Was hesitant taking my chicken here since there are a bunch of bad reviews and it was the first time i had ever brought in an animal to any vet. But i was able to get in super fast got a high recommendation from bird and exotic animal on aurora. I was impressed by dr. Bruce’s knowledge about chickens. He has chickens himself and answered tons of my questions and talked me through what he was doing. I feel like his attitude matched my expectations as well- Lets do what we can within reason, lets not try anything that will be a high risk of recovery failure (i.e surgery). My girl had a semi impacted crop and he did what he could (flushed and massaged) got the mass down by about 50% and sent me home with some medicine and a detailed procedure of what i should do. The cost was reasonable. And comparable to what i was quoted for the same thing at bird and exotic animal on aurora. I will be returning here.

The worst vet clinic I've been to! My bird got sick and wasn't feeling better, so we decided to see the vet. We called every single clinic in the area, but every single clinic was booked for a month in advance, except this one. We were so grateful for being seen on such short notice. Dr. Bruce assisted us. Oh boy, was that a disaster! Not only did he misdiagnose our baby girl, but he said that she has less than a few days to live and that we should put her down to ease her suffering. The appointment was about 10 minutes, in which we felt hastened. Dr. Bruce appeared to be knowledgeable, but all he was saying to us was that our baby girl bird is dying. We went home heartbroken. With a lot of research, we were able to save our baby's life. I'm really furious because all Dr. Bruce cared about was moving on to the next patient without giving us adequate care. When I called the clinic to speak to this Dr. Bruce and told him and grateful we were to be seen by him and that he misdiagnosed our girl and that she is doing better, and hoping to talk about further steps we could take to prevent this from happening. His response was, "Glad your bird is doing better, but we will not refund your money, bye". Just save your money and energy.

We're charged over 100 dollars for 10 minutes of service just to be misdiagnosed and told that our bird will die in couple of days and there is nothing we can do about it. Dr. Bruce was extremely careless, lackadaisical, and lazy.

First I want to say this Vet was a life savior. We had an emergency and all vets were 8 to 10 hour wait in line. Obviously we cannot do that we have Saint Bernard 188 pounds. I called every Vet in the neighborhood (including our vet) and none could see him until next week. I called Crossroads Vet and they did not say no!!! They work the schedule so the doctor can see us on her lunch time (who does this!!!!!). We came and was seen immediately. We god diagnoses . Not only that with a big dog everything is very expensive, our visits always more than 200 dollars , god forbid we need medicine, just take out the mortgage . The bill came to less than 100 dollars including medicine, again OMG!!!!! So long story short we love the vet and will be transferring our dogs immediately.

2016, brought two chickens in. Charge $65 each bird to weigh them. One bird he said “she is just a sickly chicken” and the other he did nothing for. Unhappy and ridiculous charges for no fixing.

I want to use my right to freedom of speech to warn others. This is not libel, or bashing. ALL information is factual. Stay away if you love your pet. My dog died there in 2017. The clinic was sued and veterinary malpractice was confirmed by top expert. To me, shockingly unprofessional behavior, ignorance at finest, indifference and lack of compassion. Even though the vet Heather Hughes, who was taken care of my dog that day, and who had worked without renewal license, no longer at Crossroads Vet, same as assistants (just "kids" with high school diploma, none licensed), I still warn every pet parent do not trust this clinic blindly. I do believe, they will not fight for your loved one's life if something serious happens. What I learned, they do not value our fur kids life. Ironically, I liked Dr Bruce before tragedy happened, and had chosen him after checked a few local vets, but what I found out during investigation and legal process, changed my opinion completely. He supported Heather Hughes, who committed malpractice, and made me feel stuck in the mud providing false info, blaming and accusing me trying to defense themselves. PS: my previous review in 2017 was marked as funny by Crossroads vet employees. I deleted it. It was hard for me to handle it. The best defense is a good offense. It was so cynical since I have been suffering from PTS because of my fur kid death. It was funny for them knowing my poor dog was dying for 8 long hours bleeding all over, undue and exquisite suffering, while he was given prohibited meds, etc. Go figure what kind of people might work at the clinic and who take care of YOUR pet. I lost my dog, but do not want other pet parents to experience what I did. No other innocent animal should suffer in incompetent hands of the vet who does not respect their life and feeling. You have been warned.

Dr. Jen was amazing. I previously went to an emergency hospital and that place was a total rip off. They asked for $$$ to do x-rays and blood tests which was not needed if they actually had enough experience! All it took was a professional like Jen to figure out that something was off in my Guinea pig's mouth(tumor) by doing a quick physical exam. We stopped giving her the meds prescribed by the emergency hospital and eventually put her down to end her suffering. I highly recommend this place.

Don't even mess with this place they will take advantage of you no matter how much you make or how much you don't make and don't worry about getting a refill on antibiotics they'll conveniently forget to put the right notes in the system so they can lure you in for that second visit but at the end of the day this place is crooked. The doctor won't even ask you if you want biopsies another $500 Service, he'll just start doing it and then bill you unexpectedly these guys are literally taking advantage of the wealthier communities and this vet specifically is doing just that...

I highly recommend them for anyone who has rats. They genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of the critters they care for; they even got my rat in same day after she managed to escape from her cage and deglove her tail. Dr. Jen is an amazing and caring veterinarian and she's extremely nice and easy to talk to.

I am a first time chicken owner and came into the clinic with my little Buff Orpington who was not well. Our experience here was wonderful. Dr. Bruce was thorough in his exam and very patient when explaining what might be wrong with our chicken. I feel so fortunate to find a place that not only treats chickens, but also understands that sometimes these animals are pets and are deeply loved. He treated us both with the utmost respect and that was not lost on me. I hope the rest of our flock stays well, but if they don’t, I won’t hesitate to bring them back here.

I had a 7 day old silkie chicken, and couldn't find anyone who would treat her. I found crossroads, and will never take my chickens anywhere else. They were amazing and fixed my sweet little silkie chick.

My sweet pug passed away on Friday 9/28/18. He was taken from us due to veterinarian malpractice from Crossroads Vet. My dog was prescribed 1 ml of bronchitis medication instead of proper dosage of 0.1 ml. Egregious error gave him TEN times the normal dosage for a dog. My fur baby fought valiantly to stay with us but couldn't breathe because his little heart was beating too fast. He suffered and was in pain all night. Eventually we ran out of all medical options and we couldn't see him suffer. He crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully next to mommy and daddy. We love him more than anything and we're broken without him.

Crossroads Vet, Dr. Singbeil and has staff are fantastic. They are polite, friendly, and treat you like you are family. Dr. Singbeil always takes the time to answer questions about any concerns you might have an gives you additional information if needed. He is wonderful with cats but also with rabbits. I would recommend Crossroads vet to anyone that is looking for quality veterinarian services.

Dr Bruce and his staff are wonderful, I have intrusted all of my pets to be in care of Crossroads vet and have felt they take great care and concern with my fur kids. Never have I felt pressure for unnessary medication or procedures and feel the price is on point for the care received. Shout out to Shawnae who has even pet sitted for me quite a few times and has helped to ease my anxiety about leaving my pets at home. Ran into Dr Bruce randomly having dinner and he was so nice to check on one of my cats currently having tummy trouble, great bedside manner if you ask me.

I cannot imagine taking our boy Alfy to another place. We have been like a family with Crossroads Vet and their fantastic team for nearly four years and just the mention of this place, Alfy starts his happy dance out of excitement to go meet all his super sweet and amazing friends here. They have never failed to put the animal or bird first, more than anything and offer exceptional treatment and advice. We do not hesitate to make the trip to Crossroads Vet even though we moved away from this area! Thank you for the amazing care, love and attention you give the pet and the parents!

Dr. Singbeil has been kind, generous, and very patient and thorough treating my friend's dog. I am dog sitting and her family cannot easily be reached. Dr. S. has taken our calls, treated this dog we love, and has shown the most empathy and concern for her. THANK YOU Dr. Singbeil and staff for making a scary situation so much easier for friends and family. I highly recommend this veterinary office and their compassionate staff.

I had an emergency many years ago I wish this review was available back then. I sure Dr B remembers my dog DIEGO.Because he went all out for him.He was stolen from my enclosed porch on a fourth of July by someone who wanted to fight him against his Pitt.Diego is a Pitt/Boxer mix the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. This guy (I caught bringing him back) brought him back with a severly broken rear right leg.It took 2 days to find a vet that did not want to charge over $5,000.00. Not knowing me Dr Bruce took him in and helped me out by keeping the costs down. Did a magnificent job repairing the breaks. He did surgery lined up the breaks put rods in to hold togeather and you can only tell it ever happened because he has a slight limp and a crease where the scar is. Its great he saved the leg. Never has had a problem w it. If i hear of someone needing a vet a great vet I tell them about this wonderful talented man I'll never forget him. If you want a kind compassionate Doctor bring your four legged or 2 to Dr Bruce he can handle anything. I swear you wont know how you got along without him. Karolyn Pearson and Diego

It's not easy to find a vet who can treat chickens, but my hen has had great care here. I was able to get her in very quickly when I noticed that she had injured one of her legs. The people here are wonderful- very compassionate. My hen's leg was broken and is healing beautifully. I am very grateful for this vet and highly recommend them.
