My little dachshund had 5 teeth pulled. The pain medication they gave us has the potential to help but it does not work on acute pain. Five teeth pulled and two skin masses removed. He’s miserable. The liquid medication is not for acute pain . You would think after having the dogs teeth pulled they wouldn’t expect you to poke pills down their throat. I’m very disappointed.

I called 2 days in a row. Dog having seizures. They were too busy Wed. Called at 0800 Thursday. NO RETURN CALL. Cleary no compassion or concern for a potential deadly situation.

Been going here for 10-15 years now, the veterinarians are awesome. But the front office staff is terrible. Never call you back, miscommunication, wrong or overcharges and quite a few times downright rude to me and my family. After my last experience I can no longer justify the frustration working with them

My dog needed emergency surgery and they worked with me to make it happen not once but twice. Both times different doctors. They communicated regularly, I felt they took the time for me. I’ve also gone to them for years for spays, yearly shots and check ups. No complaints.

Everyone was helpful and caring. Got us in fast and kept me informed on how my cat Gibbs was doing. He started feeling better and was back to his normal attitude quickly.

The front desk staff that I worked with was rude. Every time I would ask a question, the response I would get .... "the vet didn't seem to concerned about it" Vet was already on to her next customer. I felt dismissed. Some of the staff was very kind.

Still can't go in with your pets. It's ridiculous, but let's all go to packed restaurants shall we?

Always busy...that usually means they know what they are doing and lots of people want to do business with them. Nice that they have some evening appointment times.

This review is only based on our last visit with Dr. Miller for my dog Bane, a 90 pound black Lab. He is the sweetest dog with a very laid back demeanor, he doesn't require manhandling in the least. Dr. Miller evaluated Bane and determined he had an ear infection, they took him back to treated him and he was returned to me a bloody mess. When I asked why they said it was from him shaking his head. When I inspected him he was bleeding from the top of the head, the neck and the ear. It was obvious they used his collar as a restraint as it was completely blood stained. Dr. Miller was full of excuses just concerned with covering her own butt! I had to clean him up myself in the exam room. Awful experience!! Stay away from Dr. Miller at all cost! Alder Creek is an okay vet, nothing special, nice facility, mediocre front desk people. If you have to go here, ask for Dr. Melzer or Dr. Young and steer clear of Dr. Miller. Insist that they be carful with your beloved pet and remind them several times to handle them gently and with respect.

I used to love this place. Have taken my MANY animals to them for several years. However, twice now in the last few years I have had incredibly unprofessional doctor visits and a very sarcastic reception experience. This most recent time the doctor pushed his political opinions on me and when I didn't blindly follow, he stereo typed me, visibly rolled his eyes at me, and huffed when I asked a question about what was best for my new puppy. This in combination with the other negative experiences has left me with no option but to find vet care elsewhere. Our pets are important to us, especially in these crazy times. I would appreciate a doctor who recognizes that not everyone has to have the same beliefs in order to love their animals properly.

The Dr’s I’ve had always show how much they care for my cat, and recently when I had to leave her over night I felt at ease knowing she’d get the best care. The techs and the ladies at the front are also knowledgeable and kind.

Definitely more headache than it should be. It's just not worth it to me. The absolute worst customer facing staff.

They bent over backwards to help our cat out. The Dr. stayed late to take him in. The staff is efficient and very courteous.

Wait times are minimal. Staff is quick but very efficient and the vet was very caring. Shared lots of knowledge and was thorough. The prices are very fair.

After spending $20,000 there over a few years on animal care for 6 of our animals. I was just told They aren't accepting new patients after I got a new baby kitty. All my other animals DIED!!! IM NOT A NEW PATIENT!!!! So rude!!!!?! Wanna wait in the waiting room for 30-45 minutes, to then wait another 30 to 45 minutes in the exam rooms? Oh and if you need a prescription filled that'll take another 30 minutes

Alder Creek Veterinary Clinic deserves 10 stars. The staff are friendly and professional. From my initial phone call speaking with Anisha, and a couple afterwards with some questions that came to mind, she was very helpful and professional. Dr. Meltzer was great. He explained everything clearly and showed real concern for my sons dog, Rocky. I recommend Alder Creek Veterinary Clinic when ever anyone asks.

Alder Creek vet was recommended by the adoption agency. What a mistake. Can't get through, they don't answer the phone and you can't leave a message. Took me 2 days. I have been going there for 3 years . Have had have problems the whole time. Techs can't read the chart. The last straw. Had an appointment today. Arrived 10 minutes early. Told I had to wait, I was too early. Then they promptly forgot about me. Extra charges I have not had in previous apps for the same tests. Got his nails clipped, he came out bleeding. Going back to East Paden were he had emergency surgery, when I couldn't get in touch with Alder Creek. Don't trust your loved one's to this office.
