We have entrusted our bernedoodle's care with Dr Rogers and her team since she was a wee pup. I always find that the explanations I'm given are thorough and amble to help make decisions. The team keeps up-to-date with science and best practice as it evolves. They don't hesitate to call specialists for their opinions. Our dog has food allergies and a sensitive belly and I love that Dr Rogers also has a bernedoodle so she knows the traits and health issues common in both breeds. This was our first puppy we raised and I found the whole team to be incredibly supportive along the way. Every interaction has a tone of with kindness and compassion, and very attentive care. Thank you!

Expensive and poor customer service. I was given a run-around as I arrived to a pre-scheduled appointment, they refused to take my dog in even masked outside the office unless I returned to my vehicle and called them on the phone prior to admitting the dog. They had all information about the dog (had a recent vet appt with them) and there was no other practical reason, no other customers around. You don't get this sort of humiliating treatment at any medical office today due to "COVID protocols". These people have serious brain issue post-COVID

So grateful to Dr. Myhre and the team at Loyal Family. They squeezed my dog in for an emergency appointment and were very thorough in answering all of my questions. Dr. Myhre is so warm and caring and my nervous dog was at ease with her. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends. Thank you!!

This is an addendum to my original review. In reading some of the negative responses, I would like to add that Dr. Rogers has been our vet since Dexter was a puppy. He is now 11. He gave us quite a scare several years ago and we thought we were going to lose him. He has an autoimmune disease, a form of arthritis and his front paws that had his joints crippled. It is hard to diagnose. He needed a joint tap to look at the fluid. He had already been misdiagnosed by one vet in Beaverton where we were staying at the time. Becky is not afraid to get a second opinion which was confirmed by the specialty hospital in Lynnwood. Also, the comment about medications being outrageous. They are all outrageous! I feel very fortunate that Dr Rogers is here for Dexter. He is a large lab like our others and so far has outlived all of them. My recommendation is if one of the doctors is not for you ask to see another for a second opinion. I find them very accommodating

Dr. Myhre and the staff were amazing! This was our first visit to a new vet and she made me and both cats feel completely at ease. She was so gentle and kind with them, and was really knowledgeable. She and the vet tech took the time to review their medical histories and asked all the right questions to make sure she had a complete picture.

Best Vet my cats have visited. Always friendly, a little expensive but always straightforward about costs and necessity of procedures

Outstanding service! All the staff were all professional, polite, and great with communication. The vet was very clear when going over everything and followed up as she said she would. One of the best vets that I've gone to and highly recommend to friends/family.

Really sweet team, they provide so many different checkups for our cat. Even an annual checkup is thorough compared to other vets. You can really feel how much they care for our pets.

We've been patients at Loyal Family for over 5 years and I can't speak highly enough of the team. They listen to the owners and come up with care plans that take everything into account. I've had very sick dogs that are pretty complicated and have always been satisfied that they are receiving the best care possible. We love Dr. Rogers and every member from to the front office to the vet assistants and specialists.

Dear Loyal Family Vet, Thank you for being the BEST vets in town! From day one, Dr. Kuyper has been there for my puppy Tano. She is very professional, kind, and is in your pets corner. Dr. Hornickel is another great vet as well! Thank you entire team for always taking care of my little one!

I appreciate the "response from the owner" below. It has been a better experience lately and Dr. Hornickel in particular is amazing! The doctors are always great. The techs are always great with my pup. But I don’t feel well treated as a human by reception. Example 1; when my dad died, I wanted to take my dog with me as comfort to go and handle everything. I had never flown with my dog before so I didn’t know what was needed. Talking the receptionist was painful. Just very robotic questions and responses and unwillingness to work with me to get the certificate done the next day given the circumstances. Even if an appointment couldn’t be made, it would have been kind to have empathy and apologize or try to talk with the staff and call me back to see if something could be worked out. But it was very black and white, “we don’t have an appointment on such short notice.” Sorry that my dad’s death didn’t fit your schedule. Example 2: I spoke with a doctor about international travel with my dog. We made a plan. She told me to call back closer to my leave date to set the actual appointment. I did that but when I called back the receptionist I spoke with kept asking me to reshash all of the details again and was obviously not happy with me not just directly responding with a straightforward answer. I tried to explain that I did that with the doctor and just need to speak with her to set the appointment. Finally, they said she’s not in today so they can leave a note for her to call me back the next business day. I said thank you I’d appreciate it because it’s a lot of details. And then they just abruptly hung up. Example 3: When I tried to call to initially ask about international travel I was dismissed. There are many specific tests and requirements for any country you go to, I learned later through my own research, and all I got was “it depends on the airline you fly with”. It’s like they don’t take the time to hear me and just assume and respond and then become easily frustrated.

Everything about the visit to the Loyal Famoly Veterinary Hospital was great!! Making an appointment was straight forward and we were able to be seen quickly. Dr. Hornickel phoned me to discuss the options for bringing Holly's vaccine records up to date from heart worm and fleas and tick prevention to canine influenza, rabies, and all during the annual exam. Dr. Hornickel discussed the steps for flushing clean Holly's ears. They followed up the next day to check in and answer any questions. They responsibly social distance and follow safe practices to prioritize safety. Highly recommend if you're looking for a vet!

Our new puppy was very happy, and the doctor was patient with all of our questions. Due to COVID we weren't able to meet face to face, but the staff was very friendly and helpful!

I've been with Loyal Family for the past 3 years, ever since I got my dog as a pup. Super professional, clean and organized. Always available to answer my questions and address any concerns. Never pressured me into anything, which seems like an obvious thing, but I hear how that is not the case with some other places. I recommend loyal family to all my friends and I stayed with them even after I moved away (now takes me 30 minutes drive to come in).

I have felt very well taken care of from the very first vet visit we have had with our now 5 month old puppy. However, I really have to highlight my recent experience with Dr. Hornickel. She is one of those doctors that just goes above and beyond to help you and your pet. You can really tell that she cares about your pet and that it is important to her that you feel all of your questions are answered. She is patient, caring, attentive, and very professional. Highly recommend this place and especially Dr. Hornickel.

We have been going to Loyal Family for about 4 years and are always impressed by their care. Over the past few months, our dog Molly has had a number of complicated GI issues that we have seen Dr. Nelson and Dr. Hornickel for. They have spent a significant amount of time and attention on her care, including multiple follow up calls after appointments to ensure she is improving. Due to the pandemic, currently the front desk staff, techs and doctors are communicating with pet owners over the phone while their pet is in the clinic for the appointment. Despite these changes, I have never once felt like they have compromised quality of care. They spend just as much time, if not more time, ensuring that they understand your concerns and explain their plan over the phone. We are always provided with thorough explanations to our questions as well as a cost breakdown before proceeding with any diagnostic testing or treatment. Thank you to the entire team at Loyal Family for always taking such good care of Molly! We will continue to recommend you every chance we get.

We came from Japan and worried about whether or not we could meet with good vet for our dog. My dog had anaphylactic shock after vaccinations in other hospital. So, Dr. Kuyper took many times to explain vaccination. We could understood well. We are happy to meet good vet for our dog.

Great place! The vet techs are super friendly, the veterinarians are good about explaining what's going on and/or possible treatments aswell as upcoming preventative care for your animal. Will continue to bring Boone back to your office!

Our new puppy had his first vet visit during Covid19 pandemic. We waited outside while the pup was being seen. Knowing we're first time pet owners, the vet doctor very patiently and thoroughly went though everything with us over the phone while we sat in the car, for over an hour. I was impressed. The pup gets more attention from the vet then my 5-minutes annual physical I get from my own doctor.

I would not recommend Loyal Family Veternarian to anyone of my friends, neighbors or colleagues. The reason being they misdiagnosed my dog and recommended a surgery that was not needed. I took my dog to board certified veternarian surgeon and they stated the diagnosis was totally wrong. That my dog did not need a surgery. Please, keep your dog safe. I do not recommend anyone go to Loyal Family Veternarian.

The best thing in this hospital everything is super expensive. I tried to make appointment for my dog nail cut they told me have to do the exam+nail cut and it will cost $70(exam)+$24(nail cut)so they can help to me make this nail cut appointment for my dog.......never ever will come back again. If you don't want to waste your money better choose the other hospital for your pet. I am so disappointment for this hospital for my dog for more than last three years and what they did is only try their best to use my dogs insurance as maximum as they can.

We love taking our new puppy to see Dr. Laura Nelson! It is awesome to see how enthusiastic Laura is about seeing our puppy grow up at each appointment. She is immediately responsive to any and all questions that we have. This is my first dog, so it is comforting to know that her medical care is in good hands.

Great doctors who really care about your fur-babies. They always lay out your options so you can make a clear decision. Usually can get you in same day for urgent issues. And the entire staff is friendly and professional.

We have been seeing Dr. Newby for years for our dog & 2 cats. Everyone is absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet techs are so good with our animals and it's easy to see they enjoy their work. Dr. Newby is knowledgeable and clearly cares about our animals. Scheduling appointments has always been easy. The online pet portal is great. I also appreciate the upfront pricing.
