I'm forever grateful to the folks at Columbia Vet Hospital in Astoria for their compassion yesterday. They went above and beyond for me and Rosabelle Kitty in her last moments. How do you ever repay such a gift? Thank you.

My kitty who was almost 18 suffered a stroke and they were the only vet who would see her. We drove over an hour and a half because my baby was suffering and they put us at the front of the line and quickly put her to rest. Thank God for them helping us like that.

My 9 week old puppy was bit in the face by another dog on friday...I unfortunately waited longer than I should have to get him in. I took him to a clinic on Monday and she looked in his mouth and told me he was going to need surgery and sent me to Columbia Veterinary....So first thing Tuesday morning I took him there...I was feeling so bad and mad at myself for waiting so long....They were filled up by time I got to front of line but they still took him and worked him on in between their other clients...They talked to me with respect and very friendly...They kept me updated on what was going on with him all day and gave my baby the best care ever....I will definitely be seeing them again if he every has any other issues

I absolutely love this place!!! The people that work there are such hard workers and they deal with alot of people daily and they are always so nice and ready for the next patient!! The cost is another reason I love it usually the vet is so expensive but this place always surprises me!! I took my kitty there cause she was having urinary issues and for the exam, ultrasound, and meds it was only $78 dollars!! The only thing is its first come first serve so you have to get there like at 6am and be ready to stand in line until 8am when they open!! It goes fast though once they open. Thank you to everyone at Columbia Vet, I appreciate you and everything you do for our furry children!!

I checked your website and called to see what time your drop-in clinic closed. Your website and the message on your phone said 5:30. I arrived at 3:30 with my sick cat. Entering through your door with the sign that says “Open”, I was the only customer in the waiting room. I was eventually greeted by a very rude lady that told me to come back Monday because you’d stopped taking patients at 1:30. My work schedule is such that I cannot come during the week. You need to update your phone message and website with accurate info. so this doesn’t happen to someone else.. An apology and showing any amount of concern for the cat would have been nice. I’ve been a customer for 19 yrs but will not be returning.

Affordable and friendly. One of the only places that would do a spay and neuter for my kittens within a month's time.

Great overall care and friendly service, a little bit of a wait due to covid, but my fur babies are worth waiting for !! Staff are amazing and doing there absolute best..!! So have patience!

Great people arrive very early because this service is first come first serve.

This place has very good prices and knowledgeable vets. However they don't take take appointments. So you have to arrive when they open to check in, then come back. For example they open at 9 AM.. I arrived at 9:15 and there were probably 12 cars there already ahead of me. I got checked in and was told to come back at 2::30 PM so I had several hours to either wait or drive around the area. When I came back at 2:30 it was a additional Half hour wait until until someone got to me.. So there is a price to pay for getting Low price veterinary care.

They stayed and waited for me to show up from an hour away. Instantly took my very sick puppy in. They were on top of everything, even with a sea of other patients during the afternoon. My dog, got the best care! They were extremely caring towards me and my concerns. I left with everything we needed. They were affordable for all they did, I am really fortunate to have found them open on a Saturday morning. When every other vet on the coast near me referred by vm to go to Hillsboro 2 hours away...

Reasonable prices..... unless you need to go back over and over again because they never take the time to actually address the issue. They prescribed my dog skin itchy meds for an ear infection!!!! I wondered why the infection never went away. That was their 2nd solution for the ear yeast infection too. Now they want me to bring my dog in again and wait in line when they already diagnosed the issue. I wonder what expensive med they want me to buy this time that has nothing to do with the problem???

Took care of baby as always, busy place but loving and proficient in care. The only thing about todays visit was, when It was my turn to get the paperwork, the nurse asked again to confirm my appointment in annoyance sass and rolled her eyes as she went to retrieve the paperwork.

The absolute worst customer service. Rude and disrespectful. However they are the cheapest around . You get what you pay for.

These people are the most loving and compassionate on the planet!! I have been taking my kids there for over 25yrs. Without them I would never have had them for as long as I have. They are very knowledgeable and listen to what you have to say about your kids and welcome your thoughts! I would never take my pets anywhere else!!!

Sadly, we had to make the decision to put our wonderful kitty Lucas down. The staff were amazing and the doctor in charge was kind and accommodating. They truly made the whole thing bearable.

Our dog Cooper needed a spay and also a dental procedure. Columbia Veterinary saved us so much time and money giving us peace of mind. They did a great job and followed up with us on the weekend. We really could not have had this procedure done at a better clinic. Such a great decision and their dedication to low-cost made this decision even better.

GOOD LUCK TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! THEY EITHER HANG UP ON YOU OR A RECORDING MAIL BOX FULL!!! NEVER EVER WOULD I GO BACK THERE. DR. GOZA LEFT AND THE PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL!!!!! BASICALLY THE MCDONALD' S OF VETERINARY MEDICINE BUT MCDONALDS HAS FAR SUPERIOR SERVICE THAN THIS SO CALLED VETERINARY CLINIC. H

Absolutely amazing service and they want to help the animals and that's there first priority. I wish more vets were like this.

We had a wonderful experience here. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that they don't really make appointments, you need to get there before they open and wait in line and be maybe one of the first 5-8 people in line to be seen that morning. Unless theres an emergency theyre pretty good about getting those in if its a real emergency. But if you're needing routine services or non life threatening help you might show up at 8am and not he able to be seen untill 4pm that day. Keep that in mind. Clear your day to get your vet appointment done. Anyways they were really organized and friendly! I checked in in the morning and came back around the time o was told and was seen maybe after waiting in my car for 20 minutes. Our visit was for first puppy shots and deworming and the vet gave me lots of good information about my pup, what he was doing and why and they were just really sweet people! Will be back for her 12 and 16 week shots. The prices we also really great! We love this place.
