Good with animals, bad with etas. Got 3 different etas in one day and all were wrong. Was suppose to be about an hour still out in front and has been 3.5 hours. Was suppose to go back to work but cant now. Wordt part is they never called to updat me i had to keep calling and asking.

Excellent service for our Corn snake, Noodle, who was having repeated shedding issues. Dr was very thorough and happy to pass on his knowledge. A month later and Noodle is doing wonderfully and looking fabulous.

They did an amazing job with my rat's growth removal surgery. They took such good care of him and gave us excellent instructions for his post-surgery healing. Thank you so much NW Pet Vet!

I am so impressed with NW Exotic vets staff. I run a small non profit rescue for cats and dogs but I also take on exotics when they are in need. I took my 1st ferret and needed to get lots of information on how to care for him properly. One of their Employee's, Stephanie, was absolutely AMAZING. As a vet tech myself at another clinic in Beaverton, she instructed me how to properly give him care and tips and tricks on how to do treatments. She also gave me information pamphlets on strong points to know about ferrets and their care. She also gave me the name of the two best ferret vets in the area. Thank you Stephanie and the CVT who assisted in the information I was requesting. You're all rockstar's!

So I recently just moved back to Portland Oregon from Las Vegas Nevada. I own reptiles my animals are fine I called because I wanted to ask the doctor a quick question and I as I was speaking to the receptionist she transferred me to another receptionist that knew about reptiles or at least she led me to believe when I spoke to that receptionist I informed her that I just needed to ask the doctor a quick question. she then informed me that I can’t speak to the doctor because he can’t give out free medical advice. I was a potential new patient but once she said that I knew it’s all about a dollar with them I will not be visiting this place at all.

I have been having health problems with my ferrets for quite some time. Dr. Ramsell pinpointed the problem and got them on the right path for recovery and better quality of life. I am so glad I found her and her staff! Best ferret vet ever!

We have been to this clinic twice in 6 months, and both times, I was thankful and impressed by the care given to our gecko babies in need. The staff and Dr's work fast, and are very informative and helpful. If your little critter is in need, they'll be in good hands here!

Take your furry little friends here. We do every time.

Doctor seemed very caring and knows his stuff

Never take a reptile here to see Dr. Mark Burgess at Southwest Animal Hospital (same building and address as Northwest Exotic Pet Vet) The advice he gave about my bearded dragon would cuase him to go blind and get unknown parasites that could kill a reptile. Terrible vet! Zero stars! I did not see Dr. Ramsell. I was told that she has very little experience with reptiles and the reptile "expert" is a moron. If you take a reptile to see Dr. Burgess you are risking your pets life.

Great staff, affordable, and they were very thorough in answering all my questions. Thanks for helping me and tofu!

Dr. Ramsell and the rest of the staff have been amazing with my rats. My rats have recently had a lot of health issues come up, and I always feel like the team at NW Exotics truly care about my pets. They are warm, kind, and I couldn’t ask for more a supportive and attentive vet, especially when dealing with scary health issues. Thank you Dr. Ramsell and team!

Took my 5yr old ferret in for his yearly and they were great! So knowledgeable about my ferret and his specific needs. Made it so easy to choose what tests to do and what not to spend money on since I didn't just have money lying around. Overall great experience!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I would gladly take my pets back here if they ever needed treatment.

The new system of not going into the vet with my pet is not the best, but I trust them 100% to treat my bearded dragon with care and love. We got antibiotics for a gut infection and were told we are doing great, Dr. Ramsell is amazing!

Dr. Ramsell and staff are fantastic! She and Dr. Burgess are our go-to vets for our rescue buns. Highly recommend their expert services!

I took my almost 20 foot long reticulated python here for a really mild case of Respritory infection, dr Ramsel and her team really knew how to handle my tassadar like a baby. They preheated her room with heaters and had me hold her head section the entire time to keep my gentle giant comfortable. I was amazed at the amount of knowledge and care dr Ramsel exudes and as of yesterday, tassadar ste her first meal since our vet visit and now her RI has been gone for weeks and she is so happy and healthy. Thank you Dr. Ramsel.

Hands down the best ferret Vet we have ever gone to. Katrina is the sweetest most caring Vet we know. We drove 40 minutes to take our ferret here and it was worth it every time.

Best vet I am willing to travel to. I love Katrina. I love how I am able to stay in touch and ask any needed questions. I had many recommendations to come here and I am glad I did. They don't care just about money. They truly care about your pets. They remember each and every face and name very well. First timer and definitely will be coming back!

They are capable of handling axolotls

The follow through from this place has been amazing. We took our sick rat in for an exam. The doctor herself, as well as the office staff, checked in with us often about our pet’s condition, and the attention given to us has been excellent! They are a very busy hospital, so expect this if calling in for the first time. They offer emergency appointments, and we got in the very next day. You guys have been wonderful. Thank you!

Very friendly. Been bringing my animals there for all their needs for a few years now. Recently had to say bye to my dear old lady doggo and they were very gentle and kind during our time of loss

Brought my male rat in and was very pleased with the service. Much lower cost than expected and service was quick.

They took care of my sweet bunns and they have been great since. I couldn't be more pleased with their kind service and affordable prices. I highly suggest Northwest Exotic Pet Vet if you're in the Beaverton area and have a bunny!

Dr. Katrina Ramsell is the best Ferret Veterinarian around! So kind and thorough. She really cares about her patients! The receptionist has a very poor attitude though.
