Shannon is VERY knowledgeable and comes with an impressive training resume. In addition...her work w/ Northwest Battle Buddies is of immense benefit to those who have served!

Save your money! You can train as they do! Just purchase a shock collar and prong collar! Not happy with responses when asked about misbehavior , the trainer says well did you shock him. Thought it was going to be actual training, not this!

Shannon has taught us a lot about the new puppy but also about us, and how our behavior is vital to training. She has so much knowledge and skill! Really a great facility, staff and teachers!

Really impressed with the professionalism of the staff and owner. My lab spent 29 days here training and the results are beyond expectation. If you are in need of a trainer for any breed of dog, this is the place to go - highly recommend!

VERY VERY impressed with Mans Best Friend, Shannon and the office staff. We got a german pincher and he was constantly extremely high strung and fully out of control. Winter of 2019 we went on a 2 week vacation and decided that was a good time for Achilleus Maximus to go thru their school for him. We left him their for a total of 1 month per their recommendation. That was tough not seeing him much but well worth the cost since he is a different dog now. One command she teaches is "down". This unbeleivably hyper high strung dog WILL go in a down position for an hour in ANY area of the house, not just in his bed. He will not get up. Its like a time out. The office staff was friendly and loves your dog too. My wife of 39 years wants Shannon to train me now. Problem is I wont pay for that. lol Mens best Friend is terrific.

Best Dog trainer ever! My German Shepherd has a ton of energy and after 3 weeks she was a new dog. Our family now has the tools we need to be the best family for our pup!

Our dog was trained here and we have used their kennel services for many years. They are truly top notch, super friendly, knowledgeable and in a league of their own!

I'm sure they are great for training but we will not be boarding our dog there again. We brought in a healthy dog & she came back with sores on her legs & vomiting. We took her to the vet twice. We were not allowed to view the kennel. We would not have stayed here if our vet hadn't recommended them.

This place is awful, rudest people I’ve ever encountered. They treat your dog like trash you can hear them screaming at the dogs to be quiet. Can’t stress it enough do not bring your dogs here these people are atrocious.

Great place for dog training. Helped us understand what to do to stop aggression in our two dogs. In one lesson we learned how we can control them. Speaking in a normal tone of voice and popping their leash when their behavior becomes aggressive. We learned when they move forward to greet someone, that is normal social behavior. We also learned that submission, after a correction, is looking away or sitting, or laying down.

We leave out German Shepherd puppy here when we travel and have used this kennel in the past with another dog . I can’t say enough about them they all go the extra mile to help not only the dog shuts to the stay but the owner as well . All staff is friendly and you can tell loves each dog that comes in . You are greeted with a smile and everyone that works there is friendly . Our puppy has a blast during her stay and they never mind when I call to check on her . It is so nice to have a trusted place to leave our puppy we love so much and I know she’s in the best care while we are away . Thank you Mans Best Friend and staff Tammy Meyer

Shannon trained my dog Daffney 13 yrs ago for my now deceased husbands medical alert dog for PTSD, and more recently my sons medical alert dog . We board our dogs also here when needed and they get a refresher course on their training at the same time. We have referred many friends to Mans Best Friends for training for their pets, all have been very pleased with their training also.

Shannon and her team are awesome! She also runs Northwest Battle Buddies. It is a great organization that serves Vets that have suffered combat injuries.

They take great care of the dog. I feel comfortable leaving him for just a day or a over a week.

We own a male Great Dane that was rehomed with us at 16 months old. He had no training, manners, or idea of how big he was and it became immediately clear why we were his third home. Instead of getting rid of him we turned to Shannon and the great staff at Man's Best Friend. I was highly skeptical of leaving my dog for that long but it was the best decision we could have made! He has been home only 5 days now and it already is life changing for him and us. I would recommend Shannon for any dog, she knows exactly what she is doing and is very willing to help. Before he got help it was a stressful house for him, our kids, other dog, and especially our cat; that's all changing now!

Awesome place. Adopted a dog off craigslist found she was not trained and still had lots of puppy in her. Plus she was chained to a tree and then has 5 acres to run about after we adopted her. After talking to brother in law, who has had 2 dogs trained there, we took her there. Left her there to be trained. Staff was never put off by me calling daily to check in on her. Shannon and the staff are awesome and very courteous. After a month got my dog back and went to do some training to what she had learned and how we could keep up with what she learned. Was shocked to see the change in my dog. Made it more manageable for my wife, who wasn't too keen on getting a dog. According to Shannon my dog was one of the most stubborn dogs she has ever trained. After getting her home she has become a great dog and is very easy to call and settle. Plus instead of me walking her it was more of her pulling me before training after it was so nice to have a calm walk that I could dictate the pace and terms. Recently my mother lost her husband and suffered a heart attack in a 2 month span. Shannon and staff once again were very accommodating. Took my Mom's dog in and didn't make us feel like we were abandoning her dog. Always were willing to talk daily and answer questions my mother or I had.
