Neighbors had a horrible experience here. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR PET!

I would highly recommend Dr. Erdman. She was good with my Boy, smart in her advice and analysis - and on time.

Dr. Franklin is not only brilliant, but has an absolute heart of gold. He truly cares and in my experience, that is very hard to find. The day this man retires, I will be lost until I find someone that cares even half as much as he does. Thank you for caring for all of our fur babies. You chose the perfect profession and we are truly grateful for you. - The Keesey Family

I was referred to Dr. Erdman by several other friends who use her as their Vet. Everything I had heard regarding Dr. Erdman and her staff being professional, friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and sincerely interested in the health of my pet was spot on. There is nothing more comforting to know that your pet will always be cared for by a professional like Dr. Erdman.

I can’t say enough good thing about Dr Franklin. The staff and Dr Franklin took care of my dog at the last minute. We have never been there before but was scheduled to have an exam in about a month and they still took care of us after hearing our symptoms. Thank you so much.

Dr. Erdman and Dr. Franklin are both such incredible and brilliant doctors. The staff here will treat you like family from the moment you arrive and your pet will get so much care and attention. I've been to a lot of vets with my 14 year old kitty and none of them ever could tell me why he kept getting ear infections and vomiting. Dr. Erdman diagnosed his food allergy and all of his women's are gone! I will be forever grateful to everyone here for their love and compassion. Even though the veterinary industry is overwhelmed, Laurelwood is still taking every patient they can and taking on emergencies alongside their regular appointments. Everyone here is so dedicated to saving and improving lives and it shows in everything they do. I've never met a group of people who care so deeply about what they do. Thank you for everything.

Love all the vet techs and doctors, they do tend to be very busy, but they almost always make room for emergencies!

Awesome experience! Everyone at the front desk and Dr. Raymond were all very friendly and helpful. Made the vet visit less traumatic for my pup ☺

We have been going to Laurelwood since it opened. We followed Dr. Franklin from Raleigh Hills Vet. He has taken care of all of our dogs. We trust him to help us and he always explains our options.

Love this animal hospital. My dog has a habit of tearing or ripping entire toenails out, so we have been many times. They are accommodating, friendly, informative, and reasonably priced. We drive over 30 minutes just to come here!

Wonderful hospital with dedicated, caring staff. These people go out of their way with customer service and veterinary excellence. Very grateful that they could take such good care of my little meow meow.

we have no great photos.. but Dr Erdman is by far the most knowledgeable and kind of any Veterinarian i have had in my 70 years of owning animals (yes, i had a mare who lived to be 38 years old) Dr Erdman has not only healed my beloved kitties... she also assessed a stray cat that lived in our neighborhood and looked unwell. Could he be treated? "no. ans FIV" Since he was very poor and miserable she stopped the agony. His and mine. She is the very best come and enjoy

Professional, caring service and attention. Vets and staff are going above and beyond to care for pets and people in these strange and anxious times. I know doctors, nurses and other medical responders are getting much deserved attention and thanks, but it seems vets, vet techs and staff are working just as hard, running a lot of the same risks, but not being recognized for all the do. Thank you! We’ve been part of the Laurelwood family for years, and we’ve always received excellent care and advice, so we are not surprised at their kindness now.

Laurelwood has always taken wonder carr of my pets. They are concerned and responsive. There have been many times Dr Erdman has called at 9pm to give us an update on how our pet is doing or results of tests.

Took my puppy in for second round of shots and when I picked her up the vet said that she didnt look at her chart and gave the puppy her first shot again.

Our cat had flea-inspired seizures in which he bit himself. The area that was bitten became abscessed. Dr Erdmann operated to clean out the wounds. The price was reasonable. Dr Erdmann called at 10 PM to check on his progress and help us understand the details about how we need to take care of him during his recovery.

The only place I’ll ever take my pets. I used to live nearby, but even after moving across town, I will continue to use Laurelwood. The level of kindness, respect and professionalism they provide is unlike any other vet clinic I have ever been to. Incredibly good rates. I 100% recommend to anyone considering taking their animals here.

Dr. Lynn Erdman is simply the BEST! She is highly experienced, totally competent, incredibly empathetic when that's what ya need, she communicates very effectively and willing to give you the time doing so when circumstances require that. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? - From this old guy and wife who've had many dogs and many vets over the 36 yrs. we've lived in the area. The support staff compliments her very well, too . . .

We’ve been with Laurelwood for many years. The care they have given all our Bassets is extraordinary.

I want to start this review by saying before the pandemic they we pretty great, especially Dr. Erb. Unfortunately much has changed, and while other businesses are adapting, Laurelwood hasn't. If you're looking to schedule an appointment be ready to wait weeks and even months. In January we scheduled an appointment for our dog and then the snow storm came in February and they cancelled the appointment, stating "we will call next week to with a rescheduled time". Well it's April and we're still waiting for that call to reschedule. I can accept canceling an appointment for the safety of the staff and weather conditions, I can't accept the lack of urgency to reschedule the appointment, which we already had to wait weeks to be seen in the first place. If you try calling you have to be strategic, 8 times out of 10, you're getting a busy tone. If by some miracle they do answer, well get ready to chill on hold for 10 minutes! They're also closed between 12-2 right now, so don't call then cause you'll get a voicemail instructing you to send a text or email, but they don't respond to either option. As a customer and pet patient owner, my patience is up with Laurelwood, and simply because it feels they don't care at all. They don't care to have customer service, or they don't care to reschedule your pets appointment. They don't care to make sure you have a good experience, they just all seem burnt out and over it. When you're entire staff looks, acts, and feels burnt out, are our pets really getting the overall best care and treatment? From my experience, absolutely not! We're 15 months into the pandemic and they act like it all just happened yesterday.

Best vet clinic in portland! Honest, open, frank, and caring professionals!

Office staff were very friendly and helpful, and the vet took great care of my Belgian Malinois. Really need to improve the check in process. Maybe roll out an app/web based check in system vs calling. But I get this is new for all of us during COVID.

Best vet. They have your pet's best interest in mind first and foremost, money is secondary. I have never felt pressured into paying for things that my dog might not need. Very trustworthy. Dr Erdman is great and my anxious dog trusts her. We won't go anywhere else!

Dr. Erdman & Dr. Franklin are amazing; they've taken care of my cats for 15 years, including surgery & palliative care. I can't remember them highly enough. Their office staff, perhaps just now during Covid stuff, aren't up to par. The receptionist has given me wrong information, as has one of the techs. They're also a little grumpy, but again, that might be from overwork while all the Covid stuff is going on?

We've been taking our pets here for many, many years. The Vets and the staff are so friendly and caring. It's a wonderful place for animals and their people.

Lady was rude. Didn’t answer any of my questions. Worst experience at a pet clinic, highly not recommend!
