any Veterinarian office who makes the slightest effort will gain more stars automatically. Pathetic.

My family has been taking cats and dogs here for 50 years. My pets are the most important things in my life and I’m very particular about who I trust with their health. Dr. Le is very knowledgeable but also very understanding. They might not be the cheapest vet, but I don’t want to take my dogs to the cheapest vet. Cheap vets can be very costly in the long run. Their prices are fair, about average. I wish healthcare for humans was as good and affordable as the care my furry family received at Burien Veterinary.

I love everyone who works here. Have been coming here for years and years. If you have to make the decision to put one of you're pets to sleep they are wonderful during this difficult time.

I wish I could give the Docs and Staff here more than 5 stars. I initially took my dog here after visiting several other vets who did not want to do testing on my dog. He couldn't walk, we had to carry him where ever be it to go potty, to eat, you name it! When we visited we were so very lucky to get the doctor we did! Dr Kronenburg saved my dogs life. She was attentive, compassionate, and most of all knowledgable. I've had dogs my entire life but I have never had the luxury of having a vet and vet techs that I trust 100%. Were moving out of state so we have to find a new Vet and honestly I dont think I will ever find one with the level of Professionality and Knoweldge as I had at Burien Vet! 11/10 would recommend!

I had to put down my best friend aka my senior citizen dog "Bossy" and this vet was literally the best. She shower showe care and empathy when I was crying. It meant so much to me and I will never forget her care durring the process. So …

Such a wonderful collection of caring doctors and staff. They understand that our pets are family members and display their genuine compassion and experience each and every visit.

We got our first dog 30 years ago when we lived in Des Moines, and we brought him to see Dr. Williams at Burien Vet for all of his veterinary care. We are on our fourth dog and now see Dr. Williams’s daughter-in-law, Dr. Le. She is knowledgeable and compassionate with both Rocky and us. The other doctors, technicians and support staff are always so friendly and able to help us and our dogs. We now live in Kent, but we don’t mind the extra 30 minute drive to bring our dogs here. We highly recommend this clinic.

They just saved our baby, Lena! She had a terrible tumor removed. The staff was excellent, the office was immaculate, and the Doctor's work was a miracle! Thank you all more than I can express!

Wonderful place. The staff and our vet, Dr. Whitty, are all amazing and wonderful with our dog, Duchess, who loves them in kind. This is an awesome practice. FYI: The reviewer (Loy Shaw) who commented on a rude male veterinarian--this practice has zero male veterinarian and has never had one. The review is wildly inaccurate.

The staff here are very nice. However, the vet Dr. could have cared less about my sweet dog Tank. All he wanted was $$$$. He just let our only choice be euthanasia because we could not come up front with $3800. We were able to get about $2000 of it and pleaded for a payment option. He flat out said no. You KILLED my dog in my opinion you horrible beast! I also PAID for a cremation with Tanks ashes saved in container for us to have. Well, a couple months have gone by and guess what? Not even a call. Where is my murdered dogs ashes?! I hate this place.

LOY SHAW, you have reviewed the wrong hospital. Burien Veterinary Hospital has no record of you, nor your dog Tank and are not in possession of Tanks ashes. We have not had a male doctor work for us in over 9 years. I wish you would remove your incorrectly placed review.

Very caring, professional. Gave our dog excellent treatment. Answered all of my questions.

If I could give a zero I would. Our sweet kitty was really social and loved people until we took her here to get her shots updated. We think they mishandled her because she was sore in the ribs and we couldn't pick her up for about 3 weeks. She was mean to us and everyone that came in our house. She would hiss and scratch if you got close to her. She has been like that with strangers ever since (and still has mixed attitudes with us), but recently she has started to come out of it. I would NEVER recommend Burien Veterinarian Hospital. They were recommended to us, but they wouldn't let us go in the exam room with her and the shots took forever, so we knew something was wrong. We think she freaked out, because we weren't there with her, and were very rough with her. We could tell the vet assistant was really mad when she brought her back out us and our kitty has never been the same since. It makes me so sad and very very mad to think she might have been mistreated back there, but we have no way to prove it.

Just started coming here 6 months ago and have had great experiences so far. Very helpful, caring staff and also willing to work around our busy schedules to accommodate visits. Thank you very much Burien Vet Hospital!

My dog, Poppy, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this veterinary hospital. The staff and doctors are amazing. I will never take my pets anywhere else! Poppy is always so excited to go to the vet and the staff shows so much love and compassion.

We became acquainted with this office after adopting a kitten from Burien CARES which included a free checkup for him at BVH. We were treated wonderfully when we made an unscheduled visit with our old friend Jake. The staff were friendly and set us up in a room to wait for the doctor to see us. Jake was well-advanced in years (we never really knew how old he was, but at least 13) and was not doing well despite our efforts to nurse him back to health after a sudden downturn in his condition. We knew the probable outcome of the visit would be having him put down, which is what happened. Having been through this several times before, I can only praise all the staff for their compassion for us and Jake at that difficult time. Even nicer was the hand-written condolences card from the doctor we received in the mail. The fees were what I was expecting for the services: reasonable. No unneeded services suggested or advised. Friendly, accommodating staff. Segregated entries for canine and feline patients. We have a new vet for our feline and canine companions.

I have had fabulous experiences with these vets. I have taken two dogs and a cat to them.

A month and a half ago, I went to the vet as My dog, Ripley, was not doing well. I paid over 200 dollars for the visit with no real outcome of a diagnosis expect a 1500 dollar proposal bill to pay. She sounded like a salesman wanting to …

It was recently a very sad day for myself and " Buster Brown" my brittany. I chose Burien mainly based on price and what I found was very nice sensitive Doctors and helpers as Buster was put to rest. I liked that I did not have to walk out front to deal with billing as I was quite emotional dealing with the decision to part with my partner of 14 years. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you again for all your help during this to Buster and the support to me.
