Companion Animal Hospital Bellevue, Washington

If you need a quality vet, or amazing and personalized boarding experience this is the place for you. I have taken all of our dogs to this facility, and comfortably been able to leave them for weeks knowing I could continue my travels. The staff are very knowledgeable and I get the feeling treat my dogs with the utmost respect. My dogs welcome their visit to the facility unlike other boarding facilities.

Dr. Haggert is extremely helpful and caring. For 10 years she has educated and prepared me for having my first dog. Taking a nervous furmom and making her confident in loving her dog. Thank you Dr. Valerie. Lihue loves you.

I have been a customer at companion animal hospital for more than a year. While with Covid other hospitals have been focusing more on their own client base companion is not doing that. I have 3 separate cases where my pet has been required some urgent clinic visits and each case they are not able to accommodate us. The bigger problem is they don’t even ask what’s the issue the pet is facing. In case of pets most cases are urgent if the clinic is not able to get it and have some compassion then it’s better to not their client. In any case I have to go to emergency care and the nurses over their are able to atleast come out and check on the Pet and say if it’s life threatening or needs immediate attention. My dog had an abscess and I was in the parking lot for companion and they did not even offer suggest can I check on your dog just to see if it can wait. I went to aes Kirkland and the nurse checked it and mentioned it’s not life threatening but needs attention today and they are able to help.

Mere words are not enough to express my satisfaction. The whole team is excellent, supportive and they all know what they are doing. The prices are reasonable.

More directions inside would be helpful.

They have taken exceptional care of my blue heelers since 2018. My fur babies have had many problems and many false alarms. No matter what it's been they settled my nervousness and treated my babies like there own. Great place to have found!

Great service and experienced vets.

They weren't really very friendly. Most medical facilities attempt to treat you like family. I asked them 3 times to make sure my dog's chip was updated with my information and when I was done there it hadn't been done. I had to bring my dog back another day and call ahead for social distancing. I really wasn't impressed or happy with them at all.

Live in Oly ((having moved from Renton) but still like Dr. Smith so worth the drive for our dogs. She's personable and gives a lot of time to discuss our thoughts and concerns

They are great at taking your money for easy check ups but when you actually need them for an emergency they tell you to go somewhere else or it will be days before they see you. Absolutely horrible!! I wish I could give them zero stars!!

Service during covid and great communication.

I had good experience with the office before the pandemic. Not sure what happened with the office lately. They used to send me emails, call and leave a voice message to remind me of my appointments for the past few years. Interestingly, they didn’t send me any reminders of my upcoming appointment for 2 consecutive times lately. I normally schedule my appointment at least 1-2 months ahead of time, and not keeping track of them very closely. I am counting on office’s reminder as appointment get close. Now I am thinking about switching to another vet who at least send out reminders.

Always pleased with taking our fur baby here. The staff is sweet.
