Great customer service from the front office to the back and the Vets are very kind and thorough with care and recommendations.

No protocol was detailed in advance. I made an appointment, they mixed it up and I took the later time for their mistake. When we arrived, we were outright yelled at (!!) to get out of the building and wait in the car. Then, they were rude again and told ME I had an attitude. She also told me I was taking up too much time talking, & it was cutting into my pet’s appt. time. The techs were rude & unprofessional and I will never return. I paid for this mistreatment in full 24 hours in advance. Our cat, also made to wait, was increasingly distressed. In the discussion with the vet (suddenly there was plenty of time), I was pushed to have other tests performed—why would I want to spend more money there after being yelled at twice?—& I had to ask to have specific questions asked. I felt the vet was pushing me into more tests to be performed beyond the regrettable visit fee I’d already paid. Nasty techs, rude & unprofessional. To avoid.

I agree with other comments that state how Dr. Anderson is condescending. It is beyond unprofessional for her to speak down to any patient/client who has come to this office for help. I did not see any other redeeming qualities that would warrant me to want to return. Service was subpar. I am beyond disappointed in the treatment I received. I kept my composure while being belittled for the sake of my beloved pet. Dr. Anderson was very dismissive and passive aggressive. May I remind this office and Dr. Anderson of how difficult it has been these past few years. Not everyone is lucky to afford treatment for their pet/pets. Heck, most of us can’t even afford medical treatment for ourselves. I did not go to an office for help just to have someone kick me down when I’m already feeling so low. I am disgusted with her lack of empathy and compassion. How can I trust someone like that to care for my most precious companion?

It's hard to find a good vet these days with them being inundated with Pandemic Pets (which is a quality problem!). I had to wait a bit but WellHaven was the first place that had the earliest opening for me Me and my senior cat were treated well and that means a lot. Thanks team at WellHaven!

These peeps always screw things up.... wrong dosage of medications administered, and they don't give u all the medications you've paid for unless u ask for them each individually. You know what my dogs take, you should do the organizing.... not your customers. And lady on the phone was so annoyingly condescending when I called. #fail

Everything related to WellHaven Pet Health has always been top notch - from customer service to the care my pet receives, to the willingness of the vet and assistant to take the time to answer any questions. I know my pet is in great hands at WellHaven.

I was so impressed with this office! I've taken my rabbit to two other vets prior to this office. And wow! The staff was kind, knowledgable, and they handled my large rabbit wonderfully. She was calm and at ease (as much a pet could be a the vet) and the clinic staff was amazing checking in and following up on my rabbits care/needs. Rabbits are already tricky animals but I felt comfortable and less nervous during the appointment and so did my bunny during her appointment.

While this vet clinic has very good intentions, the Dr’s do not seem to have cat specific experience or knowledge to provide proactive care. Dr Anderson is overly cautious and cost me unnecessary money twice just to “cover her bases”. Another time she prescribed me eye drops I still had without speaking to me about the current situation. Dr Nelson is better and seems to know more, but still was not seemingly confident in her decisions for my pet’s care. My cat was injured during a visit in February. The clinic didn’t admit to it, but did tell me that they had clipped his claw to the quick. When I got home he was walking on his paw like it was broken and they told me he was “being dramatic”. This felt incredibly dismissive and lacking integrity. I ended up changing vets to continue both of my pet’s care because I no longer trust this clinic with my pets. I have cats and cannot speak to their knowledge of experience with dogs, but if you have a cat I would suggest taking your pet to a cat only clinic.

The staff at WellHaven Cedar Hills are friendly and respectful, but the attending vet, Dr. Nelson, is inadequate in her attention to detail and ability to provide informed care for cats. After adopting a kitten at HSSW, I scheduled a complementary post-adoption veterinary care with one of the partnered clinics as the shelter itself (HSSW) advised addressing the kitten’s potential URI (upper respiratory infection) promptly. Dr. Nelson stated that URI symptoms should resolve on their own in 1-3 weeks. However, when supplied with medical records that indicated the kitten had a URI monitor that had been in effect for over 4 weeks at the shelter, Dr. Nelson said the “light symptoms” did not call for treatment as the kitten was asymptomatic and “did not sneeze” during the 10-15 minute visit. Dr. Nelson also stated she did not observe sufficient nasal or ocular discharge to warrant for concern, which is an inconclusive supporting argument given that the kitten had been cleaned just prior to the visit. Upon calling my primary vet clinic (Pearl Animal Hospital) after the visit, they advised that I inquire if the WellHaven clinic is able to prescribe medication for URI symptoms until they are able to see the kitten at the next available appointment. Dr. Nelson disregarded this advice upon being consulted. Although she is a kind lady to interact with, her mind seems elsewhere and she is inattentive to the details and objective observations that are vital for a qualified health professional to have when making informed decisions.

This pet clinic was very kind and accommodating to me and my very difficult cat. She is feeling much better now, and the experience did not drain my entire savings (thank God) thanks guys! ❤️

Our first visit was great our vet was nice and took care of my baby girl unfortunatly after a year of them taking care of my kiddo and having great experiences they changed the wellness plans and charged me extra for her preventative health id been paying for the past year and a half they suck! This has nothing to do with the staff it's about corporate changing their plans without notice on hidden charges. Don't sign up for wellness plan here. They screw you later on it!

A friend of mine recommended Wellhaven to me when my Home vet wasn't able to see my 8 year Lab in an emergency situation. My dog got into a crab down at the beach and her eye swelled up to the point where she could not see out of it. She was in extreme pain. Happened on a weekend and Wellhaven got me in on a Monday and identified a preexisting abscessed tooth and an ear infection, which was compounded by the crab incident. They got her in the next day and removed the tooth and put her on antibiotics for the infection. In a follow up appointment I was informed that the bacterial infection was identified and that we were on the correct antibiotic. My lab is on the mend and feeling great and able to see again after a scary incident. Very grateful to Dr. Donna Anderson and all of the staff a Wellhaven.

Curb-side assistance, very professional and detailed. We got to have all our checks and questions answered. AND, they called the next day to check in on him! What great service.... when was the last time your doctor called you the next day? This will be our vet for our baby going forward. I highly recommend!

When my young rat, Kiki, was dealing with respiratory issues, WellHaven treated the matter very gently and professionally. The staff were kind, friendly, and handled my little baby with great care. The check-up only lasted around 20 minutes, and that, plus the two medications prescribed, came out to about $120, which is about what I expected to pay. The medication worked like a charm. After about a week or so, all respiratory issues disappeared! She's now a very healthy, happy, and hyper rat. About 3 - 4 weeks later we returned for a check-up, which only cost around $40 (which is half the price I would have paid for a visit to my vet back in California; nothing against them, though, as they were a fantastic staff). Big thumbs up to the WellHaven crew! Even little Kiki likes them. (You guys are rat-approved. Ha-ha.) Many thanks to the staff!

WellHaven Cedar Hills is a friendly and convenient neighborhood vet! They were very kind and responsive before we had even brought our new puppy home. Quick answers via e-mail, and prompt results to tests.

The staff I’ve interacted with are always amazing and want to do everything for your pet. This review itself reflects my interactions with one of the vets on staff. She’s pretty rude and I’ve butted heads with her a few times in regards to my animals. Working and going to school full time is hard, especially when you’ve got a dog with some eye issues. I was told that there were no appointments for the week and the vet gave me an attitude when I told her that and said the schedule I have doesn’t work for this week and could only be put on a waiting list for an appointment . Instead of being supportive and wanting to work around it, I was given an attitude that made me want to leave immediately for it while being made to feel like a terrible owner for things I can’t control. The same happened when I was trying to explain I didn’t need pain meds and apparently didn’t understand my own dog that I’ve had since I was a little girl, but they were still pushed on me. I was offered an anti-inflammatory to help with the swelling but was never given it by this vet. The appointment was a waste of time since I came early for the starting eye issue and was told they couldn’t do anything after insisting I come in right away. Don’t insist on a dog coming in right away if you’re going to say it’s too early to do anything at all. This is the same vet who my mom refused to take her dog to before he passed because of this one vet’s attitude. I love it there, but I’ll probably be finding a new place for my dog. The care is amazing there, but this one vet makes me feel like a terrible owner when in reality we’re all trying our best given the circumstances we’re dealing with and just trying to take care of our furry friend who means the world to us. I’m not a vet, therefore I will never understand the delicate inner workings of animals, but I don’t need to feel like a terrible owner either.

Amazing vet clinic, 100% recommended especially for new puppies! This is our first ever visit to a vet clinic, and we are glad we went to Wellhaven for our puppy’s vet. Wellhaven team offered fantastic customer service and they were very informative about how to take care of my 9 week old puppy. Answered all the questions I had as a beginner owner & they also offer great plan options for more affordable care. It is curbside only but the the staffs make this process a lot easier and convenient for the customers. Thank you so much, Wellhaven team! ????❤️

I cannot recommend this vet clinic highly enough!! They are kind, professional, responsive, considerate, and truly care about the well-being of your pets. Here's the full story: Our golden retriever puppy Winnie was around the end of her first heat cycle when we started noticing some concerning symptoms. We took her in to WellHaven to check on her and try to get a diagnosis. They found an infection and prescribed some antibiotics, but let us know we should keep an eye on her because it was possible the infection was a sign of a more serious condition called pyometra. We watched her closely the next day, and when things got worse quickly, we rushed her back in to WellHaven. It was a busy day for them and their schedule was completely booked. But they agreed to see her and with one look they could tell she was not doing well. They took her and started testing and monitoring her between scheduled clients--one technician skipped her lunch break to be sure to watch Winnie closely. X-Rays revealed she did have pyometra, which was cause for emergency, life-saving surgery. WellHaven was completely booked that day and the next, so they called vet emergency hospitals in the area to see if anyone was available. Nothing was available, so WellHaven cleared all their appointments for the next morning and called in additional staff who would have otherwise been off, all to save our puppy's life. The surgery was successful and far more affordable than it would have been at emergency hospitals. At every step of this awful journey every veterinarian, technician, and assistant we worked with was kind, compassionate, professional, responsive, considerate, patient with our stress and loving/gentle towards our puppy. I am honestly still shocked at their level of service and care. If more people and businesses took care of their customers and patients like WellHaven, the world would be a better place. I can't express how grateful I am that they moved heaven and earth to save my dog's life.

Good customer service and true value are not common in any industry anymore so when I find a business, such as this one, that works with both in mind - I am happy to spread the news. This vet practice has truly been friendly, professional and attendant. My son's new kitten loves it too ( but not the shots).

Every member of the WellHaven team has been an absolute gem to work with. Friendly and professional; reasonably priced (especially the yearly cat plan!). Doctor Anderson was so generous with her time explaining everything thoroughly and making sure I had all of the information I need to help my cat live her best life. My cat is not looking forward to her dental exam next month.

My 9 week baby has an ear infection, he cried and was restless all night. WellHaven got him in within a few hours of calling. They were so friendly and helpful. In 30 minutes I was on my way home with his medicine and detailed instructions on how to use them. Now he's sleeping soundly with his buddies. Thank you WellHaven! My experience with WellHaven couldn't possibly be better. Everyone is always so helpful and kind. Best is my Nimbus is comfortable with them and doesn't get upset going to the vet.
