Best Friends Grooming Salon Bellevue, Washington

I take my dog Copper to Best Friends for nail trimming. I've been there many times. No issues. I never need to make an appointment. They are efficient and not overly expensive.

Very friendly and I was very happy with the outcome. We have an elderly dog who was in rough shape with her fur/hair. She looked great and didn't have too get shaved, which was great. Thank you!

I have an older dog that needs special attention and they do a great job with her. All my experiences have been positive. I continue to use them.

Avoid this place at all cost if you love your pet!! Best friends? More like worst friend. Our dog came out looking a little scared. We dropped off our dog in the morning as we were directed to at 9:00am. While dropping off we were not given any approximate time when our dog should be ready by. Our dog was in there for normal wash and groom. We had been there one time previously where it took them around 4 hours. This time we waited more than 6 hours and Bella was still not ready. She’s a medium sized dog. There is no way it should take 6 hours + to groom a dog. At last we picked up Bella because we were not sure what’s taking so long. Extremely disappointed with their service and communication. The front desk girl was unapologetic to the situation. I will never return here.

I've taken my cats to Mary for about 4 visits now, she always takes real good care of them and knows how to make them feel comfortable. They always come back home looking pretty as ever and smelling great!

I have tried this place a few times with my sheltie, and they just can't get it right. They can't trim her feet properly and they don't seem to have any idea how to groom double coated breeds. She is currently blowing coat, so when I took her in to have the undercoat blown out, they only gave her a bath and that was it. My dog's undercoat is now severely matted (which is what happens when you just bathe and don't BRUSH), and I am going to have to take her somewhere else to get the job done right. And have to pay more money!! I'm so upset.... wish I could get a refund! My advice is, if you have a dog that has specific grooming needs, find someplace else. If you just need a bath and nail trim, then this place is reasonably priced enough, considering it's Bellevue.

Wonderful experience. Our dog usually hates the groomer but they take the time and make both the woofer and us happy! Plus the prices are very fair - the best bath cut we've found. Dog approved and we won't go anywhere else

They shaved our Shetland sheepdog & we had to put him to sleep 3 months later. The groomers have no knowledge of proper grooming for the type of breed. Don’t go here. Horrible place.

Nice enough but they can't get my dogs haircut right. This time when dropping him off I brought pictures to leave for stylist to show desired look, was asked if I wanted the Terrier cut, I said that would be great, just not too fluffy and don't make eyebrows sharp or pointy looking, she said no problem. When I picked him up he didn't have the Terrier cut, all hair was cut to the same length everywhere. Oh yeah, his eyebrows, they trimmed his eyebrows completely OFF. So, not sure I'll be back. I've been twice, both times unhappy with cut, for $70 I expect much better. They also require you leave them for the whole day.

We are from out of town, an extended stay in Bellevue. Our dog Charley, a combination Maltese and Lhasa also, badly needed grooming. We took a chance on Best Friends based on reviews. Very glad we did. He came out very nicely groomed, with a chic bandana. Only negative was it took a long time. We dropped him off at 9 and he was done after 2.

This was my first time with Best Friends Grooming Salon and I am not sending my best friend to them ever again. Poor dog came back really scared from this place and and was sitting in a corner for the whole day. Also, they didn't do a good job of grooming him. Infact, PetSmart groomers do a better job than these folks!

This is the second time I have taken my sweet angel to Best Friends Grooming Salon and I absolutely love them!! I was a bit worried both times, but she always turns out looking just like how I ask. She is never skiddish or frightened afterwards and seems much happier with her new cut. Thank you for taking care of my best friend!

Friendly, dedicated staff with skills to match! The guests who shop at my pet supply store have had a great experience here and recommended I pay them a visit. They are easily located and have a hassle-free parking lot. The shop is very neat, clean and smells good. Their customers were happy and the staff handles their furry family members with care. It’s hard to find a good pet groomer around town like these guys. I highly recommend them! ????????

It's in the details!! It was our first time at this salon, since we haven't lived in WA for all that long, but we've been to lots of grooming appointments with our dogs over the years. Best Friends really has their service down. They are efficient, but caring. Our dog, pictured here, is a 14.5 y.o. Portuguese Water Dog with a thick wavy coat that needs grooming every 6-8 weeks. He's in very poor health (sore joints, deaf, and some neurological issues), but they handled him with patience and kindness. The groomer was observant and responsive to his pain or discomfort. They even scheduled him for early check-in and quick turnaround so that his stress level would be lower. On top of all that, his cut looks great!! It's even all over, which is amazing because I'm sure he layed down most of the time. Well done!!

My mutt came out looking like a whole new pup. So stinking cute and smells great. The folks working there are super friendly and very covid safe. Love it!

Friendly service and excellent grooming

It was terrible experience - avoid at all cost!!! They did exactly what I asked them not to do! And on top of that, they shaved part of her chest almost to the skin - this is ridiculous! Bunch of amateurs-never ever!

We took our terrier mix Codey for his grooming two weeks ago. When we picked him up and took him home, we noticed cuts in his skin which were bleeding and the groomers did not disclose this to us. We understand that nicks and cuts happen during grooming but this was a fairly large cut and we would’ve appreciated them telling us it happened. Also he developed a yeast ear infection a week after his grooming. He’s never had a ear infection before and nothing else in his routine changed besides the groom so our vet thinks it’s from the groomers. Wouldn’t bring our pup in again.

We took Dee, our 8 year old Chihuahua, to Best Friends to be groomed yesterday. We asked for a “Mohawk” type groom and they called over the master groomer to help us decide what we wanted exactly. They knocked it out of the park. Dee looks fantastic!!! And she was happy and wasn’t anxious and scared afterwards, like when we usually take her to get groomed at other places. We’ll definitely use them from now on!

The staff was super welcoming and made my dog feel at home right away. Definitely recommend this place!

I love this grooming salon! I'm in and out with my dogs for nail clips in just a few minutes. They are pros.

It has taken me a long time to find a place I truly feel comfortable taking my dog. They are warm, friendly and experienced groomers. As well, they do an outstanding job grooming my dog. I would highly recommend them.

Under new management, they no longer accept cats.

Wonderful staff. They did an amazing job with my dog Loki, who had bad experiences at different groomers in the past. Loki is getting older and has gone deaf, but everyone here was gentle and kind with him. We're definitely going back.
