All About Cats Cat Clinic Hillsboro, Washington

These folks care about your cat! Unlike some vets, they are gentle and patient with cats, not expecting them to "get with the game" like dogs do. I brought my three 2-year-olds for a full set of shots. The vet explained options, took temperatures and got each cat comfortable enough to administer the vaccinations. It was well worth going to a cat specialist and I highly recommend All About Cats.

Love this clinic! The ladies who work there have fabulous purple hair too and great customer service. Before my first appointment, i was a bit needy - i needed answers to SO many questions, not only were they extremely helpful, they were clear and when time came for my little kitty's appointment, i knew almost exactly the cost and what to expect and they REALLY delivered. I highly recommend this clinic. Fabulous staff, great service, quick and thorough.

Am so glad I chose All About Cats for my veterinarian. My cat needed blood work done and the doctor pulled enough at one drawing to run multiple tests without having to put my kitty through it again. I truly appreciate the care and compassion they have for animals.

I brought my kitty here for a check-up and to get chipped. She is very shy and nervous in general, but the team here handled her gently and patiently. When I got her home afterwards, she wasn't upset at all. The staff were all very friendly to me as well, and the vet made sure all my concerns were addressed. They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I will absolutely come to this cat clinic for all my kitty's needs in the future.

This place wanted to charge $75 to examine my cat before setting up a spay appointment. Then said they charge $345 for the spay! These rip offs are charging people over $400 to spay your cat! Needless to say I found a much more reasonable option, and had my cat fixed for $60 which included all of her shots as well.

Dr. Rataj is easily the best vet I have ever brought my cats to. He has a conservative approach and only runs tests that he feels will help a diagnosis. He is aware of costs of treatment and does an excellent job spelling out the effectiveness of treatment vs cost, as well as the affects of your cat's condition. His staff are always helpful and extremely friendly. The only downside is that everyone else knows about this place so scheduling can be difficult, but that's a sign of just how good they are.

Absolutely love Dr Rataj and his crew.... First met them when I visited this clinic as an industry rep and couldn't transfer the care of my two precious felines here fast enough !!! Have been really impressed with the knowledge base and the way my cats are treated and feel blessed to have found them !

We have 3 cats that we take to All About Cats that are seen by Dr. Rataj. The staff is very communicative in every step of the process, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Rataj is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. Our first two cats were easy, but we would have no idea where to start with our rescue kitten without his help. This is definitely a clinic I would recommend to first time cat owners who aren't sure what their cat needs to be healthy, and for those who are concerned their cat is sick and unsure of what's going on. Edit: I've had an appointment during COVID-19 and can say they're doing it right. They greet you outside to check in your pet, then call you to go over any concerns. Payment can be done via mobile card reader when you pick up your pet outside, then you're off! Super easy.

A great first experience. Staff were very informative during the whole process. I stopped off my cat to get checked and the Vet called to go over my cats wellness check. I had some concerns from past Heath issues and the Vet suggested a test. I said sure. Picked up my cat forgetting to ask about the results of the test. I was going to call back but the Vet called me again. Definitely now my new veterinary clinic for my cat.

They were not open. They never 0semm to be. I received a kitty as a gift and was trying to take it in.

Had previously made an appointment with All About Cats for a regular cat checkup and had talked to Lisa who was super nice and helpful. On 5/23 I found a lost/abandoned kitten in my apartment complex and took it in over the weekend. I registered it with Washington County (as is law) and began my search for the owner. No vets were open as it was the long weekend, so on Tuesday 5/26 I called to ask if they could scan for a chip and make sure kitty wasn’t seriously ill. I talked to an older sounding woman (not Lisa) who was incredibly rude and condescending. She insisted I take it to Bonnie L Hayes (who is not currently accepting strays due to Covid) and that they couldn’t do anything for the cat. I found that incredible that she would refuse to make an appointment to scan for a chip and check the cats health—and that she was unaware of BLH’s policy. I felt like she didn’t listen to a word I said and was in a hurry to get back to whatever she was doing before. I immediately called my old vet (15 miles away) and they got kitty in quickly. I will be cancelling the future appointment I made for my cat’s check-up. I’m sure the doctors are great, but I’m not trusting my animal to a place that can’t take the time to listen to basic info about an animal and treats clients like this.

Our cat got sick during Covid-19 and AACCC made sure to keep social distancing measures while caring for our little guy. Safe and professional.

Best care my cats have gotten

A Veterinary Clinic specializing in cats only, located in Hillsboro, Oregon. The staff there is friendly, and the vet is fairly gentle in dealing with the animals. I had originally given a good revue to this vet, but recently his actions have made me rethink my first impression. I will write more and explain my concerns again soon. Stay tuned.

It is such a difference walking into this Cats Only clinic. My kitties stay calm and are much less stressed out, therefore I am relaxed and the experience is all around as ideal as it can be. Dr. Rataj is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He listens and gives the my kitties the best care I’ve seen in all the years of vet visits. The staff is kind and again seems very caring. Prices seem reasonable. I do wish they were open on Saturday but understand and appreciate that they are a private business and haven’t sold out to VCA. My cats give this clinic a purrrrrfect 2 paws up!

We first brought two new cats here after seeing their name on the list for vet checkups from the shelter and good reviews online. Since first bringing them in we’ve transferred our other cats here, too. While we like our other vet a lot (and our dogs still go there), the environment is just so much quieter and calmer which makes our cats happier and about as calm as they can be after a car ride and being in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. I’m also really impressed with how much time they spend soothing and petting them and doing their best to make them comfortable and happy. They don’t just rush them through. They take the time to get to know them and learn about any issues they might have. We’ve now seen 3 different vets here and all of them have been great with our brats! :)

I've been taking my kitties here for many years first to Dr. Minor and now to Dr. Rataj. Compassionate & knowledgeable vet. They always take great care of my furbabies. The staff is awesome. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. They take fabulous care of my sweet baby, even when she throws them some tortitude (HA!), and are just so incredibly caring. Dr. Rataj never discounts my concerns or brushes me off and is very patient with me and the 800 questions I always ask. It’s very apparent that everyone there truly cares about each kitty that comes through their doors. I’m incredibly thankful that we found this clinic at the time we did!
