Very poor customer service, the receptionist there has NO concept of customer service and/or caring I would avoid this place at all costs, you've been warned. Will go to another vet after the appalling treatment received there. Dog had an emergency and they were less than caring/proffessional.

NW Veterinary Clinic is the BEST Vet Clinic I've ever been to. They are VERY busy, extra busy with COVID and running in and out all day to bring animals in and answer all the questions. Dr Rosie is the best Vet I've met over the years. His wife, assistant, is so busy that it often takes awhile to get a call back but she is very helpful and kind. She listens and talks with Dr about questions and get gets the Dr's response for you. She takes the extra time necessary to be sure each person has all their questions answered which may make her response to calls slower - but she is giving very professional service to everyone. They are a great team and fees are very reasonable.

Unfortunately website said they were open on a Saturday at 10:30am. The sign on the locked door said they were not. :-(

My dog's been patients with Dr Rosie since about 11 years ago or 12 I can't quite remember. I have three miniature wiener dogs and a Pharaoh hound and that's a very different range of dogs and Dr Rosie has always taken the most wonderful care of all of my dogs and the prices there are not bad and that is just very very honest and caring and knowledgeable which is very important I highly recommend it.

The receptionist told me I was too much of a hassle when my pet died and was absolutely the rudest person I have ever met. Later I had someone else pick up my pet’s ashes because I couldn’t stand to see that woman again and she told that person that she just couldn’t be bothered to care anymore. I wish I could say good things about Dr. Rosie because HE’S great with animals, but he knows what she does and doesn’t do anything about it.

They take great care of my 4 dogs. This is the only vet they have ever known. My dogs are not scared of going to the vet, or having to be left there on occasion. Their prices are not super expensive compared to other vets. I just want to add, three of my 4 dogs are dachshunds which are known to have many health problems. Dr. Rosie saved the life of all 3 of my dogs several times. One had a bad tooth, pushing her eyeball almost out of the socket-he saved her. One had a tummy issue he quickly diagnosed & successfully treated, I could go on and on. Vets are Drs, of animals which is tougher than a people dr.as the animals can't tell you what's bothering them, their anatomy is different, etc. Drs 'practice' medicine. Vets excel at this, ESPECIALLY Dr. Rosie. I will never recommend another vet, nor take my pets anywhere else.

So glad I switched vets a few years back. Never regretted it. I live close and am not time pressured like some folks, so phone communication has not been an issue for me. I especially appreciate how they handled the heart rending goodbye to my beloved pet. Dr Rosie and Raelene are caring people.

Wow I can’t even get an appointment to have a second opinion for my dog. I called yesterday inquiring about making an appointment so I could get a second opinion for my dog who is having skin issues and no one answered so I left a voice mail. I got a call back today and kind of explained part of the situation but mostly expressed I just wanted a second opinion on what they thought was going on when I’ve ruled out fleas and have been already alternating food types being careful of how I do it as he is by nature a food sensitive allergy prone breed. The last veterinarian I saw was also not worried about fleas, however my mom just recently lost her cat to liver failure that the previous vet was treating for urinary tract infections. Which the previous vet did no diagnostics, they just wanted to treat the symptoms. So I both wanted a second opinion and to probably change vets. Because I feel if it is allergies and a simple change in food clears up the symptoms without him having to be on 150 dollars worth of meds for the rest of his life we should probably start there and not treat him for maybe this and maybe that. People should not be shamed for trying to get a second opinion or for considering changing veterinary clinics. I don’t even know how good your practice is because I couldn’t get past the judgemental receptionist.

My dog was missed diagnosed but I did not know until I switched to Arlington veterinary hospital because they never answer the phone and we had prior issues ending in death because "he was too far gone" and Dr Rosie wanted to go home. please take your dog to Arlington veterinarian hospital the are much more professional and actually care for your furry family members

They made putting my dog down as easy as possible when he contracted cancer, scheduling it for after hours and letting him take all the time he wanted to say hi to everyone and settle down before giving him a sedative.

The vet is really kind and great with animals. That is the only reason why I gave them a 3 star. If not for how kind the vet is I would give it a 1 star since 0 stars is not possible. I have been in many times I'm the past for my pets and every single time without fail the receptionist has been extremely rude and snarky. Absolutely ridiculous! There was no reason for the attitude ever! Especially when I am dealing with the death of my pet in a tramatic way who had severe lung problems and her comment is that people should not have pets if they can't afford medication for them. After that I had had enough! I will never go there again. I have switch vets and now go to an amazing vet on the other side of town.

We have been taking our fur babies to Dr Rosie for the past 10 years. We would not trust any other Vet to take care of our babies. They trust him too, they are not scared (No Shaking) when he examines them. Dr Rosie is so thoughtful and considerate of your feelings when you loose one of your fur babies. "He Cares"! We lost our Kitty to cancer and he was so gentle with him and took his time knowing we were loosing our baby. Yes, he might be straight forward, but why would you want it any other way? I know we dont. In addition, He calls a couple days later to check on his patient when it's a serious issue. Do all Vets do that? Yes, the receptionist might be short with you, (Sometimes) but you need to realize she is the only receptionist and does it ALL "Give her a break"! They are not a big clinic, but extremely busy. I do wish there was somebody to answer there phone, if they could hire someone (highschoolperson) to help answer phones that would be good. But that is the only fault, if that is a fault?

If not for the quality care provided by Dr. Rosie himself, I would have given this business a rating of 1 star. Our problems with Northwest Veterinary Clinic started a little more than a year ago with the receptionist and the frequent lack of responses to our phone messages and blocked attempts to visit the office during business hours. We have experienced dozens of occasions where we have called during business hours, and no one answers the phone. Ever. Because our dog was so sick and was getting good treatment from Dr. Rosie, we put up with it. We were forced to leave messages, only to have them returned oftentimes 24 hours later or, in some cases, more than three days later. About a year ago, we showed up at 1:30 to pick up a prescription for our dog's medication, only to discover that, unbeknownst to us, the receptionist had started closing the office at 1 p.m. for an hour so that she could "catch up on phone messages." That policy is not posted anywhere in their office, and it certainly was never communicated to us during any of our visits. On one other occasion, I arrived at 3:00 p.m. only to find the office was locked again with the receptionist sitting behind the desk. She threw her hands up in the air at me behind the glass door as if I was inconveniencing her. Each trip to that vet is a 30-minute, one-way drive for us -- so I had to sit in my car until she opened the door at 3:15. It's odd that any business would shut down for an hour in the middle of the business day, at 1 p.m. (the lunch hour I could understand). But clearly that policy was applied inconsistently. The receptionist often berated us for silly things, made snarky comments and was generally unpleasant. Her demeanor seems to have changed markedly in the past year or so. Again, we were willing to overlook these indignities and inconveniences in exchange for the quality care we received from the veterinarian. The final straw for us occurred a little more than a week ago when we called to have our dog's life-saving prescription renewed. Again, we left a message and days went by with no response. Our puppy's medicine ran out over the weekend, and he passed away Monday morning. Though no one can ever know for sure if he passed because he didn't have his meds, I have to think it was, at the very least, hastened because of it. About a month ago, I decided to take one of our cats to the Arlington Veterinary Hospital instead. I received excellent care at that facility and was treated with dignity by all of the staff. That's my recommendation for all the readers of this post.
