The lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude and condescending. I will not be taking my cat here for anything. (Update) I appreciate the response I have recieved from the owner but having stress does not warrant being rude to a potential customer. I was not asking for a same day appointment. I was just asking about pricing and availability over the next month. And she was rude. So like I said, I will not be going there. Maybe training your employees to be nicer on the phone. Or even give them some time off every now and again and they wouldn't be so stressed out.

Exceptional. All staff is 100% pet oriented and centered. They're honest and provide advise, suggestions, never pushy. Respond to emails to answer any concerns and refill medications quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Your pets are in great hands!

I called the clinic searching for a specific prescription cat food that I could not find anywhere. They were very kind and set a bag aside for me to pick up. I am no end grateful, and see this as an indication of a clinic that cares about the health of the animals. The clinic seemed very clean, organized and calm.

One visit and 5 stars as compared to my last vet. Nice place, I'm glad I switched.

The team at Canyon Pet Hospital is great! My senior cat had gotten pretty sick and they were able to get her in and seen quickly. She was given some injections and some medicine for me to administer at home. When she didn’t appear to be getting better, the vet personally took my call to discuss quality of life and supported my decision. The clinical and front office staff are so gracious, understanding, and supportive!

The best in the area, and I tried several before finding this place. I've never seen people treat animals so carefully and so well. They originally helped me when I had a pet emergency and they were the closest place at the time. I had never even been there before but they stopped what they were doing to help. I've been going here since then.

I went here for Echo, my puppy's, spay surgery. They were the only ones who were able to get her in before she turned 6 months. My dog wasn't as freaked out when I passed her to the vet, the place felt like a home town doctor, and I was able to talk to the vet face to face. I have been told that my dog "is a bit much" and have been recommended sedation for a nail trim. I told that to Dr. Boothe and she said "she's a rat terrier, they're wiggly". Even though I agree that Echo can be a bit much, it was a relief hearing Dr.Boothe say that. I felt that she understood Echo and how to handle her. Dr. Boothe also did a pre-examination of Echo and then explained what had come out on the exam. (She is a healthy puppy essentially). She also explained why you would do a spay now rather than later, and that for a smaller breed, which Echo is, it is fine. I have had dogs most my life and I had always "known" that you fix them before or at 6 months. Having Dr. Boothe take the time and say a few words on it anyway, made me feel more comfortable in my decision. Their communication was spot on through the initial appointment set up to the day of. They called me during the day of her spay, then sent me an email to tell me how the surgery had gone and when I could come to pick Echo up. Overall, the people were nice and helpful, answered any questions, and understood my dog. A wonderful place.

I've been coming here for years with all my pets and there's definitely been a mixed bag of less than stellar experiences with the office staff and one vet misdiagnosing my 2 year old dog with arthritis, but my positive experiences far outweigh the negatives. The majority of the staff are all very nice save for one front desk lady who is sometimes less patient. Dr Boothe is fantastic and knows small dogs like the back of her hand. I'll keep going here as long as I can.

I've always had a great experience here and they take great care of our dog and two cats. They stay pretty busy but if you schedule ahead of time they're a great place. We've met with both vets and both are excellent.

It has taken me a while to be able to write this without bursting into tears because of the utmost lack of care and concern I had here at this veterinary hospital. I brought my dog Muffin here with concern of her front leg. It had been bothering her for a while then one day seemed to cause her a lot of pain. It was a sudden change while on a walk. It was difficult for her to walk and I brought her in right away. The doctor I had gave her a quick and rough look over and a quick diagnosis of a slipped disk in her spine. He wasn't very thorough in his evaluation nor did he handle an older and in pain dog very easily, but was determined this was the problem. He prescribed Muffin some medicine recommended I do a blood test and left the room. I agreed to the blood test but requested to a vet tech he come back in the room and really look over her leg, because that was where the pain seemed to really be at. He assured me the pain in the leg was for sure from a slipped disk in the spine. For a week Muffin took her prescription pills and for a week she remained the same. In pain and suffering to walk or be as happy as normal. I took Muffin to a different Vet a little less than a week latter and she was seen immediately. The care in the room was extremely different. she was assisted to stand by two vet techs who handled her gently and the vet examined way more throughly then I had seen from Canyon Pet Hospital. This new vet did a series of thorough tests and body examinations This new vet asked to do Xrays and hearing the reasonable charge to do so I agreed. Long story short it came back Muffin had Osteosarcoma. Bone cancer. Her leg which was causing her pain was fractured almost completely in half from a bone mass that had burst on her leg. The fracture was clear as day in the X ray. She had no issues in the spine. My dog had a full fracture on her leg from Bone Cancer and the Canyon vet failed to even think about this . He failed to listen to my concerns about Muffins leg. He failed to check her thoroughly and carefully. He neglected to take time with an animal that came to him for care. He prescribed Medication incorrectly for a spinal issue that was not even present in Muffin. He caused more pain for my pet than was necessary. A WEEK WITHOUT PROPER CARE because I tried to trust this vets direction. He should have taken the time. He should have been concerned with her well being. He should have made an effort to seek out the problem rather than just assuming he knew. He called me months later after Muffin had passed away to tell me her blood work came out fine. I beg you PLEASE do not trust this vet team with the care of your animal. Please save yourself and your love one's the pain I and my sweet girl Muffin had to endure from inhumane practice.

I have a bulldog and two boxers need I say more?! The doctor is great with them, very thorough exams and treatment. The staff is always very accommodating and caring. I recommend this clinic highly. The cost for the services is reasonable and I know they are getting the best care so they can spend many more years as our faithful companions.

This is where we finally call home for our dogs veterinary care. We moved about a year ago and went to one vet to establish services and they were just awful. They told us they were in the kindle of management changes. Nope. So, someone suggested Canyon from my neighborhood. I'm so glad they did. The service is top notch. I do not feel like I am being sold a bunch of extra stuff. My dogs love the vets...especially drs. Boothe and Baucum. We will definitely recommend Canyon to everyone we meet.

Waiting time was normal than expected, overall appt took quite a long time. Dr. Boothe is awesome! The people working at the front desk leave A LOT to be desired. If you don’t like your job maybe you should think about finding something else. Also the rooms could REALLY use some help. The ceiling has big brown water stains. The counters are really beat up & chipped. Walls are dingy. Looks like it was last decorated in the early 80’s. Edit yr later- made an appt to see Dr. Boothe who was great and was the reason I went in the first place! Because I made an HONEST review after my 1st appt I was told I was banned after they made an appt with me the day before. I was told that “I didn’t play nice” ...I’m sorry that whoever was up front and helped me the first day I was there was maybe having a tough day but she was extremely rude to me. And regarding the decor I am there to see the VET not the office manager or the decor. Its ok though I prefer to go back to MURRAYHILL VET anyway. I was there for 15 yrs & they are incredible but my vet retired and I have a doxmix and was told by a friend Dr. Boothe was really good with that breed so I thought I would try it. Murrayhill is AWESOME! Thank you for doing me a favor I live closer to them anyway!???????? I originally gave them 3 stars but clearly honesty is not respected there. Not surprised there was no reply back from them!

Canyon Pet Hospital has always taken good care of my pup. They remind us when she needs shots and they have worked hard to get her in immediately when she was sick or in pain. They also often call after seeing her for anything more then a shot to check how she is doing, which I really appreciate.
